2: Drama Club

The school day is over before they know it. 

Miraru goes to meet Miss Hasegawa in the teachers' lounge. She jolts up from trying to sleep on the desk as she sees Miraru walk in. "Hello, Miss Hasegawa. I want to join the drama club that you supervise." They hand her the application paper.

Class- 1B
Reason for joining- I love acting.
Parents' approval- *signed*
Advisor's approval-
Club leader's approval- 

"You love acting, is that all?" Miss Hasegawa asks Miraru, who is already in a magician's suit (white blouse, black long coat, long black pants, and a top hat). She signs the club non-reluctantly. Miraru turns to tell the crowd at the door. "We've got it!" The crowd goes wild. "Thank you very much, Miss Hasegawa." She sighs. "Just don't cause any problems." 

The crowd takes Miraru to the drama club.  

The drama club is fragmented into several small sub-sects: Traditional arts, Musical theatre, and Anime and pop culture. Miraru needs the signature of one of these leaders to enter the drama club. 

Miraru auditions for each of them. "O Romeo Romeo, where art thou?" 

All of them reject Miraru. There are whispers that senior club members are afraid Miraru would steal their roles. The encouraging crowd disappears bit by bit. Senior director Shindo straight-up tells Miraru, "I heard the supernatural club is looking for help." He points at a door in a dark corner under the stairs. 

Miraru knocks on the door. "Come in!" 

Miraru goes inside. They would be flamboyant if they were not on the verge of desperation. They hand over the application form. "I would like to join this club, please."
