The Assassin's Code
CHAPTER 2 V1
Yumei bends down and touches the blood and watches as it drips off her hand. She's never seen this much blood before. The more she looked and thought about it, the more it scared her. She felt her heartbeat pick up and subconsciously took a step back as the sirens made her ears ring.
Down the hall gunshots rang out. She snapped out of her trance and sprinted away from the sound, dropping her bag in the process. Screaming and shouting quickly followed as the shooting continued. In blind panic, she ran, her heart pounding in her chest. The coppery smell of blood everywhere, which was making her head spin.
She looked behind her as she ran, then heard yelling from the direction she was running in. She whipped her head forward to see a man in foreign uniform who was waving his gun at her while yelling at her in a language she didn't understand. Or maybe it was just the terror that made him seem jumbled up. But whatever he wanted, she knew it was bad.
She skid on the bloody floor to a quick stop, throwing her hands up in surrender. She backed up slowly as the man continued yelling at her. She tried to speak out but nothin came. As she was backing out she bumped into a wall that she didn't know was there. But that was no wall. She peeked over her shoulder, hands still up, to see a giant man looming over her.
Before she could back away, his big, strong hand easily lifted her up by the top of her head. She kicked her legs about, her hands grabbing the man's wrist, trying force him to let go.
Through the built up dizziness, she looked at him up and down, barely recognizing the uniform from an old 'listen or die' class. He is from Oshina.
But this man had stars and badges on his uniform unlike the other who was screaming at her just now. Then she realized it. This man was one of the legendary twelve generals. The infamous General Dyma.
