Spotlight #12: Filipa

Filipa Barbosa, age 19. Born in Brazil, she unintentionally gained infamy after someone mistook her for famed French fashion designer, Fifi Bealieu. The accusation outraged Filipa, and thus began a bitter rivalry with a woman she'd never encountered, nor has yet to encounter despite having many chances to do so. 

To add more fuel to the fire, her rating is the same as Fifi's though their birthdays are different. The conspiracy theorists don't care though and think Filipa truly is just Fifi. Some believe they're long lost twins, but a DNA test seemingly disproved any biological relationship between the two, but naturally, the validity of the test is questioned. 

Poor Filipa is stuck having her life dominated by Fifi this and Fifi that, unable to have any achievements go to her name without Fifi coming into the picture. Filipa herself believes Fifi is actually not a real person, and oddly enough, Fifi thinks the same of her. Though if they ever do meet face-to-face, Filipa vows she'll chessbox Fifi on the spot so she can quote, "Fuck up her face for all the scrutiny its put me through." 

Many consider it a wonder in of itself she's never able to encounter Fifi, even when the conditions line up perfectly. As a DSPCM, she can warp freely and be challenged from any secret puzzle cafe in the world should a player have managed to unlock the right to challenge her. This led to some players attempting to respectively challenge Fifi and Filipa at the same time, but only Fifi arrived. Yet when she departed, Filipa showed up. This truly is one of the world's biggest mysteries. 

As for Filipa's hobbies, she likes beach volleyball and doesn't have any interest in fashion. She's also skilled at chess, and feels she could become a grandmaster.
