Chapter 2:
The Master of Heroes
Oh, I forgot to mention… this place is called Diphu Heroes Academy.
Here, students learn how to become real heroes who save people using their powers.
The academy has a huge training ground where students practice their abilities.
Everyone is ranked—Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3, and so on.
And most importantly, the heroes must be prepared to fight monsters from other dimensions.
Every year, there is a great competition to decide who will become the Master of Heroes.
Buddhist: Yeah… I’m alright… uh.
Serdihun Beybi: Okay guys, come on. Let’s go to class.
So Buddhist, Alir, Serdihun Beybi, and Serdihun Rongchehonpi walk together toward class.
But on the way, I see another friend.
Doraemi: Hi Buddhist!
This is Doraemi Manta. She’s a good friend and she has electricity powers.
But be careful—if you touch her, you might get shocked. Electricity is dangerous.
Buddhist: Hello, Doraemi…
Alir: Hey! Stop saying hello to her!
Serdihun Beybi: Buddhist, let’s go!
Serdihun Rongchehonpi: Okay guys, I have a HIS-MOR class. Bye!
Alir, Serdihun Beybi & Buddhist: Bye!
Alir: Come on guys, we have to hurry. Our GEO-MORPHER class is starting!
We rush into class just as the teacher enters.
Students: Good morning, Ma’am!
Teacher: Good morning, students…
Today we will start with something ancient. Have you ever heard the story of the Five Heroes?
They were the first Masters of Heroes.
Tete: Who are they, Ma’am?
Teacher: Listen carefully.
There are many universes and many dimensions. As you all know, monsters often come into our dimension from others. These creatures are far stronger than humans.
In ancient times, monsters were ruled by three powerful leaders:
1. FeralisA female monster with extremely high magical power.
She was tall, her skin was dark green, she had a long tail, poison in her mouth, and eyes like a snake.
A terrifying creature.
A buffalo-like monster with two gigantic horns.
His body was so hard that a thousand bullets couldn’t injure him.
He could fight millions of soldiers, and if he became angry… your nightmare began.
He would tear his enemies into pieces and eat them.
The strongest, most dangerous of all.
King of the dragons.
He conquered countless universes.
No one could defeat him.
Tete: Ma’am… was there no one who could stop them?
Teacher: There were. The Five Heroes. The true Masters of Heroes.
1. Thong NokbeA master of blades, wielder of magical swords.
The strongest warrior of his time.
A brave woman with powers of healing, enhancing strength and speed, and manipulating magical energy.
3. Ranachandi Jadu HasnuA great magician.
He had deep knowledge of ancient magic.
He could absorb enemy magic and use it against them.
He could drain energy from the monsters themselves.
The Saint Warrior.
King of the saints.
His powers were unpredictable.
He could control the gravity of the universe and destroy monsters with small bursts of sacred magic.
The greatest swordsman of Assam.
He had no superpowers, but possessed unmatched courage.
With the legendary sword Hex Eater, he cut down millions of monsters.
A true hero whose bravery surpassed all.
Tete: So Ma’am… who won? The monsters or the heroes?
The classroom becomes silent.
Every student leans forward.
Teacher: Let us begin the story of the Ancient War…
And the entire class listens as the legend unfolds.
