Chapter 5: Blocks

Hillary's I Spy Junior Adventure

When Mrs. Hubertson closed Busy Bins, she opened the Blocks and gave Hillary a checklist of Blocks riddles. She said, "Now's the time we started with the first scene of Blocks!" "Thanks, Mrs. Hubertson!" said Hillary. "I'm ready!" At the first scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a boat, a painted tree, a golden egg, a bumblebee, a blue cup, a big wooden shoe, a noisy dinosaur and a red number two, and she did. Next, at the second scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a hammer, a ball on a string, a wooden truck, small silver ring, a ladybug, a nest of twigs, a purple crayon and a shovel that digs, and she did. At the third scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a rooster, an ear of corn, three sheep in the row, a yellow horn, a tractor, a little straw hat, three mother hens and a black striped cat, and she did. At the fourth scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a train, a blue plastic spoon, a yellow dog, a hot air balloon, a fire engine, a bike, a skate, a funny clown and the number eight, and she did. At the fifth scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find an elephant, two eyes in a tree, a peanut, a penguin, a bear family, a camera, a Z, a snake, a lion, a zebra and a long silver rake, and she did. And finally, at the sixth scene of Blocks, Hillary used her Riddle Solver Ray 3,000 to find a lunchbox, a star, a bear, a spotted balloon, one green square, a paper doll, a wagon, a jack, a pinwheel, a frog and an apple snack, and she did. Hillary was done with Blocks. So Mrs. Hubertson gave her a blue Blocks badge and said, "Good job, Hillary! You completed all six Blocks scenes!" "Thanks!" said Hillary. So Mrs. Hubertson finally closed Blocks. "And now, Hillary," she said. "It's time for Pattern Place!" "Thanks, Mrs. Hubertson!" said Hillary.
