Chapter 7:

Chapter 7: The Unknown Storyteller

Summer Hyakumonogatari

When Sayuri finished her story, Yuka let out a startled sound.

“What? Hanako-san hit them?”

“Mm, Shōwa was that kind of era. Back then, she was probably being gentle.
And also, she didn’t notice me, but Hanako-san showed up in my dream.
I don’t know about the toilet, but… maybe she might come to your houses too.”

Covering her mouth, she let out a mischievous smile.

The comment section was in high spirits.
Talk about appearances was the most common, followed by voices hoping that “she might come.”

“Why are you happy?!”

While Sayuri was looking confused, Yuka said, “Okay, I’ll put it out,” and blew on the candle with a smile.

“Ah! Both of them went out!”

Relying on the light of the tablet, Yuka hurriedly lit one of the candles again.

—At that moment, behind her, something shaped like a person appeared faintly.
The two of them didn’t notice it, but it was clearly shown on the streaming screen.

“…On that day—”

An eerie voice began to speak, and the comment section started to stir.

“It’s my turn next!”

When Yuka cut in with her lips pursed, the supernatural being behind her slipped out of sight.

Voices of surprise kept being posted in the comment section, but Yuka continued talking without noticing.
