Chapter 2:
Wood Kong: God of nature and souls
"Who said we are helping you." Ignis said with vemon in his voice
"Calm down sweetheart, maybe he has a reason for calling us alway from heaven." Ventus says with a calm voice yet I could still sense some hatred
Let me introduce these two, these are ignis and ventus aeternus, the god of fire and the goddess of wind respectively, they are married as well as sort of work under me since I am the god of nature but now that I have been kicked out of heaven they dont really have to listen to me anymore
"Listen you guys, I may have doomed a fairy village." They look suspicious of me when I said that
"Explain?" Asked ventus
"So basically this village worshipped and in exchange for protection they would give me said worship me but now that I have been kicked out of heaven and my heavenly authority been removed they no longer have any protection and a band of goblins have been coming to village and kidnapping some residents to use as slaves and stealing there stuff?"
"And how does that concern us" Asked ingis
"Well I need your help preparing the fairies to fight back against goblins who might be coming tonight cause I may or may not have killed one of them"
It took a few seconds for them to respond when suddenly ingus let out a giant laugh, like a full on mountain shaking laugh before punching me in the face. As I am on the ground he stands over me and start speaking
"Of course you would call us to solve a problem you created, do you have any idea how it is in heaven at the moment, it is choas. Everyone is trying there best fill your role but that is not working out, your parents and sister have been worried sick and dont even get me started on how Pestilentia feels, she has to deal with everyone else making fun of her cause of your actions, she barely evens talks to anyone more. While we all have been suffering you just been having fun and the first time you try and connect use it is to ask us to help solve a problem you made, I though you would have changed by now and maybe, just maybe I could have convinced the god of creation that you have changed and you could be brought back up to heaven and I could have one of my best friends back but clearly I was wrong, you are still the same immature idiot you always were"
"Wait guys" I try to protest but ventus raises her hand to stop me
"We have seen enough, please dont contact us again till you actually change"
Just before they can leave to back to heaven I try one more thing. Getting on my hands and knees I ask them one more time
"Listen, I know I have been nothing but trouble but please I cant leave these fairies to there demise, I want to prove I can change and I promise this is the last request you get from me, so please just help me"
They both still seem really skeptical of me but eventually ingus speaks up and ask me one simple question
"What do need us to do...boss"
After thanking them throughly we get to work. I ask ventus to take some of the fairies and train them for combat and teach them some offensive spells which might be difficult since gods can't use magic but never mind that, while ventus is training the fairies is ask ignus to help the fairies forge armor and weapons, there as just one problem, the fairies didnt have any sort of metal we could use to forge stuff but thankfully I can help with that.
You see normally I would be able to spawn some iron or something like similar for them to use but since this stupid sigil sort sealed some of my power but I am still able to control the foral around me like what I did to that goblin so I get to work.
With a flick of my wrist I make what I like to call "Leafsteel". It is strong than regular steel and completely organic, using the leafsteel ingus got to work teaching the fairies how to make and use a forge and soon enough they were able to make leafsteel armor and leafsteel weapons, the only problem is that ingus made the armor and weapons to the size of a regular when fairies are as big as a fist so we could not use any of the stuff they made, while wondering what to do ingus came up with an idea.
"I might have something that can help but I am not sure if it will even work." I told him it is fine, to bring and to hurry, it took him about 8 hours when he came holding some some jewlery with some sort of blue crystal in each of them. Before I could ask him to explain what they were for he handed all of them out to as many fairies as he could and told them to put them on.
When they did the fairies all suddenly grew to the size of regular people. Ingus explained they were a gifted from the goddess of jewlery Bijoux, they were size changing jewlery meant to increase the size of the wearer, he was gifted them as a wedding gift but never found much use for them since ventus didnt like it so he just hid them. When I asked why Bijoux would give him such a specific gift he all of a sudden got really defensive and I knew not to pry any further.
With the preparations complete both Ingus and Ventus got ready to depart up to heaven, when I asked them to do one more thing. Using my powers I make an oleander flower and with it my final request of them
"Please give this flower to Pestilentia, these are her favourites and it is my way to show her I am sorry"
Ignus just smiled and promised me he will deliver it with both him and Ventus being consumed in a giant fiery pillar going back up to heaven. As they leave I am approached by Vander
"You have done us a great favours and yet we do not know your name, may you please tell us it"
I was about to say Geb when I remember that if I say it I feel a giant shock in the words of the god of creation so thinking fast I come up with a new name
"My name is Wood kong"
In unison the fairies all bow towards and give me there thanks for helping them so much, just as they raise there heads we can hear the cry of a war horn, I run to the end of the forest and see a horde of goblins, seems like the goblin gang has arrived. As I return to the fairies who are already in there leafsteel armor and carrying there weapons, I tell them one last thing
IT IS TIME TO GO TO WAR
