Chapter 27:
Rudra Singha
The world outside shook like a giant beating a drum. Screams filled the streets. Houses trembled. Dust rose into the air like smoke. Rudra stood frozen for a moment, staring through the window as Maharakt, the giant demon, attacked Valmiki again.
Valmiki slid across the ground, coughing blood, but he forced himself to stand. His body shook with pain, but his eyes were still brave.
Rudra couldn’t take it anymore.
He rushed toward the door.
“I’m coming, sir… I won’t let you fight alone!”
The bracelet on his wrist glowed faintly, weak but still alive.
“Let me out…”
The whisper echoed again.
Calm. Cold. Hungry.
Rudra took a deep breath. “Fine. I need your power… Jinnah.”
The stone on the bracelet cracked further, then burst with a bright red light.
THE AWAKENINGRudra stepped out into the street. Wind blew around him in a circle. Dust spun like a mini tornado. His heartbeat thundered in his chest.
THUMP
THUMP
THUMP
His eyes turned red.
His skin darkened, turning from brown to charcoal black.
Lines of glowing white symbols appeared on his arms.
A deep growl escaped his throat.
His nails extended into claws.
His teeth sharpened.
A long shadow rose behind him—twisted, monstrous, powerful.
Rudra was no longer just Rudra.
He was Jinnah, the ancient demon of storms and rage.
But unlike the last time, this time Rudra tried to hold on to control. He clenched his fists and whispered through gritted teeth:
“I… am… still… here…”
Jinnah’s voice echoed inside him.
“Not for long.”
The transformation completed with a giant blast of energy. The roof tiles of nearby houses flew off. Street lamps bent sideways. People far away ducked in fear.
Jinnah stood in Rudra’s place, breathing heavily, dark aura rising around him.
Maharakt turned, eyes widening slightly. “So… the boy awakens.”
Valmiki, barely standing, looked relieved and terrified at the same time.
“Rudra… please… control yourself…”
Rudra’s voice came out mixed with Jinnah’s—half boy, half demon.
“I’ll try…”
Maharakt stomped forward, cracking the ground.
“Come then, little demon! Let me crush you!”
Jinnah’s lips curled into a dangerous smile.
“Try me…”
Before the giant demon could blink, Jinnah vanished—moving faster than wind.
SWOOSH!
He appeared behind Maharakt and punched him in the back. The punch was so powerful that Maharakt stumbled forward.
The ground split.
Trees shook.
Birds fled.
Maharakt growled. “Fast… but not enough!”
He swung his giant arm.
Jinnah jumped, landing on a nearby house roof, breaking it.
“Your size is your weakness,” Jinnah growled. “You’re slow.”
Maharakt grabbed a broken wall and threw it like a stone.
Jinnah sliced the flying debris in half with one swipe of his claws.
Then he leaped forward and landed directly on Maharakt’s head—
BOOM!
He punched down repeatedly.
Left.
Right.
Left.
Right.
Each hit echoed like thunder.
Maharakt roared in pain and grabbed Jinnah, throwing him across the street. Jinnah rolled, crashed into a tree, and stood again immediately.
Jinnah wiped blood from his lips. “Good. You’re strong.”
Maharakt cracked his knuckles. “And you… are annoying.”
He charged.
Jinnah charged too.
They collided with a shockwave so powerful that windows shattered all across the street.
VALMIKI’S WARNINGValmiki watched the fight, but his face filled with worry instead of relief.
“This is bad… Rudra is losing control. Jinnah is taking over.”
He staggered closer, shouting, “Rudra! Remember who you are! Don’t let Jinnah rule!”
For a moment, Jinnah glanced back at Valmiki.
That single look carried anger… and sadness.
But then Maharakt grabbed him from behind and slammed him into the ground.
BOOM.
Jinnah roared and broke free, slashing Maharakt’s chest, leaving three long glowing scars. Black blood splashed everywhere.
Maharakt smirked through the pain. “Yes… good… show me your full strength!”
But Valmiki’s voice echoed again.
“Rudra! Stop listening to him!”
Jinnah shook his head, growling. “I am… Rudra… I am… not a monster…”
Jinnah touched his chest, trying to calm himself.
Jinnah’s inner voice laughed.
“You are exactly a monster.”
Jinnah’s eyes flashed fully red.
Rudra’s control… slipped.
THE FINAL STRIKEMaharakt charged again.
Jinnah leaped forward, aura glowing like a burning storm.
He spun in the air, flames of dark energy wrapping around his arms.
He punched Maharakt in the face.
CRACK!
The demon’s horn broke off.
Maharakt fell to one knee, stunned.
Jinnah didn’t stop. His rage exploded completely.
He jumped high and landed on Maharakt’s back, pushing him into the ground.
Then Jinnah raised both arms.
Power gathered around his claws—dark lightning, wind, and black fire.
Valmiki’s eyes widened.
“Oh no… that attack… it can kill even a giant demon!”
Jinnah roared:
“RUDRA’S—
DEMON STRIKE!”
He slammed both fists into Maharakt’s skull.
BOOOOOOOM!
A shockwave ripped through the town.
The ground split open in a long crater.
Trees bent backward.
Roofs collapsed.
Birds scattered in panic.
Smoke and dust filled the air.
When it cleared…
Maharakt lay motionless, face buried in the ground.
His body slowly dissolved into black ash.
He was defeated.
Jinnah breathed heavily, chest rising and falling like a wild animal.
His aura sparked violently.
Valmiki took a step forward. “Rudra! Listen to me! The battle is over. Calm down!”
Jinnah didn’t respond.
Instead, his claws shook.
His breath grew louder.
His eyes burned brighter.
He turned his head slowly toward Valmiki.
Not with Rudra’s eyes.
But with a demon’s eyes.
Valmiki froze.
“Oh no…”
JINNAH BREAKS FREEInside Jinnah’s mind, Rudra tried to regain control.
“Stop… stop… it’s enough…”
Jinnah laughed in his head.
“You released me. Now you think you can lock me away again?”
Rudra pushed harder. “You’re hurting everyone!”
“Good.”
Rudra felt himself fading—his voice becoming small.
Outside, Jinnah took a step toward Valmiki.
Then another.
Valmiki raised his staff, but his body was already tired, injured, and low on power.
Jinnah growled, each step cracking the earth.
“Valmiki… you tried to control me… now I will—”
“RUDRA!” Valmiki shouted. “Fight him!”
For a second… Jinnah hesitated.
Rudra pushed with all his remaining strength.
“No… I won’t hurt Valmiki… I won’t… I WON’T!”
Jinnah screamed in rage.
Energy exploded around him.
But Rudra was too weak.
Jinnah overpowered him.
He roared and lunged at Valmiki with full force—
BOOM!
Valmiki raised his magical barrier, but the shield cracked instantly.
Jinnah’s claws slammed against it again, breaking through.
Valmiki fell backward, dropping his staff.
Jinnah stood over him, ready to strike the final blow.
