Chapter 1: Magnitude 10

"THE WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED," and the old man screamed with his grizzly voice and with his old yellow microphone. Everyone just ignored him as just another crazy man with nothing to do as men in black came about, as they told him to leave due to him being public but he kept on repeating the same words, " THE WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED."

The men in black ignored his words and started beating him in an effort to make him shut up. But even in the process of getting beaten, he kept his composure and repeated the same words, "THE WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED.," Until he closed his eyes and floated into the afterworld, but his words could still be heard.

At the same time, in-country X, a large 40 foot animal with bright brown fur with black claws and a snout-like nose walked upon the buildings as if it were a bunch of tin cans and pulverized them to a bunch of rubble.

This beast loomed upon the people and stared at them as if they were a group of red ants ready to be smashed into nothing. This abnormally large creature crushed these humans who for it looked like ants! All you could hear was the rupture of the bone like structures of humans who shredded apart and mashed by this abnormally giant bear.

My flat screen tv roared as I sat up straight listening to what today's news had to say. There was a flash and the newsperson with this black suit, neatly combed head which had a bit too much gel piled upon it with big, black shoes, a bright red tie and a white shirt with black pants.

" A supposed 10 magnitude earthquake has occurred, seismologists can not explain the collapsing of such sturdy building without a 10 magnitude earthquake even though there are no known, tectonic plates under Country X let alone 2 to meet and cause such a catastrophe."

45 million citizens have been to be reported dead and only about 5 million seem to have survived. 90% percent of the population has been wiped out.

Many citizens that had survived seem to have sighted a 40-foot bear, which had caused such a calamity, but the nearby scholars deduced that the earthquake cause a gas leakage from the powerplant and it caused the citizens to hallucinate that such a large creature have existed but how have all the surviving people hallucinated the same thing? I was struck with lightning with shock. "45 MILLION PEOPLE DIED!" I thought with serious concern. " 45 million people can not just die with a single earthquake." I thought. "RIKU TENSHI, ARE YOU READY TO GO TO SCHOOL!" my mum screeched at the top of her lungs as I jumped as if a ghost appeared in front of me. Getting up quickly, I scrambled to wear my uniform and forgot about the news, only focusing on running as fast as I could to school.
