No turning back...

This guy knew the truth.
He knew he wouldn't have a body if he returned to Earth, and yet, he seemed to be okay with it.

Leonel: "Are you saying you are going to murder people just so you can live as a ghost in our world!? That makes no sense!"

Bald Bastard: "That's something a young one like you would never understand. I've been stuck in this world for decades, suffering every single day. If killing a few people allows me to return to our world, then that's fine with me. I no longer care about anything else; I just want to go back to Earth. Even if I'm nothing but a ghost, even if people can't see me, even if people can't hear me, I will still be there. My neighborhood probably still exists. My friends and even my family are probably still alive. I will do anything to return, and you are not going to stop me."

The bald bastard then pulled out a single blue crystal from his backpack.
We knew what he was going to do, but there was no way to stop it.
He threw the crystal into the lava, and a giant Nara emerged from it.

Bald Bastard: "I will get rid of the annoying dragongirls, and then, one of you is going to die for my goal."

The giant Nara was a six-meter-tall, bulky humanoid with large spikes covering its body.

Bald Bastard: "Have fun with the Armored Giant."

The Nara lifted both of its arms and tried to crush Faylinn and Astra, but they dodged the attack with ease.

Bald Bastard: "Oh, I forgot to mention, those large spikes on the Armored Giant are actually something resembling acid cannons. That's the main weakness of those girls, right?"

Leonel: "Everyone, get ready to move when I give the order!"

Bald Bastard: "Still thinking you can win, huh?"

The giant Nara then shot acid from its large spikes in all directions. Faylinn managed to dodge all the acid shots, but Astra was hit in her right leg and fell.

Faylinn: "Astraaa, run!"

The giant tried to crush Astra with its fists while I stood staring, waiting for the moment when I would finally be useful in this battle.
Faylinn stepped up and tried to stop the Nara's fist with her hands.

We needed to wait until the girls either defeated the Nara or pushed it aside.
But now, that seemed like an impossible mission.

While Faylinn struggled to hold back the Nara's crushing fist, we heard a gunshot.

The bald bastard fired at Faylinn, hitting her in the left leg. He shot again at the same leg, but she endured it and tried to keep the Nara's giant fist away from Astra.

This was getting ugly; we needed to change our plan right away, or they were going to die.

I grabbed a Molotov bomb, lit it, and threw it at the bald bastard.
I knew I wasn't going to hit him; I just needed to distract him from firing at Faylinn.
Of course, he dodged it, and the bomb landed on the ground right next to him.
A little fire didn't affect him; he had a mecha-leg made of azurium, after all.

Astra tried to step away, but the Nara used its other fist to attempt to crush her.
Now both of them were wounded, raising their arms to hold back the enemy's fists.
The situation was getting worse every second.

"There might be a way out," Astra said to Faylinn, "but there is no guarantee it will work. And even if it does, there is no turning back."

Faylinn: "If we don't do that, then Leo is going to die. We can't let that happen."

What were they thinking?

Another gunshot was heard. This time, he fired at Astra's chest.

That's when Astra grabbed Faylinn's left hand, and a bright orange light appeared.

Lava magic? How were they planning on using it in this situation?

Faylinn: "Leo, get ready; you will be given a chance to end this!"

I thought it was just lava magic, but this time, the orange light kept growing more intense, eventually covering their entire bodies.
Three more gunshots were heard.
I couldn't see the girls anymore, just this huge, intense orange light.
Eventually, the light began to vanish, revealing something I would have never dreamed of.
Something that could have easily been described as a beauty out of this world had appeared in front of us.
