Skylit Roses
Zhan-Shi.
The capital of the Cultivation world.
A vast and all powerful kingdom that covered most of Imperial Asia.*
The territory of Zhan-shi is evenly split between its vast number of Cultivation clans, so why don't we talk about our clans for a moment.
*Zhan-Shi is a fictional kingdom, and so this information shouldn't be taken as historically accurate.
Lee Clan
"Strive for peace and equality"
The ruling clan of Zhan-Shi, founded with permission from her husband by a princess consort who could cultivate quite well. The clan has been passed down to her and her husband's ancestors for over 15 generations. Disciples of Lee Clan can be easily identified by their colorful black, Crimson, dark purple and gold robes with their signature Rose shaped crest and the Red forehead ribbons they wear -The Lees themselves also wear these ribbons however their ribbons tend to be much more intricate in design.- The Lee clan focuses on Martial and Instrumental cultivation, Specifically Flute based Instrumental cultivation.
Important Lees to remember include Emperor Lee Huzian/Lee Cheng, Empress Lee Haiyang/Lee Yu, Prince Lee Saeha/Lee Zhen, and Princess Lee Xiaomei/Lee Wen.
Jie Clan
"Survive at all costs."
The cockroaches of the Cultivation world — as long as there's at least one of them, the clan will remain. Jade and cream-colored robes can easily identify the clan with a yin yang crest.
Important Jies to remember include Sect leader Jie Xiaojin
Han Clan
"Take no bullshit, leave no survivors."
There must always be a balance in the world; good cannot be good without evil, Han Clan serves as that necessary evil. Founded around the time of Lee Clan by the princess consort's personal guard for the purpose of forcefully paving the way in the cultivation world for the Lee clan, the Han Clan answers only to the Lee clan and are quite often described as loose cannons and outrageously stubborn. They can be identified by their pitch black robes and silver flame crest.
Important Hans to remember include Sect leader Han Xuan and his son Han Li
Rose Clan
"It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak."
Founded by an ascended cultivator with the title of Ebony Rose Dragon 100s of generations before the founding of Zhan-Shi Rose Clan is a bit of a collection of cultivators from fallen clans brought together by the kindness of Ebony Rose Dragon. Clan members can be identified by their silver, cool grey and black robes, with the crest depending on the respective member's original clan crest
Important Rose Clan members to remember include: Jin Zifeng, Xie Ming and Xiao Yichen/Liu Ying
There are more than this however, these are the only ones you'll need to remember.
So let’s move on to our non-Zhan-shian characters.
Azrael
The Grim Reaper in Hanbok. Doesn't appear until the end of the story, but he's a character all the same.

Viking tribesman and son of the clan leader, The Male lead.
