Chapter 26:
Revenge Is Sweet - The Ventures Of James Belfork In Another World
[POCKET DIMENSION]
(SCENE)James was caught spying on some people talking in the dungeon and found himself sucked into some weird pocket dimension (Small World).
After landing in a crimson red forest, James looked around for a second before calling Ein.
~{DIALOGUE}~James Belfork: “Ein, where are we?“ *Concerned*
Ein Felheart: “This looks to be a pocket dimension.”
James Belfork: “A pocket dimension?”
James Belfrok: “Whats that? And how did we end up in a pocket dimension?”
Ein Felheart: “Kid, remember how we got caught eavesdropping on those people in the dungeon.”
Ein Felheart: “They’re probably the reason why we’re here.”
James Belfork: “Since you know it's a pocket dimension, do you know of a way to get out of here?”
Ein Felheart: “To my knowledge, the only way to escape a pocket dimension is to either get teleported out by the person that placed you in it, or to try and destroy it from the inside out.”
James Belfork: “It's obvious that we probably won’t get let out, so how do we destroy the pocket dimension?”
Ein Felheart: “If you want to destroy the pocket dimension, then you either have to absorb all the mana that’s in it, or you have to break the mana pool under the pocket dimension.”
(SCENE)James opened his system menu and looked through all the skills and abilities he had to try and find something that would help him either destroy the dimension's mana pool or absorb all the mana that's in the pocket dimension.
After a few seconds of scrolling and looking at all his ability descriptions, James saw that his main skill, ‘Gluttony,’ would actually be the perfect fit to use as a means of absorbing all the mana in the pocket dimension.
James activated his ‘Gluttony’ skill and began to try to absorb all the mana that there was in the pocket dimension.
Minutes passed as James activated his skill, and nothing much really happened, so he called for Ein again.
~{DIALOGUE}~James Belfork: “Ein. It’s been well over 5 minutes of using my Gluttony skill at its max, and nothing's even happened within my vicinity, whats going on here?”
Ein Felheart: “The pocket dimension might be made by someone who far surpasses your current skills.”
James Belfork: “So then your saying that we’re stuck here?”
Ein Felheart: “No, if you were alone, then you’d be stuck for sure, but you have me here, so I've got a way out.”
James Belfork: “So what do I need to do to get out of here?”
Ein Felheart: “I’ll teach you some magic that will allow you to stack your skills on top of each other near infinity, so long as you have enough mana.”
James Belfork: “You know I’ve got well more than enough mana for that. So whats the spell called, and how do I use it?”
Ein Felheart: “It's called ‘Overkill,’ and you can cast it using body enhancement magic with a mixture of all element magic at your disposal, to create the skill.”
Ein Felheart: “It should only take about 10 minutes. I’ll transmit the knowledge needed to make the skill directly into your brain, so you don’t waste time trying to cast the magic.”
