Chapter 34:

CHAPTER 34

Stalked, Isekaid, Stalked Again

World Number 1. Human. Can have more than 1 subclass. At first that I thought that humans can create Keyward Stone. I was wrong on that one. That is Perfect Blent’s trait. I can however, have more than 1 subclass. For now, they can sense Keyward Stone. It seems that no one knows why, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that can happen because of Feys.

World Number 2. I don’t what the main species from this world is called, but apparently they can manipulate gravity in one way or another. This means that if I have to face Salty Ray Robinson or Timothy Aquinas, they can manipulate gravity as well. That will have to depend on whether they can figure that out or not. Hopefully, the knights didn’t capture them with Submissing Freedom. I would rather not fight my former party members.

World Number 13. A mystery to me for now. They can dispel contract spell. That’s all I know about them. It would’ve been a great asset to have them. If this is fiction, then they won’t come around because that would make the story shorter. Maybe they can come in a sequel?

World Number 39. Ambrousian and Dwarvel. That’s what I know so far. There could be more. Ambrousian can revive once per day. Dwarvel is basically a living forge. From the records, they had been in at least one partnership and one war with each other. Dwarvel is the one on the losing side. Ambrousian is winning and spreading their control all over this world with the help of Submissing Freedom. My enemy for now. If this is fiction, I would win against them then fight Dwarvel in a sequel. Let’s hope that this story doesn’t get any sequel. I want to stop the fighting.

World Number 69. Demon. I’ve met some of them, but I don’t know what they can give as a species. They have some magics, but there’s no confirmation that I can have those magics if Sorcerous Lake decided to add Demon to my species.

Fey. I have no idea what their World Number is. I’m not sure whether I should be calling them as enemy or not. They help to spread Contractuaries here, so that’s good. But they’ve also ruined the Demons to the point that Demons opened portals to this world to escape whatever cataclysm that the Fey brought.

Wait a minute. World Number 2 has gravity, right? When Brenuaza used gravity magic in her equation to make portals, does that mean that she has access to World Number 2? If the Feys used the same way, how many worlds have access to World Number 2? As far as I know, Goldcalibur only send to here, 39. There’s no way to direct where a Goldcalibur would teleport someone. Someone else is making it. Either that’s the knockoffs, or Goldcalibur is the knockoff to something far more powerful teleporter.

Wait. The Nostra brothers have white hair. The person I see in Sorcerous Lake also has white hair. Is this another species in World Number 39?

“Yoohoo!”

Brenuaza. That must mean that I’m in the public consciousness right now. It’s rather empty for something so public. I thought that it would be full of scientific experiments from conquered world.

Wait. That’s not my thought. Something hijacked my mind. Somehow, I know that it belongs to Brenuaza. She’s in my head? No. I got the feeling that I’m also inside her head. We’re both inside each others’ head? Oh… that’s how it works.

The public consciousness is a realm where everyone’s minds combined. Everyone knows all the thoughts that were made in this realm. At least it doesn’t share the past…

Wait! It can! Then that means that Brenuaza knows that I am prepared to stab her back if she ever decided to turn her back to me. At the same time, I know that Brenuaza planned to turn World Number 39 into the second home for Demons in case the Feys ruined World Number 69. All secrets are out. There’s no use trying to smooth talk anything. Both of us can know everything. This alliance is already dead. I would fight her but somehow I have the information that violence cannot take place in public consciousness. This realm is the bridge between everyone’s minds in Sorcerous Lake. No one has authority over the other in here. No lies no tricks. Only truth that everyone must share.

This must be why Brenuaza wants me to get here. She already got a new species added to her. In fact, her mind tells me that she got it in World Number 69. Some of the worlds have the lake too. Even if she tried to gain any new species, it won’t work. She’ll automatically go into the public consciousness. Everyone else already know about her. I’m her best bet to change everyone’s mind about imprisoning her in the lake. Not going to happen. I would rather imprison her here forever than letting her go.

Nostrades and Nostreidon are also here. Good. They also got past their own subconsciousness. They are looking at my past. They know that I lied about never seeing Nostrazeus. At the same time, they can also see that I did fight to take Bread Village. They can see my failure. They can also see my effort to raise an army against the Ambrousians and my plan to let Contractuaries spread all over this world so that no one would be enslaved again. From their inspection, I know that they acknowledge that my actions far outweigh my lie. They forgive me. They’re also on board with my plan. That’s good to know. I’m thankful for them for believing in me.

Aurelius appears out of thin air. He knows that I had a crush on him. He reminds me that he is married. Even if death did them part, he will find a way to get back to her. Oh flour! Everyone knows about my crush! How do I hide this?! Stay away! Don’t look at me! Don’t look at my mind like I’m a trash on the ground! Stop probing!

That part aside, he’s actually agreeing with everything else in my mind. He is also sorry for attacking me in the river. I can forgive him for that as long as he never mentioned that I had a crush on him. That’s not a problem for him. The problem is everyone else also knows this! Flour!

Besides that, Aurelius presents a dilemma. He can fight for my cause, but his subclass ability will only make him a hindrance to everyone. He proposes that he stays in the public consciousness to keep Brenuaza from getting out. That way, she can’t even use Minion Mesh to cause any problem outside of Sorcerous Lake. Her current knowledge has already been shared with everyone here. If anyone needs it, they can collaborate from Brenuaza’s knowledge without the risk of bringing the Demons to 39. Even if everyone in public consciousness decided to go out and help, Aurelius will stay and spread Brenuaza’s knowledge to every newcomer.

60% vote yes to keep Brenuaza here. Safe to say that she’s fuming.

The next vote is for sending people back to World Number 39 to free Bread Village and fight against Ambrousian Empire. I, of course they let me go. They also vote for Nostra brothers to fight for their homeland. One third of people from World Number 39 agree to fight. That’s good to hear.

They also allow everyone to download every bit of knowledge from this public consciousness into everyone that’ll fight with me. That’s good to know. The more knowledge we have, the better. However, there is one downside to this. It might alter the way we think. This time, the vote is almost fifty fifty. Many of them were worried about us being braindead. We got the knowledge. That’s the important part.

Before I leave, there is another issue going on: what should they do with new Adventurers?

Previously, they sent Nostrazeus to kill as many new Adventurers as possible because they caused too many destruction especially on Bread Village. With my arrival here, they’re rethinking it. I’m bringing a change that they want, so it’s possible that there are other Adventurers that would do the same.

The first vote is whether Nostrazeus should be brought back. Majority vote is no. Second vote is sending more people to accompany Nostrazeus. This is agreed upon. The third one is about whether they should send people to accompany new Adventurers to see if they’re should be kept alive or not, in case they’re bringing the change that they want like I did. This one is fifty fifty. I’m on the agreeing side. There’s no doubt that this will be voted again after I leave. I have no control over that. There is nothing else to vote, so I return back to World Number 39.

For now, I have no reliable way to return to my original world. That’s one objective paused. Second, Brenuaza is trapped in Sorcerous Lake. That objective is complete for now. Letting Contractuaries spread should be the only objective I have right now.

I’m heading towards a war. I can’t help but think that I’ve set the first step for another war against me in the future. After all, Sorcerous Lake is a link between many worlds. They’re practically a hidden government that could go against me in the future.
