Deep in god's hearts.

The two exited the police station quietly trying their best to not wake up the police officer, his sleep was so deep he didn’t seemed to notice.

“So what are we doing now?” said Yui after they entered the street.

“Are you afraid from heights?” asked Natsuki.

“Yes I do” Yui hid how much he is afraid from heights, it’s one of the most fearsome things for him.

“So close your eyes on this one” Natsuki smiled.

He lifted Yui like Yui was a baby.

“What are you doing? put me down right now!” Yui commended.

Natsuki didn’t listen, he stood in the pose athletes use before they are starting to run, a few seconds after he jumped, his jump was much higher than the buildings under. Natsuki was having fun for sure, however Yui was about to vomit. The view under the two changed constantly until it became the old gray street. They started to get down and eventually landed exactly in front of the door of Yui’s house. Natsuki left Yui from his hands expecting him to stand up but instead he laid down on the floor and said quietly “too high” again and again.

Natsuki knocked the door a few times, Aku opened the door and Nana jumped from the side.

“Daddy! I didn’t knew where you were so I came to big brother Kimori’s house. Is it ok?” Nana asked, her voice sounded happy but when she saw no one was looking she changed her face to disgust, I hate hugging this idiot she thought to herself, I failed so this is my punishment.

“Of course it is ok” Natsuki petted Nana’s head.

Her face looked now like a stray dog about to bite a person who just petted it.

“Aaah!” Nana saw Yui laying on the floor “why is big brother Yui like this?”

“Too high. Too high” Yui kept saying quietly, his eyes widened a lot.

Natsuki smiled and picked up Yui the same way as before “I’m sure he just needs some sleep.”

“Mr. Natsuki, please come in, I just made some cookies” Aku said.

“Of course” Natsuki entered the apartment and put Yui on the couch.

“So… you said you was angry on Yui before, what brings you here?” Aku brought her cookies from the kitchen.

“I need some help with something” Natsuki sat on the floor “Naomi, please go to the kitchen, I want to have an adult talk with Aku here.”

“Ok daddy!” Nana went to the kitchen.

“What is it?” Aku gave a cookie to Natsuki.

“I was in the black market today, I sell there things in order to get some money to give Naomi food to eat, I’m working really hard to pay the house rent, I couldn’t make it this month and I need somewhere to stay until I found an actual job.” Natsuki looked really disappointed.

“Do you have something in mind?” Aku sat near Natsuki.

“Not really… maybe I will start working in a pizza place or something” Natsuki said, looking at the floor in shame.

“Pizza place? you deserve better” Aku tried to comfort Natsuki “what about a model? you can become successful easily.”

“I don’t have time for this, I’m a single parent with a 10 years old girl, I need a job with free time so I can take care of Naomi” Natsuki didn’t find a lot of comfort in Aku’s words.

“Anyway, I have a place you can live in, it’s a big castle in a big field.” Aku tried to find solutions for Natsuki.

“A castle? it will feel too unnatural, right until now we lived in a pretty small house. But maybe we can live in a house on this street?” Natsuki wanted to be as close as he can to Yui.

“I don’t see why not” Aku said lightly.

“Thank you a lot, I will take Naomi and we will search for a nice place with furnitures nearby” Natsuki looked thankful.

“You think I forgot?” Aku’s face changed suddenly “after what happened in the court there is no doubt, you are gods.”

Natsuki looked panicked, he didn’t notice Aku was there, he made sure no one of the boys are nearby and said quietly:

“Yes, we are gods, don’t tell anyone.”

Natsuki changed his expression too, Aku is not the only one who knows that trick.

“If you tell someone you will have to fight a god.”

“Good”

“Good”

They both smiled again like they usually do, they are not that different from each other in the end.

He went to the kitchen and took Nana, they both exit the house and stopped playing their character.

“She noticed, didn't she?” Nana said with her flat expression.

“She did, but don’t worry, I invited her to fight if she tells the others” Natsuki said proudly.

Nana raised her tiny hand and gave a little punch to Natsuki in the chest, he folded over and started coughing blood, to think she can make a man two times her height be in pain so easily.

“What was that for?” Natsuki said angrily when he finally stopped coughing so much.

“You dumdum!” Nana looked angry “you are not thereting at all, only weak.”

“I might be weaker than you but at least I look stronger than you!” Natsuki was really not happy.

“You are lame, it’s a shame that I saved you instead of my brother” Nana still didn’t showed any emotions.

“It’s not my problem you can’t identify your own little brother!” Natsuki was really upset by what Nana said.

Nana stood in place and two big tears appeared on her cheeks, she started crying.

“I took you instead of him to that shelter, my brother is dead because of me.”

Natsuki didn’t say anything, just hugged Nana tightly. Nana hugged him back, her face showed a lot of regret “maybe if I lost my actual brother I should've made you my brother.”

Nana kept on crying, the two hugged until the cold night came, even if sometimes it doesn’t look like it, they have a lot of affection for each other deep in their hearts.
