The Final Battles of the Final War: Part II

"YOU HAVE BOTH DARED TO ATTEMPT TO USURP AND DESTROY THE VERY BONDS OF TRADITION AND DIVINITY FAR OLDER THAN HUMANITY ITSELF, SLAYER QUEEN AND SORCERESS QUEEN! FOR THAT, NEITHER OF YOU, NOR YOUR FORCES SHALL NEVER LEAVE THIS REALM!"

Haruto boomed to both of them psychically as Kimi and Kana each flinched before regaining their composure. They nodded to each other and stared at Haruto, taking a few breaths before they both replied. 

"You'll never win! We never asked for any of this - and none of those behind us ever asked for any of this - and you're going to pay for your sins at our hands!"

Kimi and Kana responded psychically as they then stepped back, with Kimi gripping her sword and Kana's hands and eyes each glowing with white light as they looked at Haruto, ready. The exact number of their enchanted forces wasn't clear - but they could see that they outnumbered Haruto's, and the fact that Kimi had used a Sorcerers and Slayers card to enchant them meant that they'd be able to remained disciplined and focused int he face of what each of them were sure was going to be a divine onslaught the likes of which they had never seen yet! 

"DEFIANT ARROGANCE! ATTACK THEM!"

Haruto yelled as his forces of light and energy surged forward. They did't walk on the ground - instead walking through the air and hovering swiftly at the same time, that was what their movement style could best be described as. While the distance was rapidly closing between the forces of Haruto and those of Kimi and Kana, Kana swiftly swept her hands outwards - causing a surge of light energy to fly into the ranks of her and Kimi's forces. This caused their swords to glow with a new white light, and as darkness began to fall, this image illuminated the evening sky as Kimi then turned to Kana, as she was sincerely impressed by this display.

"What did you do!? I mean - what will that magic do?"

Kimi stated as she nodded to Kana, still looking at the now-enchanted sword-wielding ranks of their forces behind them as Haruto's forces surged forward, glowing within the darkening sky as they surged forward relentlessly. Kimi prepared her sword as Kana further fueled her magical powers - ready for the moment of attack that was rapidly approaching. The approaching forces were eerily silent, a stark contrast when compared to their mystical and intimidating light and energy forms. 

"You'll see in a moment! Don't worry - we'll make it through this!"

Kana replied - just as the forces of Haruto crashed into their own, and as Kana briefly held onto the blade of Kimi's sword. The same light that appeared on the blades of the swords that were identical to hers used by their Common Folk, now appeared on her own sword - and its power came cleat when she thrust her blade straight into one of the light and energy figures - who burst into an immense flash of light.

"WWWWWWSSSSSHHHH"

That was the sound that erupted as the first rank of Kimi and Kana's forces slashed downwards and then upwards in one continuous strike! More flashes of light boomed and vanished almost instantly as the blades of the enchanted swords wielded by Kimi and Kana's enchanted Common Folk made contact with their supernatural targets! Kimi looked at Kana and nodded, then going back to back with her as they spun around in unison, with Kana throwing flashes and then bolts of light energy, causing more of Haruto's forces to go up in flashes of light as the sky continued to darken, with the many flashes light illuminating the night sky as the battle raged on!

The flashes of light vanishing into the night sky weren't only coming from Haruto's side, but from Kimi's and Kana's side as well. Fortunately for them - the enchantment that Kimi had placed over the organized Common Folk under her and Kana's command prevented any disorganization or loss of cohesion among their ranks. As the first ranks of Kimi's and Kana's forces became flashes of light, the next rank stepped up and made the same downward to upward slashing motions, causing masses of flashes of light on Haruto's side of the battlefield - a battlefield that was gradually darkening to the point of becoming pitch black. 

Kimi turned to Kana as they kept up their onslaught against the seemingly endless forces of Haruto - but neither of them felt tired. They knew that they should've been, but they simply kept on fighting, Kimi slashing and Kana throwing bolts of light energy! Kimi noticed that her new armor felt even lighter and more durable than the armor that she had before, which in a moment of relief after turning yet another one of Haruto's forces into flashes of light, she took a moment to admire. Kana smiled at her as they kept up their back to back fighting under the pitch black night sky, while their forces held their line, the ranks further to the rear replacing the frontal ranks as they fell and turned into flashes of light. The battle felt endless - that was until a single burst and then flash of light went up into the night sky!

"WOOSH!"

That was the noise as the rest of Haruto's forces disappeared - turning into one massive flash of light as it went up into the sky, illuminating Haruto in his wingless dragon form as a massive, perfectly spherical ball of lightning and light energy emerged within his two mouths and charged as Kimi and Kana turned to each other, and then to their remaining forces behind them, which from what they could tell with the limited light shining upon the battlefield - looked to be at more than half, but they couldn't see, nor did they have time to take in any more of a detailed view and survey.

"Brace for impact!"

Kimi yelled as she raised her sword and Kana once again threw out a blast of light around them - forming a glowing shield made out of white, light energy as Haruto released the ball of light energy towards them - basting Kimi, Kana, and their forces back as they both fell to the ground with a thud, while their forces silently fell backwards, though thanks to the enchantment over them - they didn't react, instead standing up quickly enough as Kimi turned to Kana, nodding and seeing if she was alright, if she had survived the impact!?

"Kana! Kana can you hear me!?"

Kimi let out as she got up, her voice booming but distorted, as the energy sphere blast had caused a sonic blast as well. As her hearing came back, Kimi saw that Kana was indeed fine, nodding to Kimi as she stroked her hair, smiling as best she could while she got up alongside Kimi.

"I'm here, now what's the plan!?"

Kana asked as Haruto charged toward them in his wingless dragon form, roaring at them as he let out yet another blast of spherical energy - though this one was larger, and it also had a longer charging time!

"Look out!" 

Kimi yelled as she looked to Kana - who once again summoned a shield of light energy, which was far more substantial than the last one, and held out in a much more effective manner this time, pushing them back, but not knocking them down. The same couldn't be said for more of their forces behind them - who were now turned into flashes of light that further illuminated the pitch black night sky for an adrenaline-fueled moment.

"Now!"

Kimi yelled as she surged forward with Kana towards Haruto! Kana rapidly threw more bolts of light energy right at Haruto, which even though these magical attacks did a minuscule amount of damage to him - they kept him distracted and occupied with having to saw them out of the way with his pointed tail, while he also recharged his energy sphere blast! 

At the same time, Kimi studied if Haruto was showing any signs of wearing down, or any signs of weakness? She knew that Kana could keep him distracted for nearly an eternity - but that she wouldn't have the luxury of time to deliver the final blow! As she looked back at their still vast remaining forces of enchanted Common Folk - Kimi nodded to herself, as she'd gotten an idea on how to defeat Haruto! 

"Kana! I need you to charge myself and out forces with as much light energy that you can, use all of the power that you can as the Sorceress Queen!"

Kimi yelled over the sound of the concentrated but still extremely intense battle! Kana nodded, fully trusting and loving Kimi, as she then put her feet together and stuck her arms out slowly, as her light energy charged to previously unseen levels! As Kana charged her full magical power, she began to levitate, and then rise slowly but deliberately above Kimi and their enchanted Common Folk as she continued to glow like the moon in the midst of that pitch black battlefield, illuminating it! When Kana was hovering over the center of the vast, orderly formations of enchanted Common Folk, she thrust her arms outward as a shower of light engulfed Kimi and their forces in white magical light!

"WE STRIKE TOGETHER! WE STRIKE AS ONE! WE STRIKE FOR OUR FREEDOM! WE STRIKE - FOR OUR LIVES! NOW, ATTACK AS ONE!"

Kimi yelled as her body and mind surged with adrenaline, desperation, and a sincere love for Kana! Kimi then positioned her sword in a thrusting position as her and Kana's enchanted Common Folk did the same in perfect unison, while above them, a detailed figure of Kimi in that position with her enchanted sword made of pure magical light energy, and that was the size of Haruto appeared: it was an ultimate construct, demonstrating the full magical ability of Kana when infused with Kimi's true love!

As Kimi then thrust her sword forward in the air and their Common Folk followed suit in perfect unison - the construct of Kimi pierced their perfect, vastly enlarged replica sword made of magical light, into Haruto's center! 

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Haruto roared as he then exploded in a blast of light energy, a blast so bright that it momentarily made the pitch black night sky as bright as the day! And just as quickly, he was gone and the pitch black night sky had returned, as the construct faded into the night.

Haruto - was vanquished.
