Wallchester Prison: The Lost Chaplet Exists!

The woman in charge of Wallchester Prison, Ichika Iwashi, stood with her arms folded several floors above looking down at the visitors coming in. She jumped down and landed hard on purpose in front of Sayo.

Ichika: “OHHHHHH Sayo! No more than one visitor with you! You know the rules.”

Sayo: “Ichika…”

Iki: “We don’t have time, peabrain. Get out of the way.”

Ichika: “Oh well looky looky. Iki Ritus, the leader of the…what was it again? I always forget. It always slips my mind. Ah, whatever. There are a little too many Swordsmen here at once. I’m going to have to strip your powers.”

Since Ichika controlled all 6 Antimatter Chaplets, she had full control of the facility and who was given their mana. She stripped everyone of their mana, but Kazuki’s remained. Iki’s did not go away, but he concealed it to make sure she didn’t know he was associated with the Dark Mold.

Ichika: “Hmmm, I don’t quite like this. All 6 Antimatter Chaplets, and I can’t stop your mana. Who the hell are you?”

Kazuki: “Alcion, Kazuki. At your service.”

Ichika: “Ohhhhhhh! Who?”

Yahiko: “Are you stupid? He’s the legendary wielder of Alcion. The Ultimate Weapon.”

Ichika: “Oh? Oh!!!! OHHH!!! No way! Oh my god! The legendary wielder of Alcion! I’ve waited my whole life for this very moment…Just kidding! Nobody knows who you are, old man. Get out of my facility. I have prisoners to attend to.”

Kazuki: “Old? Agatha, have I gotten old?”

Agatha: “No master. I believe she is being rude.”

Ichika: “Sayo. You yet again disappoint me in every way possible. Now get out. By the rules, 2 visitors may approach. The rest must leave. Don’t make me use this.”

She tapped her sword and pointed at the Demise Chaplet, threatening to use it on everyone there, whom most didn’t possess mana at the moment.

Kento: “Use it. Be my guest. You’ll die anyway after using it. I’d love to see it.”

Kazuki: “Oh? You mean this chaplet?”

Kazuki pulled out a Demise Chaplet that looked the exact same, yet Ichika didn’t understand. It was supposed to be the only one in the world. She was sure of it. ‘How does he have that?’ she questioned in her mind, but then asked out loud.

Kazuki: “I am an honest man, so I will tell the truth of my powers. I have control of every chaplet in this world. I also have access to some other stuff, but I will not disclose that information right now. But yes, would you like some more of these?”

Yahiko: “Wh-What?!”

Natsuki: “Impossible.”

Iki thought, ‘E-Every chaplet? Does he possibly have it? Does he have the Lost Chaplet?’

Isara whispered, “Every chaplet? Wow, he’s amazing.”

He created 5 Demise Chaplets out of nowhere and threw them at Agatha, but even if she picked them up and used them, they wouldn’t work. Chaplets made by Kazuki could only be used by him.

She became frustrated, but still in her cocky voice, she made it clear that only 2 people could enter.

Kazuki stepped forward with Sayo and moved onwards without hesitation. “Everyone. Please wait for me. This girl asked me to do this, so I will take her with. Please go outside and we will be there shortly,” Kazuki said with pride and passion.

At the cell door, Aamon stood there banging his head against the wall, no different than the last time Sayo visited him. He didn’t even pay attention to either of them.

Kazuki: “I see. I could already tell from a distance. I am sorry Miss Sayo, but this will take some time, and I don’t even know if I can do it. This man has powers from the Time God. It is not in his sword, but engraved in his body. The Time God is an entity that looks over the 9 Worlds of Protrations. I do not wish to go further into the explanation, but he sacrificed those powers from the Time God it looks like, which made him go mad. I sense time ticking down inside his mind, slowly chipping away at his mana core.”

Sayo: “I-Is there something you can do sir? Please, anything. Can you defeat the Time God?”

Kazuki: “I do not know. I think that is something even I would struggle against. However, even if I do defeat the Time God, then I bear the responsibility of looking over the Worlds. I do not wish to do that. It is true that I have strength from multiple worlds, but that is not my goal. Although, I may be able to do something. I don’t know if it will work, but it is an option.”

He continued to speak and chanted out, “The moon lit ablaze in the sky as the stars follow in its guidance. Illuminate the night further as the day leads an endless cycle.”

He places his finger on the front of the cage, creating a straight line of mana that went directly to Aamon’s head. He pulsated for a second, stopping himself from banging his head against the wall, but then went back to doing it.

Sayo: “Did it work?”

Kazuki: “Sort of. I tried to Halt time inside his body to preserve his mind, but something special has to happen for him to snap back to his original self. Only time will tell. Come, let’s meet the others.”

Ichika: “Goodluck, S-A-Y-O. Poor little girl. Wah, wah, wah! Poor Aamon. He will never recover. I should just kill him now, shouldn’t I?”

Kazuki: “Thank you for allowing us in here. We will see you around, miss.”

Ichika: “Huh? You freak…”

Agatha: “Master, how did it go?”

Iki: “Is Aamon back.”

Sayo began to cry, which was a tellsign that even Kazuki could not bring him back.

Kento: “I knew he was useless.”

Natsuki: “Sir Kazuki. If I may ask, you said you have control over every chaplet. Does that include the Time Chaplet?”

Kazuki: “Indeed.”

Natsuki: “Y-You do? Then why not freeze time so we can kill these entities.”

Kazuki: “Hmm, that is a splendid idea. I think I shall do it.”

They didn’t believe that he would do this, but he pulled out a Time Chaplet and froze time completely, however as he did, he stared directly at Iki and activated it.

Of course, Kazuki and Iki were the only 2 now that evaded the Time Chaplet’s effects.

Kazuki: “You are the only one able to move. I see.”

Iki: “Don’t act like that’s a secret. You obviously knew that. Besides, everyone here already knows my story.”

Kazuki: “Is that so? I do not like to use the Time Chaplet because believe it or not, it puts a heavy toll on me. And, it inches the clock down till the Time God comes down here. Less than a year now. Well, disregard that. I was using a Thinker Chaplet earlier, I couldn’t help but notice that you were thinking something quite special. The Lost Chaplet? What do you mean by that?”

Iki: “Reading my mind, huh? I think you should leave your thoughts to yourself.”

Kazuki: “I do apologize, but I just couldn’t help but ask you about this. I control all 70 chaplets, but I have never heard of this Lost Chaplet? Is it new in this era?”

Iki: “You think I didn’t have a Thinker Chaplet activated too? Why’d you lie about that?”

Kazuki: “Ah, you are very smart indeed. I assume the Dark Mold has given you great strength as well.”

Iki: “Start talking. I don’t like you. I know who you are. You may not remember me, but I remember you. You killed everyone that day. I hated you at the time, but I’m grateful for what you did. However, how come my father is still alive?! Why couldn’t you kill him?!”

Kazuki: “Hmm, I don’t quite remember all of that day, but there was someone who was pretty strong. I thought I finished him off, but I guess I did not. That may have been your father, but I’m sure I killed the leader. I wonder…Ah well, I will just have to do it again. After all, your friends need my help and I must not let them down.”

Iki: “Screw that! What do you know about the Lost Chaplet?! Tell me! I need to bring my brother back! Can it bring him back!”

Kazuki: “Ah, I see. That is a good reason. Let me tell you this. I do not have control over the Lost Chaplet, however it does exist. After all, I created it.”

Iki: “Y-Y-You created it?”

Kazuki: “Indeed. It is a chaplet that grants any one wish. It is extremely dangerous and I made it for the sole purpose of defeating the Time God in case things went south. However, it called out to me as if it had a soul and asked me for a wish. I did not think I could grant the wish, but since I created it, I could give it a wish. I couldn’t deny this, so I granted it.”

Iki: “You truly are a fool. You idiot! What was the wish?! Where is it now?!”

Kazuki: “It wished to be human. It did not want to be an object any longer. It wanted flesh and blood and to have friends most of all. I still remember it to this day. The name of that person is…Saikou.”
