Chapter 13:

The Wrath of Jirsong: When Friendship Turns Into Fire.

The Master of Heroes

The stadium was still shaking with fear and sadness. Buddhist Kemprai had been taken away on a hover-bed, covered in blood and cuts. His defeat wasn’t a normal defeat—everyone saw how Sengkan tried to kill him.

People whispered, cried, and shouted angrily.

The Master of Heroes Competition had turned into something darker.

But the competition continued…

And the next match was about to start.

This match would change everything.

The Announcement

1st Person (voice trembling):
“Ladies and gentlemen… please stay calm. Buddhist Kemprai has been taken for medical treatment. The competition must go on.”

2nd Person (soft):
“And now… the next match…
Jirsong Terang vs Digangto.”

The whole arena reacted at once.

Some gasped.

Some whispered.

Some cheered nervously.

Because this match was different.

This match was personal.

Digangto in the Player Room

Digangto sat in the corner, fists shaking.

He was Buddhist’s close friend.
He had trained with him, fought alongside him, and always protected him.

When he saw Buddhist being carried away in blood…
Something broke inside him.

Digangto (whispering to himself):
“Sengkan… you monster.
Buddhist didn’t deserve that…”

He stood up with fire in his eyes.

Alir ran to him.

Alir:
“Digangto! Please… don’t overdo it. Buddhist wouldn’t want you to fight with anger.”

Digangto:
“I’m not fighting with anger…
I’m fighting with loyalty.”

Serdihun:
“Then be careful. Jirsong isn’t normal… he’s dangerous.”

Digangto nodded.

He closed his eyes…
And saw Buddhist’s smile in his mind.

Digangto (soft voice):
“For you, brother…”

Then he walked toward the arena gate.

Jirsong’s Entrance

Jirsong was already walking to the battlefield.

He smirked as he cracked his knuckles.

Jirsong:
“So Buddhist’s weak friend is next…
This will be fun.”

Sengkan, lying in the medical room with his stomach wound, smirked when he saw Jirsong on the monitor.

Sengkan:
“Finish him, Jirsong… break his spirit.”

Jirsong laughed.

His aura was dark, confident, and cruel.

Digangto Enters the Arena

BOOM!

Digangto stepped out into the stadium. His powerful body, strong muscles, and determined eyes made the crowd roar.

The announcers raised their voices.

2nd Person:
“Ohhh! Digangto has entered, ladies and gentlemen! He is Buddhist’s close friend… and today, he is burning with purpose!”

1st Person:
“And his opponent—Jirsong Terang! One of the most feared fighters in this competition!”

The tension could be cut with a knife.

Crowd members shouted:

“REVENGE FOR BUDDHIST!”
“GO DIGANGTO!”
“JIRSONG IS A MONSTER!”

But Jirsong only smiled.

Before the Battle

Referee:
“Are the fighters ready?”

Digangto stared at Jirsong with pure anger.

Digangto:
“I won’t let you hurt anyone else.”

Jirsong smirked.

Jirsong:
“Oh? You’re angry because your little friend almost died?
Don’t worry…
You’ll join him soon.”

Digangto’s eyes filled with rage.

Referee:
“Then… FIGHT!”

The Battle Begins

Digangto dashed forward, throwing a heavy punch at Jirsong’s chest.

BOOM!

The entire stadium shook.

But—

Jirsong didn’t move.

He blocked the punch with one hand.

Jirsong (grinning):
“Is this the strength of Buddhist’s friend?”

Digangto clenched his teeth.

He swung again.

BAM!

Another punch.

Jirsong dodged it easily.

He countered.

CRACK!

His knee slammed into Digangto’s stomach.

Digangto coughed out air and staggered back.

1st Person:
“Oh no… Jirsong is too fast!”

2nd Person:
“Digangto must calm down! Fighting with anger gives openings!”

But Digangto couldn’t calm down.

Not today.

Not after seeing Buddhist like that.

Digangto’s Determination

Digangto roared:

“THIS IS FOR BUDDHIST!!!”

He charged again.

Punches.
Kicks.
Throws.

He used everything.

But Jirsong dodged with ease, like he had memorized every move.

Jirsong:
“You’re predictable.”

Jirsong appeared behind him—

WHACK!

A powerful kick to the back.

Digangto crashed into the arena wall.

The crowd gasped.

Yet Digangto pulled himself up again.

His eyes glowed with determination.

Digangto:
“I won’t fall…
I am Buddhist’s shield!”

Digangto Activates Beast Mode

Suddenly—

Digangto inhaled deeply.

His muscles grew bigger.

Veins popped out.

His body glowed with wild energy.

1st Person:
“OHHH!! He activated Beast Mode!!”

2nd Person:
“His strength just doubled!”

Digangto roared like an animal and charged—

This time, his punch landed.

BOOOOOM!

Jirsong flew back, crashing into the ground.

The crowd exploded with cheers.

Digangto jumped and punched again.

CRACK!

Then kicked.

Then slammed him into the ground.

Alir clasped her hands in hope.

Alir:
“He’s doing it! He’s fighting for Buddhist!”

Sengkan growled from the medical room.

Sengkan:
“Damn it… don’t lose, Jirsong!”

Jirsong Awakens His Power

But then…

The ground started vibrating.

A dark blue aura rose around Jirsong’s body.

Jirsong slowly stood up, wiping blood from his mouth.

Jirsong (smiling coldly):
“You made me bleed…
So now…
You die.”

Lightning burst around him.

Serdihun stepped back in fear.

Serdihun:
“This aura… it’s stronger than Digangto’s Beast Mode!”

Jirsong moved faster than sound.

He appeared in front of Digangto.

BAM!

A punch to the ribs.

BAM!

A punch to the jaw.

BAM!

A kick to the stomach.

Digangto flew into the air.

Jirsong jumped.

Grabbed his head.

And slammed him down.

THUNDER CRASH!!!

The ground cracked like glass.

Digangto didn’t move.

Digangto’s Last Stand

The referee stepped forward—

Referee:
“Digang—”

But Digangto grabbed the ground and lifted himself.

Everyone gasped.

Blood dripped from his lips, but he managed a weak smile.

Digangto:
“Buddhist…
I promised…
I will not fall easily…”

He stood up one last time.

Jirsong frowned.

Jirsong:
“Still standing?
Fine. I’ll end it properly.”

The Final Blow

Jirsong lifted his glowing hand.

Lightning gathered like a storm.

He whispered:

“Thunder Execution.”

Then he punched Digangto’s chest with full force.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The explosion shook the stadium.

Digangto collapsed.

Unmoving.

His Beast Mode faded.

Referee (shouting):
“JIRSOMG TERANG WINS!!!”

The crowd screamed in fear and sadness.

Alir cried.

Serdihun hugged her sister.

Sumit punched the wall.

Aftermath

Medics carried Digangto away, his body limp but alive.

Jirsong walked away without looking back.

Jirsong (cold whisper):
“Buddhist…
Say goodbye to your friends.
One by one…
They will fall.”

The stadium trembled.

Because everyone knew—

A new villain had risen.

And the real war…

Was only beginning.
