Chapter 26:

The most wonderful time of the year with a cute tsundere [Special]

Will you give this cute tsundere love?

Nina smiled as we stood together before my neighbor's house. The green and red lights perfectly draped everything, creating a calming sight to behold. And that's not the only neighbor with good stuff. The guy next store went all-out with the lights, and has a Santa in the window.

"For your birthday, want me to make this neighborhood a world heritage site so the lights stay up year-round?" I asked.

"That's something you'd be more into," Nina pouted. "Although, you really looked so joyful when you put up the lights on our house."

Ah yes. I've always loved putting up lights, but this year, I felt far more jovial. I had things up the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, as I believe to a fault you should never put lights up before Thanksgiving and never take them down before January 3rd. Why the third? Because I want the new year to have at least two nights of exposure to the lights before it has to wait until the end of its lifespan to see them again.

"Why not take a picture with all these great houses in the background? Ours, and our neighbors?" I suggested.

"You're lucky you already gave me my presents," Nina smiled as we took three memorable photos.

What a lovely Christmas it has been.
