[Anime Review] - Fermat Kitchen

This might shock you. I never watch Food Wars, so this is my first time watching cooking anime.
And to that, I say I enjoy it more than I should've. Heck, even more than Fragrant Flower, Clevatess, or DanDaDan. Sorry guys, this just gives more laughs than those anime, I couldn't deny. The amount of SxM and glazing scenes in this anime makes me can't wait a week to watch it. That's why I wait for it to finish airing and binge it. Anyway, let's get on with it.

How did I find this?
It's on Anione Asia's anime line-up for this season.

Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?)
I never watch Food Wars. I thought I wanted to watch this first before watching the best anime in this genre.

The review;
Plot/Story
Basically, a guy likes math so much that he uses his genius thinking and applies it to his cooking technique. Then he got a job in a Michelin-starred restaurant to be the best chef in Tokyo.
I know, as generic as it sounds, when I heard the term MATH, I couldn't resist. That is my favorite subject at school, and I'm curious how they make it into cooking because, as far as I know, cooking uses physics and biology, not math. But lo and behold, I was surprised it actually worked in an anime format.
Though tbh with you after watching, I love the SxM and glazing scenes more than the actual cooking. Kai and Hirose were extremely fond of Gaku, and Gaku accepted it very quickly. It was so much fun to see. 🤣

Character
Gaku, as a character, is very relatable, for me at least. I am getting a good vibe whenever Gaku uses his math skills to make his food. It is so fun to watch.
Then we got Kai. Kai was... an interesting character to say the least. I sometimes hate how he treats Gaku, but here is the thing! Gaku actually loves it. He accepted it very quickly, because he knew that what Kai did to him would train him to be a better chef. That's the problem there. Lol
If I were Gaku, I would be more up front with Kai and give him a piece of my mind, but Gaku was not me. He dealt it more chickenly. He tried to hide, then when he got back, BANG! He accepts it. 🤣
Honestly, it makes the show more fun to watch, NGL.

Other than those two, I like most of the characters. I thought Hirose was going to be a douchebag, but no. He's actually cool with Gaku.
Then the "rivalry" between Kagura and Yui, oh my lord, that was fun. I said "rivalry", but I think Yui will win because she has been with Gaku longer than Kagura.

Anyway...

OST/SFX
I love both the OP and ED. They are both fun and very cheerful.
The OST is also good, not too bad.

Animation
Just watchable. I like how they treat the aura whenever one of them is doing aura farming, but other than that, nothing too special about it. It's just fun to watch.

VA
Two Thumbs up!
