Chapter 31:

The heinous Dorm Lavini [Bonus]

Limitless Vlogging: A journey around the utopian supercontinent

Months had passed since my reawakening here in Neopangea. My vlogging endeavors had continued better than ever, yet there was still something nagging at me ever since I first returned home...

"Who the fuck is Dorm Lavini!?"

"This again? It was probably just Meredith joking around," Irina sighed.

"It's been bugging me for a while now. I looked up the history of Andorra, and there was no such man in power or nearing power then. It doesn't make any sense to me."

"How about asking Meredith herself?"

"I guess that's a possibility."

...

"Dorm Lavini!? Nope, fuck that guy. Worst heinous piece of shit in human flesh," Meredith scoffed as se waved us away.

"But it's been nagging at me for months. Who the hell is this guy and why is he so bad?"

Meredith rolled her eyes and stared directly into my soul. "You really wanna know? Not even the folks here know this."

"I... want to know."

"In that case... You believe in multiple dimension theory?"

"I guess?"

"I originally came from a messed up dimension where everything in the world was determined by chess."

"And that's bad how?"

"If the worst of the worst were good at chess, they could essentially seize control of the world. Dorm Lavini was one of them. I hailed from Andorra, where there once was a psychopath Moldovan nationalist who came to town and claimed "Andorra was Moldova". Umm, no. Look, it's easy to mistake the flags for each other, yes, but Andorra's located between France and Spain, and gives the French president princehood. Moldova's on the far eastern edge of Europe! But he won a chess match, and Andorra became part of Moldova. I hated it. That guy was a vicious dictator that took delight in our suffering. One day, I managed to win a game, and as a result, was transported to a dimension where things were normal."

"So then you lied about your reasons for entering amberstasis?"

"Eh, guess so. But the world was kinda bleak in 2024, so coming to the future wasn't a bad move."

"At least I finally know now. Thank you for that."
