Chapter 62:

Epilogue

God Games

Falsity and Justice played their game, her everlasting dark room embracing them as they delved into each other's minds.

"It has been a while; I thought, when I forfeited, that you would be already in control of everything at this point," Justice sighed out, moving a pawn.

Falsity didn't react; she pointed her hand towards the appearance of the door within her room, movements slow and deliberate.

"Took a while. How does it feel being up here? Did you make friends?" Her tone took on a bit of mockery.

A cold monotone voice spoke out, "No, I just went to ensure everything is ready. My status as a goddess is now completely in place with both the deities and also management."

"Gluttony, that name really does fit you. You consumed so much that you became something no one could predict." Falsity chuckled to herself.

Gluttony doesn't reply. She walks up to the game before sitting down in her own dark red chair at the side of the game.

"goddes-"

"Falsity, if you call me a goddess, it will be weird in public and doesn't sit right," she corrected quickly.

Gluttony nodded before sighing out and continuing, "Falsity, have you done what you wanted with Toki?"

"He hates me; hatred is a powerful tool for him now, especially considering that once everything resets. He will have no one, not even his girlfriend or whatever they are."

Gluttony nodded before closing her eyes. "That is my next question. I promised to keep her safe."

"She is safe; she won't die like promised. Even I can't break the contract we put in place." She reassured her before planting her piece towards Justice's king.

"Ah," there was a flicker of annoyance from Justice, seeing that there was actually a tough situation.

"That's why you should focus more on the game than peeking in on our conversation," Falsity smirked.

Justice tapped her piece slowly. "I think you should forfeit. Considering our last game"

"Dirty tricks, dirty tricks. Someone so bent on justice and fairness, but only uses it now where it benefits herself." Falsity sighed before planting her king down.

Justice didn't smile. She knew there was no other choice; it was fair.

"Gluttony, make sure to find representatives. "Welcome to part two of my plan."

Falsity smiled towards her.
