More problems, More friends

It has been about 3 months since Karagopa and life in Fae haven has gotten better and better. For starters, the fairies have reconstructed there whole village to match there new sizes and even made a room for me in the improved town hall, though I dont stay there much cause I prefer the outdoors it was a nice gesture. There army has also improved alot with them making good use of my leaf steel.

The fairies have built statues of me, ingus and ventus as a way to say thanks and as a way to pray to us. Speaking of those two they do show up everynow and again to inform of how things are in heaven or to just get away from the stress of it. They also told me that Pestilentia liked my gift and gave me a gift from her. Fresh peaches from heaven which I happily devoured without a second thought

One day while I was in a tree enjoying some tasty fruit, a fairy flies up to me

"My lord, we have a problem"

"Relax" I tell the fairy. "Whatever it is I am sure you guys can handle it by yourselves"

"My lord, another race has shown up in the village and started picking a fight"

That's weird, if someone was to enter the forest I would know but I didnt sense anything. This is really troubling

"Alright" I tell to the fairy as I stand "What race are we dealing with?"

"That the problem my lord, we dont know"

Hearing this I realize this is no laughing matter I race back to the village

When we return, we see Goa and the army fighting some cloaked figures and it isn't looking good for Goa. Before anything else can happen I land infront of the two armies, doing a quick head check I realize there are about nine hundred thousand of these cloaked figures, strangely they I notice they are carrying somesort of tall box with pictures of animals on it. Before I can examine it further the tallest of the cloakd figures punches me so hard my head comes 

"It does'nt matter what tricks you do, this shall be a fine dwelling for us and our lord"

"It that so?"

The cloaked figures look in shock as I regrow my head. It was honestly my fault for letting my guard down, I could have easily blocked or dodged it.

"You." I point to the cloaked figure who took my head of. "You seem to the most powerful, explain who you are and what you want"

Before she can answer I hear a very familiar voice

"Wait, I know that voice."

Beofre any of use can react the black box the cloaked figures were carrying suddenly burst open with something jumping out and landing right in front of me, a girl. I hear that familiar voice again and knew what was coming next

"It is you"

I am suddenly tackled to the ground in a hug by the girl. Everyone is stunned while just annoyed 

"Can you get off me?" I get a hiss in response

Goa suddenly speaks up. "Leave master wood kong alone."

The girl starts laughing at him. "Really? Wood kong? You couldn't come up with anyother name?"

"It was the best I could think of. Now get off of me?" I get a lion's roar in response

After about an hour, the girl finally let's go of me

"I haven't seen you in such a long time, how are you?"

"Fine until you tackled me"

Suddenly Goa taps on my shoulder.

"My lord do you know this strange woman?"

Before I can speak I get interrupted by the girl.

"My name is Ζώο, and I am the-"

I interrupt her

"The goddess of animals"

I get punched in the face

"You cut me off dumbass"

"Only cause you cut me off first birdbrain"

She didn't like that and actually turned into a bird and started pecking my eye.

After she finished peeking out my eye I asked why she was here and who those cloaked figures were

"Oh yea, you all can let down your hoods"

At her command they do so and we are greeted by a bunch of people all with different animal traits. Some have lizards tails and legs while others jusy have cat ears. I look at Ζώο in shock and ask her one questions

'What the hell did you do?"

She looks away before answering

"So..... I was scared some of my followers would leave me for some of the other gods, so..... I might have..... fused as many of my followers with different animals as I could in order to prevent them from leaving me"

"Isn't it among gods to do without permission"

"Yes it is"

"Do you even have a name for these guys?"

"They are called beast folk."

"I am going to need you all to leave"

Ζώο and her beast folk all gasp as I said that. One with a crocodile tail as well the one who punched off my head steps forward 

"You vile creature, how dare you deny our lord a home."

A single stare from Ζώο gets her to keep quiet

"Sorry about Noma, she is my loyal follower. "

"It is fine, I understand. I still need you guys to leave, we probably dont have enough room for you guys"

"Oh come on, you can just use your power to expand the forest."

"I mean I can but that could cause some problems."

"Like what?"

"I dont want to deal with any other race showing up and causing problems, we already had goblins to deal with and I would prefer it if this village wasn't swarming with humans trying to hunt and capture fairies, you know how some humans are to other races right?"

"We can help you guys around the village."

"Like how, we are already doing fine when it comes to construction, defence and healthcare. What could you possibly offer us-"

"What about hunting?"

"Oh hunting is fine"

"I can help summon different animals to make it easier"

"No need, I can summon animals myself and you know this"

"Ya but I have stronger control over them and I can make it so that they wont show up anywhere in this forest"

"I can summon vegetables and fruits and we can live of that"

"But not in the long term"

.....

"You really aren't going to stop till I say you can stay"

"Yep"

"..... Fine, you and your followers can stay"

Ζώο and the beast folk celebrate as the fairies beg me to reconsider but I cant really do anything and seeing how they are going to stay with us and we dont have enough space I have no choice but to expand the forest. I don't increase it that much, atleast to a point were it won't interact with any nearby settlement.

"How did you guys even get in without me noticing"

"Oh, we just took a little detour through heaven"

"Wait, you can do that?"

"Nope, why do you think I am down here?"

I sigh. I can tell this is only going to get much worse
