The Encounter Part 2

A six foot robot came out of the UFO port. I saw the terror in Clare’s eye. I was scared too. Then ,I saw a strange green webbed hand reached and pulled the robot away. Then I saw it, the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. A short, green, black eyed alien stepped out.

Breath Stephan, breath, I thought.

“Hello, earthlings, ready to meet your fate---I mean fun?” the alien said in a sly mischievous voice, like the Joker from Batman.

“Wait, this is a---” I started to say when the alien threw a bomb on the floor. Then I started to drift off. The last thing I saw was Clare’s hand reaching for me.

“ Stephan,” she said as I closed my eyes.
