Chapter 10 - Hope

A few hours earlier, on the southern side, Gwen, Ay, and their tribe are on their way to the Cursed Village.

_ Gwen: “ Thanks for the meal. ”

_ Ay: “ It's only natural, after all, you crossed the entire forest to join us. ”

_ Gwen: “ That's true. ”

_ Ay: “ I'm still surprised that your boss agreed to let us all live together. ”

_ Gwen: “ To tell you the truth, she didn't even believe me when I told her I had found a doctor. ”

_ Ay: " I can understand that. Finding Reclus doctors is unheard of. “

_ Gwen: ” After you made your proposal, she was very reluctant, but she accepted because the situation is critical. “

_ Ay: ” Hmmm. "

_ Gwen: “ She also said you'll be under close surveillance. ”

A mocking smile appears.

_ Kona: “ Ohh, she's incorrigible, that one. ”

_ Shailly: “ It's very difficult to approach her. ” she said, rather sadly.

_ Kona: “ Ah, so I guess you two haven't even talked to each other. ”

_ Shailly: “ Yes... I spoke to her, but she completely ignored me. ”

Kona remains silent for a few seconds, looking up at the sky.

The corners of Shaily's mouth turn down, the skin on her forehead wrinkles.

She lifts her head.

Then look at Shailly smiling.

Shailly breaks down, tears in her eyes.

Subsequently, a group of villagers gathers just in front of the village entrance.

_ Shailly: “What's going on? ”

_ Kona: “ Let's go see. ”

They head toward the crowd and spot Son, Hazel, and Jenna.

_ Son: “ Hey, girls, you're here. ”

_ Kona: “ What's going on? ”

_ Son: “ I'm not sure, Gwen's guardian just came back to the village, but she's with a lot of people. ”

_ Kona: “ What do you mean, a lot of people? ”

Kona and Shailly observe the scene and notice new individuals around Gwen.

_ Shailly: “ Why are they here? ”

_ Villager: “ Oh, haven't you heard, young people? The chief warned us that new villagers will be living with us. ”

_ Son: “ Oh yeah? And why? ”

_ Villager: “ If I understand correctly, a deal was made to bring a doctor to the village. ”

All the orphans look at each other without saying a word, confused but excited by the news.

_ Son: “ But that's great! We're finally going to have a doctor. ”

_ Kona: “ That's fabulous. ”

Shortly after, the person accompanied by Gwen comes face to face with the boss. A handshake follows.

_ Moana: “ So you're the famous doctor. "
