INT. A PITCH BLACK ROOM, A VERY FADED PERSON STANDS IN THE MIDDLE

(A HUSKY, DARK TONED VOICE IS SPEAKING)

DARK VOICE: You’ve become one with darkness. Nothing is holding you back from your actions, except you. You brought this upon yourself. Let it overtake you.

SECOND VOICE: But... but...

( A white light shines onto this faded person, it grows bright and the scene transitions)

INT. THE BARTER’S HOUSEHOLD

HAYDEN: But…

(SHADES OPEN, BRIGHT LIGHT SHINES INTO HAYDEN’S FACE)

DAD BARTER: No buts! Get up, Grandma needs help cutting the lawn, bring your brother too.

HAYDEN: Ugh, okay, *ahem* Griff let’s go to Grandma’s and --

(Griffin barges into the room, cutting him off)

GRIFFIN: I already started the car! You can drive if you want too!

H: Great, thanks Griff, always one step ahead of the game.

G: Are you making fun of me or something?

H: Exactly the opposite Griff, (laughing) just get in the car.

(THEY BOTH GET IN THEIR CRAP CONVERTIBLE AND DRIVE TO THEIR GRANDMA’S. THE SCENE CUTS TO THEM ON THE HIGHWAY, DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY)

INT. BARTER BOYS CAR

(HAYDEN AND GRIFF ARE TALKING ABOUT SUMMER PLANS, HAYDEN GETS A MEAN HEADACHE WHILE DRIVING)

H: Yeah Zach said he could teach us thing or two about sword fighting, if you could teach him how to be one with nature.

G: That’s gonna be tough, I’m basically nature in human form, (Griff grows a plant in seconds in his hand) but I am always down for the challenge.

H: I like the gusto Griff, keep that up and-- AGH! (Hayden’s head starts pounding, the car swerves from losing focus)

G: Woah, Hayden look out!

H: Whoopsie heheh, my bad.

G: (With a worried look) Headaches again? A monster must be around...

H: I think you’re right. Call Zach and Thom, we may need their help.

(Griff starts calling Zach, Hayden drives towards the next exit, in hopes of finding the source of his oncoming headaches.)

ZACH’S VOICE ON THE PHONE: Hey its Zach..

G: Hey Zach we got a--

Z: -- Please leave a message..

G: Aw..

H: No answer?
G: No..

H: Well damn, I guess we gotta show this monster what the Barter boys have to offer!

G: Yeah!

H: It'll be like taking candy from a baby.

G: I mean not really but okay.

(They pull off of the next exit towards the New Bedway Docks)

INT. THE NEW BEDWAY DOCKS

(As they get closer to the docks driving they see the monster pops up in the distance, what looks like a giant grey werewolf, a dark aura surrounds the 15 foot tall, shredded beast. Hayden and Griff both stare at the beast while pulling up, as people are running away.)

H:...

G:...

H: Call Thom.

G: Yeah gotcha.

(Hayden gets out of the car, as Griff gets off the phone)

G: Yeah New Bedway Docks near the water, it’s your calling, see you in five! (He hangs up the phone)

H: Alright Mr. Big Bad Wolf, (yelling at the shadow wolf, he turns to Hayden, eyes glistening with a death glare at the brothers) so are you gonna come over here, huff and puff, and blow us down or something?

Shadow Wolf: I will rip you both limb from limb, eat all your insides and bring on the shear ferocity of ALL the shadows from the Void, consuming this earth in DARKNESS!(Snarling his teeth)

H: (Smiling) Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin…

G: Booooooooo...

(Hayden charges the beast)

H: Griff sweep left!

G: Whatever you say...

(HAYDEN LEAPS AND ROUNDHOUSES THE WOLF, KNOCKING OUT SOME TEETH, HE SWIPES HIS GIANT CLAWS, JUST MISSING HAYDEN AS HE DODGES, THEY CONTINUE TO FIGHT. THE FIGHT PLAYS OUT TO THE BEAT OF THE SONG. WHILE FIGHTING...)

SW: I see you are a shadow user as well. You are fighting on the wrong side.

H:I mean I don’t see anything wrong with it?

SW: Then you will die with this earth.

H: I’ll take my chances.

(FIGHTING ENSUES, AS THE TWO EXCHANGE BLOWS WITH EACH OTHER, GRIFF LOOKS TO BE MAKING SOMETHING BIG...)

H: Now Griff!

(GRIFF COMES IN FROM THE LEFT WITH A THICK LOG IN HAND, AND SMACKS THE WOLF IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD, KNOCKING HIM TO THE GROUND)

SW: Errr… ENOUGH!! (THE WOLF POUNDS THE GROUND AND A SHADOW SHOCKWAVE SENDS THE BROTHERS FLYING TO THE EDGE OF THE DOCKS)

YOUR LIVES WILL END SHORTLY! (The beast charges at them)

G: What should we do now?

H: Well has it been five minutes?

G: Not even close..

H: Well Thom was always known for making an early appearance.

(The beast jumps at them, locking up a fist, with the intent to kill, as he comes crashing down he is slightly interrupted… A cannon of rushing water shoots up from under the docks sending the beast flying high above Hayden and Griff. Thom pops his head up from the giant hole he has made in the dock)

H: Glad you could make it!

Thom: Glad I could be here.

G: Hey that wolf looks really angry now.

(Soaked, and beaten, the wolf starts charging another shadow attack, looking to go all out.)

SW: I guess this calls for another life to end!

(The boys also start charging, Thom loading up his Tsunami Fist, Griff charging his Nature’s Hammer, and Hayden bringing out his Shadow Rain Charge. The wolf charges, as the boys charge as well. Before any of them meet, the wolf explodes into a cloud of shadow from a shocking bolt of lightning, sending the boys flying. The monster’s shadow cloud flowing away into the sky. All the guys sit up from the shocking explosion.)

T: Well, that was anticlimactic.

G: What happened?

H: Not sure, someone got excited and hit that thing into next friggin week.

(A voice speaks up from behind them)

??: Wow I can’t believe I hit that shot, you boys might need to step up your game.

(They all turn)

T: And you are?

??: You don’t remember me?

H: I can’t say I do.
