Chapter 15:
The Master of Heroes
The Master of Heroes stadium, which had been roaring with cheers only minutes ago, suddenly fell silent.
People lifted their heads.
Children stopped crying.
Vendors dropped their snacks.
Even the wind froze.
Because the sky…
turned completely black.
It wasn’t a normal cloud.
It wasn’t storm weather.
It was something unnatural.
A swirling darkness spread across the heavens, covering the entire city.
People whispered in fear:
“What is happening?”
“Is this a disaster?”
“Is the world ending?”
But no one knew.
Not yet.
Ayon and Sumit ReactAyon and Sumit, who were in the middle of their fierce match, stopped and stared at the dark sky.
Ayon (shocked):
“Sumit… what is that? Can you see it?”
Sumit narrowed his eyes, still breathing from the fight.
Sumit:
“Yes… I can see it clearly.
But I have no idea what is going to happen next.”
Both fighters stood side by side, no longer opponents.
They were now brothers in danger.
In the Players’ RoomInside the player room, the tension grew thicker.
Jirsong stood by the window.
His confident expression faded for the first time.
Jirsong (confused):
“What is happening out there?”
Alir stepped forward slowly, fear in her voice.
Alir:
“Is that… the sky?”
Serdihun moved closer to her sister, holding her hand tightly.
Serdihun (whispering):
“The sky is turning darker and darker…”
Serdihun 2 (scared):
“Is this… some kind of curse?”
No one could answer.
No one could understand.
In the Medical RoomMeanwhile, the injured heroes watched the darkness from their beds.
Buddhist tried to sit up, his body still weak and covered with bandages.
Buddhist (thinking, panicking):
“No… no… something dangerous is happening.
I want to go out there… I need to protect everyone…”
He struggled to rise but his injuries burned with pain.
Sengkan, lying in his own medical bed, stared at the sky with wide eyes.
Sengkan (softly):
“Dark… what kind of darkness is this?”
Digangto, barely conscious, whispered:
Digangto:
“…in the sky… something is coming…”
And he was right.
Something was coming.
Something terrible.
The Portal OpensThe darkness began to twist.
To swirl.
To spin like a tornado.
Then, suddenly—
A huge glowing circle formed in the sky.
A massive portal.
Wind blasted across the city.
People screamed as their clothes and hair whipped around.
Electric sparks flashed around the portal.
And then…
Shapes began to fall out of it.
At first one.
Then ten.
Then hundreds.
They weren’t stars.
They weren’t birds.
They were…
Demons.
Wings.
Horns.
Armors of bone.
Eyes glowing red like fire.
The demons flew downward calmly and landed on the ground as if this was their home.
The crowd froze.
Everyone was trembling.
Some fainted.
Some tried to run but their legs collapsed.
Because no one expected this.
No one imagined demons pouring into their world from another dimension.
The Demon Leader ArrivesA huge figure stepped out of the portal last.
He was bigger than all the other demons.
His body was covered in black armor.
His wings were enormous.
And his voice shook the earth.
Demon Leader (shouting):
“DEMON SOLDIERS!!
ATTACK THE HUMANS!
CAPTURE THIS WORLD!”
The demons roared back like a giant army.
And chaos began.
The Attack BeginsScreams filled the stadium.
People ran in every direction, pushing each other, falling, crying.
Some demons flew after them.
Some smashed buildings.
Some tore apart the arena seats with their claws.
It was a nightmare.
Ayon took one step forward.
Ayon (loud):
“HEROES!!
FIRST SAVE THE PEOPLE!
I’m going to fight the demon leader!”
Sumit nodded.
Sumit:
“Go.
We’ll take care of the rest.”
Ayon ran into the city, lightning forming around his fists.
Ayon vs The Demon Leader BeginsAyon entered a broken building where the demon leader had landed.
As he stepped in, flames lit up the room.
Ayon stared directly at the massive demon.
Ayon:
“So you’re the one leading this invasion.”
The demon leader grinned, showing sharp fangs.
Demon Leader:
“Human… you are nothing.
I will crush you like an insect.”
Ayon tightened his fists.
Ayon:
“We’ll see about that.”
Back outside, the city was in chaos.
Buildings cracked.
Cars exploded.
Demon claws cut through steel like butter.
The heroes rushed in.
Sumit fought three demons at once with bare hands.
Jirsong electrocuted demons left and right.
Serdihun and Serdihun 2 hid behind a broken wall, shaking.
Serdihun 2 (terrified):
“Where is Hero Kemp?! We need him!”
Serdihun (crying):
“Please… someone save us…”
Alir was helping people escape, guiding children and injured citizens to safety.
Alir (shouting):
“Run toward the safe zone! Hurry!”
Suddenly—
A massive demon landed behind her.
He growled.
Alir turned slowly, fear rising in her chest.
Demon:
“Human girl… DIE!”
He raised his claws—
But before he could strike—
BOOOOM!!
A burst of magic hit the demon and blasted him backward, killing him instantly.
Alir gasped and turned.
“Sir…?”
Ram Sir appeared, standing tall with glowing hands.
Ram Sir (serious):
“Be careful, Alir.
These demons are too strong for normal fighters.”
Alir nodded with gratitude.
Alir:
“Thank you, sir… I’ll stay alert.”
Ram Sir moved forward, firing magic blasts at demons surrounding the stadium.
Heroes Who Cannot FightBack in the medical room, the noise of destruction echoed everywhere.
Buddhist gripped his bed tightly.
Buddhist (thinking):
“No…
My friends…
The people…
They’re out there fighting…
And I’m here lying useless…”
He tried to stand.
Pain stabbed his whole body.
Buddhist:
“Uhh… I have to go…
I have to… protect them…”
He fell again.
Sweating.
Breathing heavily.
But still trying to get up.
Digangto, barely awake, whispered:
Digangto:
“Buddhist… don’t move…
Your body won’t handle it…”
But Buddhist’s eyes were full of fire.
Buddhist (panting):
“I… don’t… care…
They… need… me…”
Even Sengkan, who always hated him, watched quietly from his bed.
Sengkan (softly, confused):
“…why does he still try so hard…?”
Across the city, demons were destroying buildings, attacking civilians, and fighting heroes one by one.
The invasion had begun.
This was not a simple attack.
It was a war.
Heroes were pushed back.
Some were injured.
Some were overwhelmed.
A cold truth hit everyone at once:
These demons were stronger than the heroes.
Much stronger.
Alir gasped while carrying a little girl.
Alir:
“What do we do now…
How do we stop them…?”
No one knew the answer.
