The Fateful Day

   The figures and the UDF units enter the school and head to the meeting room where Fay greets them.

“Hello Judge, welcome to One United High” Fay said.

“Thank you for having us on such short notice Fay. I trust you have the files of all the students here so we can narrow the search down?” Judge asked.

“Of course, but why not have something to drink after the long journey. ” Fay suggested. She looked at Val and gave her a signal. Val brought the Judge a drink.

“Thank you, I think I will.” The judge said with an excited tone. He drank the whole glass and then got up.

“Well thank you for the files will be back after we search through the files.” The Judge said.

Fay seemed relieved as the judge left the room a loud thud could be heard outside. Zero had run straight into the judge knocking him on his ass again.

“I'm sorry sir, I should have been looking where I'm going.” Zero sincerely said.

“It’s alright boy, by the way what's your name if i might ask? Judge inquired.

“My name is Zero Dynosian.” Zero said.

“Oh that's interesting.” The judge said. The judge picked up Zero off the floor with his gravity manipulation. He then waved and walked away. Zero entered the room where the Judge was.

“Did it work Val?” Zero asked.

Val looked at the glass and had a terrified expression on her face. She gave Zero the cup. He looked in the cup and in the cup it said nice try with a purple substance.

“He knew I tried to kill him.” Val said, terrified.

She started to shake like crazy. Fay grabbed her and reassured her it’ll be ok.

“Zero, now that he knows we move to plan B head to the gym and hide with Viltro.” Fay said with a worried tone.

“Why? He didn't seem to be in the mood to fight.” Zero said.

“He’s going outside to give the purge order.” Fay exclaimed. Zero hearing that understood and started to head to the spot where Viltro waited.

“Get the others ready Val.” Fay said.

Right, She activates her D-Device and then says

"All unit commanders, the battle has started already, everyone prepare for plan B. Fay and Val leave the room and head separate ways. Zero reaches Viltro.

“Plan A no good huh, ok come here then we can see everything with the device that sierrna made, its viewing the front of the school.” Viltro said.

Judge is seen heading out the school along with the others, Viltro gasps when he sees the other figure.

“What, is there something wrong?” Zero asked

“That other figure is the Warhammer, I'll take care of him so don't worry, under his breath not like a get a choice.” Viltro said. On the screen their watching judge starts to speak.

“He’s here, his name is Zero Dynosian. Warhammer find him and bring him to me, John head with the warhammer in case he gets distracted. You two head for the ruins. I have a feeling they plan to head through the bridge, we can't allow that.”

After issuing commands John and Warhammer head into the school, The other two UDF units head towards the ruins. Judge stands at the front of One United high's entrance and says.

“Come out, your hiding skills are lacking.” After saying that Oracle appears along with all the teachers. Oracle starts using wind to fight the judge, the other teachers all attack the judge at the same time as Oracle. They all directly hit the Judge.

“You believe you can do anything to me, it's almost amusing you believe that. You're an angel so I ask you, do you believe your faith is stronger than mine?”

Judge appears from the smoke of all the attacks unscathed, he reaches his hand up and grabs a bunch of small rocks and raises them in the air. He then points at all the teachers. In an instant all the rocks he was manipulating strike all the teachers at once in the head, killing all of them except Oracle.

“Oh it seems you survived, I'll fix that.” Judge said.

He then lifts up Oracle with his power and keeps him in the air. He then grabs all the rocks again and begins to send them all at Oracle. Over and over Oracle is struck, finally one final blow and Oracle stops struggling, Judge drops him to fall to the ground.

“That bastard.” Viltro yells. Viltro clenches his fist and punches the ground, indenting it.

Zero was shocked at what he just witnessed. They then heard someone approaching. Viltro grabs Zero and signals him to begin running soon.

“Let's check in here, Warhammer.” John said.

John opens the door to reveal Zero and Viltro. Warhammer immediately pushes John out of the way and heads straight for viltro with a fist. Viltro meets the warhammer with his own fist, they clash and the force of the clash breaks all the windows and knocks Zero down.

“Run Zero! Long time no see Warhammer don’t figure you let me not fight you and you'll just leave?”

Viltro jumped back, Warhammer started to head towards him even more relentlessly than before.

“Figured worth a shot.” Viltro Said with a disappointed tone.

Zero started to run through the halls of the top floor of the school. John gave chase after Zero. As Zero ran through the halls, lockers and doors were being flung at him by John. Zero reached the end of a hall and was slammed out the window by a door.

Moments before the event. Judge, back at the entrance, started to raise more rocks and aimed them at the top floors of the building and started to send them into the building. As the judge was destroying the top floors, he was hit by a giant boulder. He stopped using the rocks and looked where the boulder was thrown. He was shocked to see all the students in front of him.

“Stop or face the consequence of your actions!” Arden yelled who had thrown the boulder. All the students aimed at the judge with their most powerful attacks ready to strike.

“And what if I don't? What will you and your stupid followers do?” Judge asked.

“Will kill you right now all 11,430. You can't survive all the attacks at once.” Melody shouted.

“Care to test your theory, I will kill Zero Dynosian and retrieve the sword you will not stop me i'm Jeremiah the Judge!” The judge shouted.

As he said that all the students fired all their attacks, streaks of lighting, flames of fire, gusts of winds and waves of water all attacked the judge at once. The students cheered after the attack. Then they realized that it did nothing to judge and they quickly fired all their attacks again. Nothing happened, they attempted a third volley, But they soon realized they couldn't move at all anymore.

“That's enough of that.”

The Judge said while opening his book. And started to read.

“Thou shall be forgiven if thy name is not stated in thy passages. Although thou shalt be forgiven thou shall not attack unless attacked. Ok what's your name, the person who threw a boulder at me?” Arden hesitated to say anything.

“His name is Arden im Melody and the one who poisoned you is Val.” Melody said. Judge looked at his book with a smile.

“Your name isn't here, goodbye.”

Suddenly the judge lifted his hand and all the students on the left side became blood puddles. The students started to scream and panic as they stayed there frozen under judges' gravity. Judge lifts his hand again but before he lifts it all the way he is interrupted by a window breaking and someone falling out. It's Zero he fell out of the top of the building landing right in front of the judge! John descends next to Zero. Judge starts to come down and releases the students from the gravity. All the students watch in horror as Judge approaches Zero. As Judge approaches Zero when suddenly two figures come flying out of the building, Viltro and Warhammer are still punching each other while falling. They landed between Zero and the judge and were still fighting. Then a figure appeared behind the judge. Judge turned around to an angered Fay.

“Judge, we need to have a talk.” Fay was covered in the dark aura from before.

“I see that you have become a traitor as well.” Judge said. While having an aura surrounding him as well.

“I'm not here to fight you judge, I want to ask why the Dynosian name is so important?” Fay asked.

“That name belonged to the one who almost killed king Thanatos, King Dynosian. The history has been lost but those who were there remember it well. His son to this day is a pain in the king's ass but the name gives hope to the people more than anything.”

As they talk Zero is brought into the ground by a shadow. Zero reappears behind the school with Vero.

“Vero, thanks for saving me, but I didn't know I could go into your shadows.” Zero said.

“Yup it works like that as long as the user is strong enough to be able to do it, anyways enough chit chat. get heading to the temple. I'll meet you there.” Vero said.

Zero started to run towards the temple. John sensed Zero left and started to chase him through the city riding steel like a wave. Meanwhile, back near the temple Sierrna and Rykar are in battle with other two S rank UDF units. Sierrna is in battle with a tall girl who has water manipulations. They clash wave after wave of water. Rykar is in battle with a tall boy that looks kinda like the woman fighting Sierrna. Rykar is firing fireballs at the other man but he's firing fireballs right back over and over. The man summoned a sword made of fire with his manipulation and rushed after Rykar. Rykar summoned two swords with his manipulations and clashed with the other person's sword. The man smiled and slashed more ferociously. Rykar tried his hardest to defend but with the constant onslaught of attacks, his swords were shattered and the man jumped back and casted massive fireball that consumed Rykar!

“Rykar!!!!!” Sierrna shouted.

But the girl she was fighting took the opportunity while Sierrna was distracted. The woman threw a water spear piercing her side damaging Sierrna. Sierrna fell down to her knees and coughed up some blood. The girl went and sliced Sierrna’s arm at the top of the shoulder. Sierrna grabbed the top of her arm where it was cut. The man who killed Rykar headed over to sierrna and the girl. Inside the flame, it starts to swirl into Rykar. He stands and starts to sprint out of the fire holding a small orb-like structure in his hand, blood dripping down his head. The girl looks and tries to warn the man it's too late. Rykar reaches the man and hits him with the orb,

“Infernal Eruption!!!” Rykar screamed.

Out from the orb comes a flame hotter than any before melting the person and blasting away everything in its path. While he's melting he shouts in pain yelling.

“I'm sorry sis.”

Rykar after using the attack falls down and faints. The girl that the man shouted to looked in horror and started to sprint for the unconscious Rykar. She summoned hundreds of water spears and sent them towards Rykar. Sierrna summons a giant wall of water one last time before fainting tears in her eyes as she closes, although trying to keep them up she passes out from exhaustion. The girl summoned more spears again at Rykar. With both Rykar and Sierrna down for the count she throws them at both of them. The spears hit both of them. Blood splatters all over. The woman, enraged, summons one final volley. The ring that Val has starts to dim. The woman flings the final volley. Then all the sudden rock walls show up and block all the volleys. The woman who looked shocked and standing in front of the wall was Isha!

“You hurt my family, you will now pay.” Isha stated.

The woman summoned a lance and attacked Isha. Isha avoided it and summoned a lighting sword and clashed with lance breaking it. Isha then used wind like little knives and sent them towards the woman cutting her in all areas of her body, Isha then summoned a giant lightning bolt and then coated it in fire along with wind to increase the flame. Isha threw it at the woman she tried to defend with a water wall but Isha’s Bolt pierced right threw the water wall striking her straight on the woman fell down. The woman started to cast something. Isha looked at her and waved her hand. All the blood came rushing out of the woman. Isha looked shocked.

“I see you killed yourself to avoid embarrassment.” Isha said.

She went over and checked on Rykar and Sierrna. They were both alive; she used some healing manipulations to heal the two and then brought them to the temple.

Back with Judge, Fay and Judge have finished their conversation. As viltro and Warhammer fight, Viltro summons an aura around his fist striking Warhammer down and running off towards Zero. Warhammer got up and tried to go after him. The judge stopped him. A figure appeared in front of them.

“So you're here also this will be interesting.” Judge said.

“I've come to kill Fay the enslaver for betraying our order.” The figure said.

“Come at me then I wont be an easy kill apostle of thanatos.” Fay said while summoning shadows. The apostle and Fay began fighting, clashing shadows after shadows.

The Judge leaves with Warhammer heading towards the temple.

While Zero is running towards the temple, John is slashing everyone down who gets in the way of him and Zero. Zero can see the stairs to the temple, As he reaches the stairs he's pierced by a metal scrap and sent falling down the stairs. John descends down the stairs and corners Zero and encloses them in a metal box.

“You're done running boy.” John said.

He formed a sword from the metal. He started to attack Zero as he was getting up and kicked him in the ribs sending him flying into the metal wall. He falls from the wall being rushed once again by John sent into another wall. Over and over again John kicked Zero into the walls.

“How is he so much faster and his strength is on a different level then what viltro trained me on. I can't keep up with how fast he’ll hit me let alone dodge.” Zero thought to himself.

“Won't you give up Zero and come with us to end this suffering, You're no match for me let alone judge and warhammer how can you hope to win if you cant even fight back.” John shouted.

Zero stood up from the last wall and closed his eyes and remembered back to Viltro’s training.

“You can do anything Zero as long as your body and mind are one, no foe can be too fast to see, no foe can be too hard to fight back. Just believe in yourself.”

Zero started to look more serious, John rushed at him again, Zero avoided it, John, shocked by it, started to swing wildly, Zero constantly avoided over and over again infuriating John. Finally Zero slams his leg down on the sword and snaps it in half. John, now shocked, summons two more swords and rushes Zero, Zero keeps dodging.

“I can't keep dodging forever. I need a way to fight back.” Zero thought to himself then all of the sudden Zero hears a voice call out to him

“Summon me Zero, call upon my name Demorshia.” The voice echoed in Zeros' mind.

“Demorshia I call upon you please come to my aid!” Zero shouted while holding out his hand. A left curved like sword started to materialize in his hand.

John was shocked and petrified with fear.

“Why do you keep fighting, please just die.” John shouted while lunging towards Zero.

Zero slashed Demorshia with grace breaking both swords into pieces. John summoned more and slashed at Zero again. Zero swung Demorshia again, breaking the swords again. John has a flashback to when he fought an ancient sword. John stopped summoning swords and started to summon spikes from the wall, Zero sliced all the spikes that kept coming at him getting faster with each slice. John surrounded Zero with spikes for all directions and sent them all at once. Zero swung in a spiral cutting all the spikes. John stopped trying to attack and just looked at Zero with amazement and dropped the metal box around them.

“Go Zero, I see there's no stopping you anymore.” John said.

Zero turned around and headed towards the temple which was just now materializing four towers and a beam in the center opening a portal. Zero sees Isha, Rykar and Sierrna along with Rhyunous. Just as he's approaching Viltro appears in front of them.

“Quick you need to go, the judge will be here soon. But please leave Rhyunous with me so I can protect him.” Viltro asked.

“Of course I don't want him in harm's way thank you for that viltro.” Zero said.

Rhyunous runs over and hugs Zero and the rest while tears fall from their eyes. To them not knowing would be the last time they would all be together one last time. Viltro started the portal; it would take three minutes to be ready. Then a portal opened up and out came the judge, In front of John.

“Good work John, you may rest, I will deal with the rest.” Judge said.

John flung metal at the judge. Judge turned around to face John.

“What is the meaning of this John?” Judge asked with an angry expression.

“I will not let you harm them anymore!!!” John said.

John summoned all the metal in the area and started to fight the judge. Judge stopped the metal from reaching him. John released an aura and the metal started to move faster at the judge. Judge at the sudden speed enhancement was caught off guard.

“I know you, You're the cowardly king who ran away nine years ago.” Judge said with a smile.

“I never thought I would be able to atone for that sin but I finally found a way I will give my life to protect them!” John said while summoning more metal into an armor around him.

Judge rushed John slicing at him with the air cutting the metal in half john counter with the metal forming it around him once more. Judge kept chipping away at the metal but again John kept reinforcing the metal. Viltro realizing what he's doing tells the group.

“No, he can't sacrifice himself for us.” Zero said. Zero tried to run to him but Viltro grabbed him.

“Don't make his sacrifice worthless Zero.” Viltro said.

Zero stopped and went back waiting for the portal to be ready. While Judge was constantly attacking John he broke through and sliced John in the heart. John’s life flashed before his eyes to that day.

John was sitting on a throne surrounded by his knights when all of the sudden a person burst through the door and was screaming.

“Thanatos is here and coming to wage war!”

“Wait this day again?” John thought to himself while reliving the day again.

“Quick everyone to the front line, we need to push him back.” John told the knights, they all left the room and went to fight. A lady in fancy armor appeared with long white-sliver like hair.

“You need to go and bring him with you. Run away, I'll stay and fight King Thanatos for you in your stead.” The woman said.

John looked at her and agreed and left the throne room, he grabbed a child's hand and brought him with them while they fled the castle.

“This is when I should have made a stand instead of being a coward.” John thought after relieving him leaving the woman. John and the kid ran as far as they could. Eventually John and the kid are attacked, John leaves the kid and runs away.

“No you coward go back don't leave him. Every since that day, I watched you from afar and hated you wouldn't ever give up every time i've tried to stop your progress you would beat the challenge and become stronger, I've always watched you all this time so this will be my final thing to protect you Zero I won't leave you like I did nine years ago I will not falter.”

John started to reach into the sky and summoned a meteorite of metal. Which he sent toward the Judge striking him all over. The judge couldn't dodge all of them, ripping his clothes to shreds revealing his chest with a giant scar down the middle. Judge infurious slammed all the rocks down and pelted John, crushing his legs and arms with the rocks then ripping them off with his gravity manipulation. John falls to the ground coughing blood up

“At least I know he'll be safe. I saved him. I'll be joining you soon. He thinks of the woman in the armor.

“Your son is safe.” John said.

Judge hearing that goes up to him and opens his book to the last page and lets him read it. John’s face turns to pure fear as he dies.

“You just read how Zero dies. Now you'll die with no hope.” Judge said while closing the book.

Judge then turned his attention to the group. Just as he started walking forward Warhammer reappeared. Vero then showed up behind the group crying and blood all over him bleeding from his head and arm.

“Zero, Zero, She's dead, they killed my mom. Fay’s dead!” Vero screamed. The rest of the group shocked by this news looked really sad.

“Who could have killed her?” Zero questioned.

“The apostle showed up and killed her. I barely escaped.” Vero said while holding his arm in pain. Zero checked the camera set up by the school and there he saw from one of the broken windows was a shadowed figure starting at Fay. Who was hanged by her own whip.

Judge smiled and ordered the Warhammer forward. Viltro stepped up and summoned a sword made of steel. The portal activated.

“Go now, escape, I'll hold off Judge and Warhammer!” Viltro screamed while rushing the Warhammer in battle.

Zero grabbed everyone and ran into the portal leaving Rhyunous behind while also leaving all their soul rings behind for them. The group escaped through the portal. Judge rushed towards the portal. Viltro was locked in battle with Warhammer and couldn't get to him. Just as Judge was reaching the portal an old man appeared with one arm wearing a cloak with only a right eye. Judge stopped right in his tracks.

“You will not go any further.” The old man said. With a threatening tone.

“I'm going to kill them.” Judge said.

“It's not written that they die here, Judge.” The old man said.

“And what if I chose to rewrite it old man?” Judge asked.

“I'll kill you right now where you stand.” The old man warned Judge with an enormous aura surrounding him. Judge was on guard and called back Warhammer. The warhammer refused, the Judge grabbed the warhammer and dragged him away from Viltro.

“We're leaving Warhammer, we can't fight Chronos.” Judge said.

He opened a portal and both him and Warhammer disappeared. Viltro looked over at Chronos.

“I didn't expect you to show up.” Viltro said.

“Well it seemed like it was the time to intervene. It's almost like the first time isn't Viltro?” Chronos said.

They both looked up to the sky. Viltro picked up Rhyunous and left to head to the remains of one united high. They arrived and saw all the destruction and death left by the judge, people crying, students trying to heal one another. Arden was seen opening up the ground, making coffin sized holes, he was burying his comrades while someone treated his severed arm. Val saw Viltro and Rhyunous; she ran over to them and hugged Rhyunous and started to cry.

“I'm so glad you're ok.” Val said, crying.

“Val, it's ok big bro protected me.” Rhyunous reassured her.

“So then it worked. Zero escaped through the portal?” Val asked.

Viltro stepped up to Val and grabbed her and brought her and Rhyunous to the center of the courtyard in the school.

“If I may have your attention. I know today seems like a tragedy and absolute loss, but he did it. Zero and the rest of the group escaped Judge. They are safe.” Viltro announced to the remaining students.

All the students that were all depressed, crying and upset. Heard viltro’s word and gave a little smile not enough to stop the awful feeling of thousands of deaths flowing over them the atmosphere was depressing but Viltro’s word lighten a little. Viltro walked over to a grave built by the students, He kneel down and prayed.

“Fay, your sacrifice wasn't in vain, your son and the rest escaped and I wish I had more time to tell you about your real dad. I'm sorry. I wasn't strong enough to fight Judge. Please forgive me.”

The students surrounded Viltro, Melody picked up Viltro off the ground.

“I'm sure she knows and don't beat yourself up Mr.Viltro. There's nothing else we could have done. We trained for a whole year and none of us could even move a muscle under Judge’s power.”

“You're right there's only one thing to do, I’ll rebuild one untied high.”

Arden with all the students chimed in,

“We will rebuild one united high, together!”
