CHAPTER 1 V1
((For readers!! This is probably not going to be the finished copy!! I will let you guys know if I change it!!))
The bright light in the school bathroom flickered and hummed above Yumei Alakan. She sat on the toilet with headphones on listening to loud music. She looked up at the light and sees a couple mosquitoes buzzing around it.
Yumei opens up her phone and looks at a message from her teacher. She crinkles her nose in disgust. He wants to meet privately after school. Heck no.
Her eyes drift down to her other two chats on her phone. One, was her classmate who had let her stay in her apartment. The girl obviously didn't like Yumei, but living in her apartment made her look good, so she let her stay. She was used to nobody liking her. It made sense, why hang out with the most bullied kid in Northwood? Most people pitied her for some reason. But not enough to do something.
Her second contact was her Aunt. She however, was a viper in human skin. Ever since Yumei's parents died in a tragic accident, her Aunt had the burden (so she called it) of looking after her. After a while, she was screamed at then kicked out of the house. Literally. Of course, she didn't care.
Her aunt is a now blocked number that she's too lazy to delete.
Yumei was sitting on the toilet, waiting for everyone to leave school so she didn't bump into anyone she knew. Well everyone knew her, but she didn't want to bump into someone like Tadashi Meyers. It's like he lives to make Yumei's life hell.
She walks out of the stall and up to the sink then looks in the mirror. She had dark circles around her eyes and her shirt is still stained from when she was pushed into the mud yesterday. She sighs then washes her hands.
While she's washing her hands she hears loud noises echo around her. Her music made it hard to hear what it was, so she instantly took off her headphones. She stays still and listens for a second but she only hears the drip off the faucet. It would be normal, but the school was always loud.
She rolls her eyes at herself for being even slightly scared for a second then dries off her hands on a paper towel then walks towards the door.
She starts to put on her headphones as she walks out the door but she drops them instead. The smell of blood instantly stung her nose when she opened the door. She looks down at the scene, a huge pool of blood on the ground surrounded two dead bodies. One looked like a teacher she vaguely remembered, the other obviously a student judging by the uniform. But it didn't matter who they were, they're dead now. Dead.
She stands there frozen, unable to look away from the disgusting display of murder. The school alarm bell echoes throughout the hallway, but it's too late. This school is going to hell.
