Chapter 2:

Kaizen

November's Shadows

Aliza paused for a minute. “Who, are you?” her voice was trembling of terror. “Shh… It’s me. HIHAHA! HIHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!” along with a chilling, inhuman, creepy laugh he entered the room. The mist along with the scent of ash and ozone, finally faded away, revealing a shadow, that seemed to suck all light from the room.

Aliza, “Who are you!? Waste crap!” Aliza’s insult spitted out of her mouth. The mist thickened. Nothing except the creature’s shadow was visible. As soon as she said it a white snake rushed towards her. She yelled for help, but there was no one to listen her. The venomous, creepy white snake grabbed her neck tightly. “He-Hel-p-p” she struggled to inhale. Her body was begging for air.

“Your tries are worthless, tiny mouse. What can you even do if I locked you?” the creature spoke up in a dark tone, enough to scare anyone right away. The mist slowly started fading once again. Aliza’s limbs stiffened. “You cannot break the curse, because now… You’re under my control! HIHAHAHAHA!”

“Pretty princess.” The environment snapped. The mist was gone, Aliza’s limbs got normal. The snake was gone. She was dressed as a princess and was in front of a handsome prince. “You said me pretty?” Aliza questioned. “Oh really?” the prince asked. “You look very handsome.” Aliza confessed. “And so do you.” The prince closed his eyes.

“O, pretty princess, do you love me?” he said.

Aliza, “Yes. And what about you?” the prince moved closer and grabbed Aliza’s shoulder. He touched her lips, kissing her, “But you’re doomed.” As his lips touched hers, the prince’s eyes snapped open. His eyeballs were glowing crimson-red. The romantic environment started to cripple away and a dark, black environment formed. The prince turned into a demonic creature. Red eyes, long charcoal-black hair, and the snake resting in his glowing red katana.

Aliza stepped back a step and then a few more until she realized it was the end. The creature placed his hand in front of her head and pressed his finger on her forehead. “You look ambitious, prosperous.” Aliza wanted to speak but she couldn’t. “The Ghouls in my world are useless and lack talent.” He released his finger and looked back. “So now, you would not be Aliza in the Earth.” He sharply turned his eyeballs, keeping Aliza in sight. “You’d be. In the Ghost land.” He took a brief pause. “KAIZEN!” and gave out an evil laugh.

A thick layer of mist formed again. Heavier and colder than liquid nitrogen. This time, directly above Aliza’s head, filling her lungs. She shouted again in fear but the sound that emerged from her was a deep, powerful male voice. “Welcome to Area 51.” And then…
