Chapter 3:

The Rise of the Five Heroes

The Master of Heroes

The classroom becomes silent. Not a single student moves. Even the ceiling fan seems to slow down as the teacher takes a deep breath.

Teacher: Alright, students… listen carefully. This is the story of the Ancient War, the war that shaped every universe… and the war that gave birth to the title Master of Heroes.

The lights flicker for a moment.
A gust of wind passes through the windows.
And suddenly, the classroom feels colder, as if the story itself is alive.

The Beginning of Chaos

Long before the Diphu Heroes Academy existed… long before humans even understood what “heroes” meant… the universe was at peace.
Dimensions were separated, balanced, and calm.

But then something changed.

A crack appeared in the dimensional barrier—like glass breaking in slow motion. Through that crack emerged the first monster. Not a small creature… but a horrifying beast from a world where darkness was alive and fed on fear.

That monster was a scout.

Behind him came thousands.
Behind thousands came millions.
And behind them came three rulers who controlled all chaos.

Feralis. The Minotaur. The Hag.

Their combined evil reshaped the skies of every world they touched. Stars dimmed. Planets trembled. Kingdoms fell.

Humans, elves, spirits, magical tribes—everyone was powerless. None could stand in front of the monsters.

Civilizations began to collapse.

But the universe has a rule—
Whenever darkness rises, heroes are born.

And so, destiny chose five.

The Five Heroes Emerge

The teacher walks slowly to the board and draws a simple symbol—five stars connected in a circle.

Teacher: These five did not know each other at first. But fate pushed them forward.

1. Thong Nokbe — The Blade Master

Born in a warrior village where children learned to fight before they learned to speak.
At age 10, he defeated bandits.
At age 15, he fought giant beasts.
At age 18, he entered the sacred “Cave of Swords” and claimed magical blades forged by ancient gods.

Each sword he used had a different power—fire, wind, lightning, shadows, and more.
His strength was unmatched. His courage, unbreakable.

2. Teronpi Kewe — The Blessed Healer

She was born under a rare celestial event, giving her the power to heal wounds, cure poison, and strengthen allies.
She could turn fear into bravery, weakness into power.
When she touched someone’s forehead, their speed increased.
When she placed her hand on someone’s chest, their strength multiplied.

She was gentle, but on the battlefield, she was the heart of the team.

3. Ranachandi Jadu Hasnu — The Arcane Devourer

He spent half his life studying forgotten magic.
He learned ancient languages, spells, rituals, and even dangerous forbidden techniques.
His true ability was unique—
He could absorb magic.

Enemy spells disappeared into his hands.
Monster energy drained into his body.
With each battle, he grew stronger.

4. Jadonang — The Saint Warrior

A monk who trained in a hidden temple on a floating mountain.
He could control the gravity of the universe—pulling enemies down, lifting entire mountains, or crushing monsters with invisible force.

People believed he was blessed by celestial spirits.
His voice had the power to calm storms.

5. Lachit Borphukan — The Hero With No Powers

The teacher pauses, smiling with admiration.

Teacher: And this one is my favorite.

Lachit had no superpowers at all. Not even a little bit.
But he was brave. Too brave.
He trained every day until his muscles felt like stones and his bones felt like steel.

He wielded the legendary sword Hex Eater—a weapon that grew stronger with the courage of its user.

In history, there was no warrior more fearless than Lachit Borphukan.

The Monsters Gather

While the Five Heroes trained, the three monster rulers prepared their armies.

Feralis

With her serpent eyes and poisonous breath, she created an army of magical beasts—night hunters, shadow crawlers, and venom dragons. Her creatures could melt stone with their poison.

The Minotaur

He built a legion of brute monsters—giants, ogres, bone crushers.
His soldiers were unstoppable. Their footsteps caused earthquakes.

The Hag, King of Dragons

He commanded dragons of every color—red, black, silver, and blue.
Entire universes burnt under his fire.
Planets cracked when he roared.

No one in history had faced an army like this.

When War Finally Began

The first battle took place at the Valley of Stars, a battlefield between dimensions.
The sky turned red.
The ground cracked open.
Lightning fell like rain.

And the monsters arrived—millions of them.

The five heroes stood alone.

People watching from far away believed the heroes would die in seconds.

But something legendary happened.

Thong Nokbe stepped forward with his flaming blade.

He slashed through thousands of monsters.
His swords glowed like suns.

Ranachandi Jadu Hasnu absorbed dark magic, turning monster spells into pure light and firing them back. Jadonang lifted the earth itself.

He threw giant rocks, mountains, and even rivers at the monsters using gravity control.

Teronpi Kewe healed her team continuously and strengthened them with divine energy.

And Lachit Borphukan—the man with no powers—charged straight into the battlefield with Hex Eater.
Every strike from his sword cut through even the strongest monsters.

But the monster rulers did not join yet.
They waited.
They watched.

The teacher pauses, scanning the classroom.

Students are frozen. No one whispers.

The Monster Rulers Enter the War

The ground suddenly shakes inside the classroom.

No—it’s just the teacher stomping her foot for dramatic effect.

Teacher: Then came the moment everyone feared.

First came Feralis, her green body glowing with cursed magic. Her tail smashed the ground.
Her poison wave melted thousands of troops.

Then The Minotaur charged.
Every step cracked the land.
His ram attack broke mountains into dust.

And finally…
the sky split open…
and the king of dragons descended — The Hag.

He was gigantic. An entire castle could fit on his back.
His roar shattered the sky.
Universes trembled.

The Five Heroes, for the first time, looked nervous.

This was no ordinary war anymore.

The Turning Point

The teacher picks up a piece of chalk and draws a jagged line.

Teacher: This line represents the moment everything changed.

Feralis attacked first.
Her poison wave almost killed Thong Nokbe, but Teronpi Kewe healed him instantly.

The Minotaur charged at Jadonang.
The ground exploded.
But Jadonang increased the gravity around the Minotaur, slowing the beast, pushing him to the ground.

Ranachandi absorbed Feralis’s strongest spell and fired it back at the Minotaur, burning his horns.

And then…

The Hag flew into the sky, swallowed a sun, and shot a beam of pure destruction toward the heroes.

Everything went white.

The battlefield became silent.

Dust filled the air.

Students in the class lean forward, their hearts racing.

The Hero With No Powers

When the dust settled… only one hero was standing.

Lachit Borphukan.

He had stood in front of the blast and blocked it with his sword Hex Eater.
His body was bleeding.
His armor cracked.
But his eyes burned with courage.

He alone walked toward The Hag.

Teacher: And that, students, is where we pause the story for today.

The entire classroom explodes with:

Students: NOOOOOOO!! Ma’am please continue!!

The teacher laughs.

Teacher: Tomorrow, we will hear how the heroes defeated the monster rulers… and how the legend of the Master of Heroes was born.
