The Strange News

I woke up to a call from Clare at seven in the morning. I picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is Clare"

"I know."

"I have some weird news."

"What?"

" Well, I made dad drink water and...."

"Malfunction malfunction," said a robotic voice.

"That's weird" I said. "Who is that?"

Then I heard the dial tone.

"Hello?”

Something happened. I didn’t know what was going on. Why did the phone go to dial tone? Who was that robot?

Mom said Clare was a prankster like her and not to worry about it. I didn’t hear from my sister for months but mom kept saying don’t worry.

I turned 13 on August 13th. I went outside and I saw something really weird, I saw an army plane in the sky! I figured that Clare was in there. I waved then; I heard a scream and a strange sound.

“Let go you creep!” I heard a little girl screamed.

I didn’t remember who that was so I thought for a moment . It was Clare! Then I saw her jump out of the plane. I held my breath. Soon I couldn’t bear it. I closed my eyes and I heard a thump. I opened my eyes and I saw a human- shaped lump in the parachute. Thank God!! I ran over to expect a crying little girl hugging me tight but I saw an almost four foot tall girl in army clothes and her face was covered with scratches and burns, so was her whole body.

“Woah,” I said.
