The Lawless Lands V: The Winds

The tallest peaks,

Breach the heavens,

To where the wind goes…

The mountains of the Lawless Land stand tall, with the highest peak reaching well into the atmosphere. The higher one climbed, the colder and harder it became to breathe. The old god of the Winds built his Kingdom in the mountains. Houses and other structures were built around the tall mountains, some of them sticking out over the side, supported by scaffolding while also digging into the mountains themselves. The people of this Kingdom were well adapted to the cold and thin air at the higher points. The palace was built into the mid-section of one mountain, the rock had been carved out at the front into a beautiful design. Two pillars stood tall, marking the entrance, the people were able to carve into the stone using the power of their god. Zephyr, the old of Wind. He did not rule over his kingdom directly, it had its own royal family to do that, but the people still worshiped him and sought guidance from him. During the fell of old, Zephyr sided with Vacthius and fought against the humans. The god would meet his end in battle against the first Shadow Kingdom ruler, who pierced through his raging winds, thus ending his life. Despite their god having died, the daily life in the mountains went on as normal. To this day, the people are still holding well, without the need for a god.
