Preparing for Jeremiah

“Ok, split up into groups I'll train sword fighting, Fay you can train in the art of defense, the others can help train manipulations.” Viltro said.

“Ok Sounds good, anyone who can manipulate at a strong level please come with me” Mr.Oracle said.

Isha headed that way.

“Well that's me Zero” Vero said.

“Anyone who can’t fully manipulate comes with me," Ms.Barir said.

Zero started to head with her viltro, grabbed him.

“No, you need to train with me first, ok?”

“Alright.”

Rykar and Sierrna left with Ms.Barir.

“Rhyunous go with Fay to learn ok?”

“Ok dad I'll see you later.”

“Ok Zero let's get ready, I'll teach you the basics of sword fighting.”

“How come we are not working on my manipulation?”

“Because we don't know what it is and there's not enough time. Ok. First thing first, raise your hand and summon demorshia?”

“Um ok”

Zero raised his hand but nothing happened. Viltro was confused.

“Ok never mind press the tile to your left.”

Zero did the ground, opened up and revealed a sword.

“It's only made of iron so it'll work for now. Hold it with two hands till you get used to the weight. Now come at me.”

Zero rushed viltro. He swung at Viltro he missed. Viltro slammed down with his elbow on Zero. Zero fell down.

“Ow.”

“Don't rush your opponent thinking you'll just swing and win. You have to study how your opponent moves, attacks , defends and evades. Just keep trying to get familiar with a sword first Zero.”

Meanwhile Ms. Barir welcomes students.

“I'm going to teach you how to fully manipulate your power. First think about what you can manipulate then focus on it.”

Some students start to have some power work.

“Good now, think about a clear goal in mind and an objective.”

The students all think of one goal: protecting Zero.

Sierrna unleashes a tidal wave of water. Rykar unleashes a giant fireball. The fire and water clashes both in an even stalemate. The blows knock everyone back. Ms Barir faces the two opposing forces and says dispeal, the powers fade away.

“Is everyone ok?”

All the students stand in shock at the power that Sierrna and Rykar displayed.

“Ok everyone let's practice controlling the power we send out. Do the same thing we did but this time focus on feeling the energy and controlling the output.”

Meanwhile with Fay

“Ok students I’ll train you how to defend and evade. Rhyunous pay attention to the others you'll just watch for now ok.”

“Alright”

Fay sent out her shadows and started to chase all the students.

“Avoid these shadows or defend the choice is yours.”

Some students ran but were all out and hit by the shadows, the ones who defended used their powers to make shields they were shattered by the shadows.

“Ok everyone, that's enough for today. Everyone meet here tomorrow for the same lessons till we approve you to learn another's course.”

All the students left except Vero, Val, Arden and Melody.

“Hey, what are you guys still doing here?”

“Zero have you heard the legend of the order of knights?” Val asked.

“No, what is that?”

“Well tell you over some food, let's all go hangout.” Vero said.

“Ok can Sierrna, Rykar, Rhyunous and Isha come.”

“Of course we want the whole family to hang out and let go.” Arden said.

“I heard there's a really great restaurant.” Melody said.

The group heads to the restaurant. The group enters and a waiter comes to them a party of nine right this way. They all sit down and order food.

“So what's the legend?” Zero asked.

“There's a legend that every hundred years an order is formed of knights whose sole goal is to dethrone the king of the dimensions and place a new king that will free everyone. The last knights we had were killed here nine years ago.”

“Wow that's cool so who's the new order?”

“That's the thing to be even acknowledged as a candidate for the throne you have to beat the strongest angel and have him declare you the next heir.”

“Oh that's cool,” Zero said.

“Zero?” Val said.

“Yeah”
“We're telling you this because we believe you're the next heir that will defeat king Thanatos and free the dimensions!”

“What?? How can I be the next one? I'm just a kid.”

“No”

Arden chimed in,

“You've already proven you're much stronger and different to us, you've freed all the slaves, heck you even cleared the brand's trial.” Vero said,

“Zero , we all truly believe you will be the next King.”

“Isn't your dream to free everyone?” Sierrna asked?

“You know it is,” Zero exclaimed.

“Alright”

Rykar, got up on the table and shouted,

“If I could have everyone's attention we are the Dynosian family and today we announce we will defeat Thanatos and I will be the new king of dimensions.”

The diners all looked and said,

“Yeah right kid, you hahahaha.”

Rykar was then pulled down by Sierrna.

“Stop making a scene.”

“It's ok Sierrna.” Zero said.

“My name is Zero Dynosian and I swear my life right here and now I'll defeat the angels and become the next heir to the throne and I will free the dimensions. You have all suffered enough and I'm tired of seeing the pain he caused. I will defeat Thanatos even if I lose myself in the process I will free you all!!!”

Everyone in the diner all looked at him, a man familiar to Zero stood up.

“What makes you different from all the others boy?”

“I-”

Val interrupted,

“He freed all the slaves and took on a Thanatos brand and is still here, that's enough proof.”

“It was you who freed everyone?”

“Yes.”

“So you're the one who took me out of my job, Why didn't you say hey waiter id like to pay for their meal.”

“Of course sir.”

“Hey kid i'll be expecting great things from you we all are.”

Isha got up,

“Let's make a bond right now. We may not be officially one yet but let's form the order of Dynosian Knights right now.”

They all grabbed a cup and said,

“To freedom,”

and clicked all the cups together.

“Well we better all head home. See you guys tomorrow.”

The group heads home. Viltro is there with Fay.

“Hello everyone.” Viltro said.

Everyone said,

“Hello.”

Viltro smiled because everyone said hi. Fay asked Zero to talk real quick.

“Yes Fay”.

“You know Vero is my son.”

“Yes”

“Please make me a promise that in the next coming days and from now on you'll protect him.”

“I promise you Fay Sophos, I'll protect him in your stead if anything would happen.”

“Thank you” Fay started crying. Fay leaves.

Zero enters the house where everyone is eating food.

“So did anything exciting happen today?”

“You were there like ninety percent of the time,” Isha said.

“Yes but I wasn't for ten.” Viltro said.

Rhyunous said,

“We formed the order of Dynosian knights.”

Viltro, shocked by that news.

“I see, so I'm guessing your minds made up then.”

They all looked at viltro and said,

“Yes.”

Viltro has a flashback for a moment to the last knight's group.

“Ok then let's all do our best. Tomorrow's training will be tougher.”

“Ok goodnight dad,” said Rhyunous and went to bed.

Sierrna got up and handed Viltro a D-Device.

“What's this?”

“It's a device I built. You can look up anything and you can even call us to talk whenever. There's nine people you can call right now.”

“Why are you giving it to me?”

“A father worries for his kids now you won't have to. Goodnight.”

Sierrna leaves and heads upstairs.

Rykar gets up,

“See, I told you she'd come around dad.”

Isha got up,

“I'm not there like them but, you did good, they would be proud.” Viltro smiles.

Zero gets up,

“Goodnight.”

The next day, the group meets back up at the Dynosian temple to start training.

“Today will pit you guys against each other so you can learn what it feels like to fight someone else. We will have the students watch so everyone pay attention. The matches will be randomly selected from the holo screen ok lets go, First round up is Vero vs Isha. The battle ends when one gives up. Three two one Fight.”

Isha uses her water power to fight. Vero uses his shadows to form a tidal wave to conclude with Isha’s water. They cancel each other out but then Isha launches fire at Vero. Vero uses his shadows to run away. Isha strikes the ground with lighting, making Vero fly out of his shadows. Then Isha rushes him, jumps in front of him and uses wind to push him to the ground. Vero slams to the ground. From behind Vero shadows assault Isha. She uses ice to block them. Vero then says,

“I give up.”

“Isha is the victor.”

Isha ran over to Vero and asked,

“Why did you give up?”

He responded,

“I know that you're an M-class, you'll have a way to counter my every move so it would have gone on too long.”

“I see it makes sense.”

“Besides, you're really strong. And there's another match I can't wait to watch.”

“Ok, the next match randomly selected is Rykar vs Sierrna.”

“Dont hold back sis im gonna show you the power of a future king.” 

“Yeah I'm sure, I'm gonna put you in your place.”

“Three, Two, One fight.” The announcer counted down.

Rykar and Sierrna start with using the power in a short burst to keep each other at a distance and busy. Sierrna shoots water up in the sky. Rykar takes the chance to close the gap he rushes at her with fire coating his entire fist ready to hit her. She jumps back and smiles while pointing up. Rykar looks up and sees hundreds of spears made of water start falling down. One hits the ground piercing and cracking the ground. Rykar started to form his own spears and threw them at the water spears. The battle lasted a long time each time they would think they got the upper hand the other would counter. The teachers finally called it a draw.

Zero was with Viltro his sword training had improved by a lot he was now able to hold the sword one handed.

“You're doing good now. I want you to evade or slash the rocks I send your way.”

Zero got ready to defend. Viltro launched a rock at Zero. Zero ready his blade and sliced at the rock he only cut through half the rock thus resulting in the rock hitting him.

“You ok Zero?”

“Yeah I'm fine.”

“Zero if you're really gonna become the next king I'm gonna up the task i'm gonna hurl steel at you. Do you think you'll be able to handle it?”

“Yes, I'll cut steel even if it takes all the time we have to train.”

“Ok. here it comes”

Viltro formed a steel ball and threw it and Zero. Zero swung and his sword broke and he got hit with the steel ball.

“You're using too much force to cut the steel you need to find your balance.”

Again, over and over Zero failed to cut the steel ball.

“Ok that's enough for today i'll see you at home.”

Viltro left.

Sierrna and Rykar showed up.

“Tough lesson today?”

“Yeah but I'll do it one of these days.”

Isha showed up and said,

“Hey, were all heading to the restaurant you guys coming?”

They said,

“Be right there.”

The group headed to the restaurant. The guys from before were there and paid for their meals. The man introduced himself as John from the slave camp. The group talked about their day and the fights they watched. One week later, Zero kept trying to cut steel with no success. Isha and Vero Increased their battle IQ, Rykar and Sierrna learned how to form weapons with their powers.

Today after training, Val approached Zero and asked if he wanted to go with her to find some flowers. Zero agreed. As they walked in the forest Val asked Zero if he's ever liked anyone,

“Yeah I like everyone.”

“That's not what I meant Zero, I meant more than a friend?”

Zero stopped and thought for a while

“Yes.”

“Oh who's the lucky girl?”

“I don't know it's been so long I don't remember.” “I see well here's the flowers i wanted to come get.”

“They look cool there in the shape of U”

“Yup we call them untied flowers. Legend states if you give people this you'll always cross paths no matter what.”

“Oh that's cool I'll grab a couple.”

“I was gonna grab us all”

“Oh all eleven?”

“Oh I meant the nine of us.” Who's the other two?”

“Viltro and Fay obviously. It's ok I'll grab them for them. Also Val, I'm sorry that I didn't give you the answer you wanted to hear.”

Val looked away blushing,

“It's ok Zero I understand, we better get back the others are probably at the restaurant.”

They left and headed to the restaurant where they ate and then went home.

Another week has passed, Meanwhile Zero and Viltro are training hard once again. Zero focused and controlled the swing, he cut half the steel ball.

“Zero, I want you to come at me the same way you did the steel ball. Don't worry you're not gonna hurt me”

Zero ready and rushed towards Viltro, Viltro guarded with one hand on the sword. Zero sliced right through the sword and Viltro’s arm. Viltro's arm flew in the air and landed next to him. All the students stopped what they were doing and looked at Zero and Viltro training. Zero looked in horror at what he did and started to form tears in his eyes.

“I'm sorry, I'm sorry.”

Viltro just laughed

“It's fine Zero”

He picked up his arm and put it to where the cut was made and reattached it. Everyone was shocked.

“How is that possible?”

“It's possible because he's Viltro, the immortal,” Isha said.

“Yes, did I never mention it to you guys?” Viltro asked.

Everyone screamed

“NO!!!”

“My bad, but Zero you did it you cut steel, you cut through my sword. Be proud Zero.”

Zero smiled and the rest of the students cheered!!!

The end of the day of training, Zero went over to Viltro and Fay while they were talking.

“Um excuse me i have something for you both, Zero pulled out the united flowers and gave one to each of them.”

Viltro and Fay looked at Zero and smiled and said,

“Thank you so much.”

Zero smiled,

“I'm off to the diner, bye.”

Zero leaves.

“Viltro?”

“Yes?”

“He’ll be here two days from now.”

“I know.”

“Do you think we can do this?”
“No Judge is still too strong for them but that's why I had Sierrna stay.”

Sierrna appears,

“Hello.”

“Why are you here?” Fay asked.

“I'm here to fix the bridge. It's really complicated but not for me” Sierrna was smirking.

“Oh that reminds me it's fixed but only one location can be reached it's called codename Cracked.”

“What are the chances?” Viltro said.

“What do you mean?” Sierrna asked.

“Nothing, just remembering a different time.”

“Oh Fay here I made you a D-Device.”

“Ok, tomorrow I will announce the plan then.”

Fay and Viltro leave and head home and prepare for Judge, the second strongest being alive.

The next day, Viltro announced it to the group.

“The judge was coming and he'll be here tomorrow. The plan is to have the judge try a drink that has poison in it.” A student raised his hand.

“If that doesn't work what will we do?”

“If that doesn’t work I won't lie to you a lot of you will die. But in the event it doesn't, the main priority will be to get Zero here back to the temple no matter what. Don't use teleport as the judge can sense and track it and be there before you essentially its game over. Ok everyone lets do our best. May you all live to see the next day!!!!”

Viltro raised his sword in the air.

“To war!!!!”

The students raised their weapons up in the air screamed to war at the top of their lungs. The group headed to the restaurant for the final time. Val showed up with the united flowers and gave them to everyone. The group ate and hugged each other one final time. John approached and told the group he was summoned to the UDF for a special mission.

He said,

“This will probably be the last time I'm here.”

Before the day that the judge arrives. That night everyone woke in the house and all went to lay down with Viltro. Viltro hugged them all while tears rolled down his face. He thought to himself,

I will not allow them to die like they did. I promise you Leo I won't fail the knights again.

The next morning everyone woke up and went to school and waited in position for the Judge. They went over the plan once more and got everything into position. Zero and the others meet with each other in the school and give one last reassuring smile. Then two figures appeared with three UDF S-class units. The great battle of One united high was about to begin.
