Chapter 16:

The Arrival of Teacher Magician X — Ajmal Borbhuyan

The Master of Heroes

The demon invasion had already destroyed half the city.

People were running, screaming, falling, and crying for help. Buildings were breaking down piece by piece. Heroes were fighting with all their strength, but the demons just kept coming. The giant portal in the sky showed no sign of stopping.

Sumit, Jirsong, Ram Sir, Alir, and many other heroes were doing everything they could to protect the people.

But the truth was clear.

The heroes were losing.
The demons were too strong.
And the invasion was far from over.

And at that moment, when everything seemed hopeless…

A new presence appeared.

A presence so powerful that even the demons stopped moving.

A new chapter of the war was about to begin.

The Air Changes

A deep vibration flowed through the city like a silent wave.

Everyone felt it:

The demons.
The heroes.
The injured.
Even those hiding underground.

It was a strange energy… strong, ancient, and calm.

Jirsong paused mid-fight.

Jirsong:
“What… is this energy? It’s different from anything I’ve felt before.”

Sumit also felt it.

Sumit:
“This power… I don’t know who it belongs to, but it’s not a demon.”

Serdihun and Serdihun 2, who were hiding behind a broken bus, felt their bodies shake—
not in fear…

But in awe.

Serdihun 2:
“Sis… something powerful is coming.”

Serdihun:
“Yes… but it doesn’t feel evil.”

Even the demon leader, fighting Ayon inside the building, stopped for a second.

Demon Leader (growling):
“What is this presence?
Who dares interfere with MY invasion?!”

Ayon smirked slightly, wiping blood from his mouth.

Ayon:
“Heh… looks like someone strong has arrived.”

The demon leader’s eyes narrowed.

The Sky Lights Up

The sky, still black and covered with darkness, suddenly began to glow.

Not white.
Not gold.

But blue. Magical blue.

A new, smaller portal slowly formed next to the giant demon portal. But this one wasn’t chaotic. It didn’t shake the air violently. It was calm, controlled, and perfectly shaped.

Heroes looked up in confusion.

Alir whispered:

Alir:
“Another portal? Don’t tell me… more demons are coming…”

Ram Sir narrowed his eyes.

Ram Sir:
“No. This portal feels different.
This is magic… pure magic.
Someone strong is opening this.”

Sparks danced around the edges of the portal.

Magical symbols floated out like glowing butterflies.

The demons began roaring and preparing to attack the portal.

But the portal suddenly exploded with light.

FWOOM!

A figure stepped out.

Floating in the air.

Calm, confident, powerful.

A man.

The Entrance of Ajmal Borbhuyan

He wore a long black and silver coat with ancient magic symbols glowing softly. His eyes radiated calm wisdom. A small magical aura shimmered around him like a halo. His hair moved as if touched by a gentle wind that no one else could feel.

He did not fall or fly.

He simply descended slowly, like gravity itself respected him.

The moment his feet touched the ground, the earth under him glowed with runes.

Everyone was speechless.

Even demons stepped back.

And then he spoke.

His voice was calm but powerful.

Ajmal Borbhuyan:
“I leave for a few days…
and this is what I return to?”

Heroes immediately recognized that voice.

Alir gasped loudly.

Alir:
“That’s… Ajmal Sir!? The Magician X!
He came back!”

Serdihun 2 grabbed Serdihun’s arm.

Serdihun 2:
“We’re saved… we’re really saved!”

Ram Sir actually smiled—something he rarely did.

Ram Sir:
“He finally returned…
Ajmal Borbhuyan… highest-ranked teacher magician.”

But the demons didn’t wait.

A group of ten demons leaped toward Ajmal at once.

Ajmal didn’t move.

He raised one finger.

One.

Ajmal (calm voice):
“Kneel.”

BOOM!

All ten demons were smashed flat into the ground by invisible magic pressure. The earth cracked beneath them.

The demons didn’t move again.

Serdihun 1 and 2’s jaws dropped.

Serdihun:
“W-We… We trained with all our effort…
and he defeats demons with a finger…”

Ram Sir walked to Ajmal’s side.

Ram Sir:
“You came just in time.”

Ajmal smirked lightly.

Ajmal:
“Well, someone has to clean up this mess.”

Demons Surround Ajmal

More demons rushed in, furious.

Some flew.
Some jumped.
Some fired dark energy blasts at him.

Ajmal waved his hand once.

Once.

And a giant magical barrier formed around him—perfectly round, shining blue.

The demon attacks bounced off like small pebbles hitting steel.

Ajmal:
“Children… you should have stayed in your own dimension.”

He raised his hand.

Five huge magic circles appeared in the sky.

Ram Sir stepped back, knowing what was coming.

Alir covered her mouth.

Serdihun whispered:

Serdihun:
“He’s not even trying yet…”

Ajmal snapped his fingers.

SWOOOOSH!

Beams of blue energy shot from the magic circles, hitting dozens of demons at once. Explosions shook the air. Entire groups of demons disintegrated instantly.

When the smoke cleared…

Not a single demon was standing.

Only Ajmal remained in the middle, hands behind his back, as if nothing happened.

Inside the Medical Room

Buddhist felt the vibration through the floor.

He looked toward the window.

A new energy filled his heart—warm, strong, comforting.

Buddhist (thinking):
“I know this magic...
Ajmal Sir is here…
We can win… we still have hope…”

Sengkan sat up slightly.

Sengkan:
“That teacher… he’s powerful.
No… he’s something more than powerful.”

Digangto smiled weakly.

Digangto:
“Maybe… this world won’t end today…”

Buddhist clenched his fist.

His eyes were full of determination again.

Ayon Still Fighting

Back inside the building, the demon leader felt Ajmal’s power and snarled.

Demon Leader:
“That human…
That magic…
It is dangerous.”

Ayon wiped sweat from his forehead.

Ayon:
“Dangerous?
He’s the strongest teacher we have.”

The demon leader roared angrily.

Demon Leader:
“I will kill him after I finish YOU!”

He charged at Ayon again.

Ayon raised his fists and continued the fight.

Ajmal’s Warning

Ram Sir approached Ajmal.

Ram Sir:
“Ajmal… the portal is still open.
More demons are coming.”

Ajmal looked up at the swirling black portal.

His face remained calm…
but his eyes turned serious.

Ajmal:
“That is not just a portal…
It is a gate.
And something else is coming through it.”

Alir looked scared.

Alir:
“Something else?
More demons?”

Ajmal slowly nodded.

Ajmal:
“Yes.
Stronger demons.
Much stronger.”

Serdihun 2 shivered.

Serdihun 2:
“How strong?”

Ajmal’s eyes narrowed.

His voice dropped.

Ajmal:
“The Demon King.
The strongest demon of their dimension.
If he comes out of that portal…
this entire world will be destroyed.”

Everyone went silent.

Even the wind stopped for a moment.

Ram Sir:
“Then… what do we do?”

Ajmal lifted his hand.

A giant magic circle began forming above him—bigger than anyone had ever seen.

Ajmal:
“We prepare.
We fight.
And we protect every human here.”

He looked at all the heroes.

Ajmal:
“The real battle begins now.”
