{THE DEMON REALM}

Fae Harlow meets a hooded demon-like person in the depths of the demon realm, in the hopes of making a deal.

Fae introduces himself to the hooded character, and they tell him to follow them elsewhere.

When Fae gets to the location, the hooded character asks them to go, and two more people appear. The hooded character asks Fae to go on a business venture with them and proceeds to explain what they want to do.

Fae Harlow: “So what do you have planned for this so-called ‘business’ you want me to be involved in?”

Hooded Character: “We need your help distributing a substance around Zalon.”

Fae Harlow: “A substance? Do you mean drugs or something?”

Hooded Character: “If that's the way you wanna put i,t then yeah.”

Fae Harlow: “And what do I have to gain from helping you distribute this?”

Hooded Character: “What else would the be to get other than power and money?”

Fae Harlow: *Laughs* “Power..? Money..? I have plenty of that already.”

Hooded Character: “Just being the son of a noble doesn't get you everything. What we’re offering you is even better. It's a chance to rule over the whole Nation, not just sit by the bleachers and follow what hundreds of others told you to do.”

Fae Harlow: “Well, now you’ve piqued my interest. So what exactly does this drug do anyway?”

Hooded Character: “It turns people into demons, allowing them to surpass human limits and extend their life spans.”

Fae Harlow: “Well, that's quite intriguing, so what are the side effects?”

Hooded Character: “The people who consume the substance become easy to control and follow orders well, while still keeping their intelligence to some degree.”

Fae Harlow: “So your goal is to turn everyone in Zalon into demons that you can control?”

Hooded Character: “Not us… You.”

Fae Harlow: “Well, I like the sound of that, but if I ever get caught as a supplier, there's no guarantee that I’ll make it out alive, even with how strong I am.”

Hooded Character: “There's no need to be so worried, we only need you to get us a means of getting into Zalon, and we’ll have our people distribute the drugs, so even if they get caught, it won’t lead to people finding out that you’re an accomplice in the matter.”

Fae Harlow: “I see, but whats the point of getting so much power, if I won’t even live one fourth as long as those that’d be under my command?”

Hooded Character: There's a solution for that.”

Fae Harlow: “And what would that be? Taking the drug that would make me no better than those I seek to control?”

Hooded Character: *Chuckles* “No, no. We have another drug that works in the same manner, but turns people into greater demons, instead of low-tier scum.”

Fae Harlow: “That sounds appealing, but wouldn’t my appearance change to be one of that as a demon?”

Hooded Character: “We have artifacts that allow one to change their appearance at will that we could lend you if that's to be an issue.”

Fae Harlow: “Alright, give me the drug. I trust that you wouldn’t mislead me into becoming one of your henchmen.”

Hooded Character: *Grins* “We wouldn’t dream of such.”

Fae is given a small pill by the hooded character after a moment's notice and proceeds to ingest the drug. The hooded character shows a slight grin as Fae digests the pill.

After a few seconds, as Fae falls to the ground in pain, the hooded character begins to loudly laugh with their associates that are in the room and call Fae stupid for thinking that they wouldn’t use the opportunity to turn him into one of their pons.

Fae clenches his chest while kneeling on the floor, and tries to use his magic to remove the substance from his body, but he fails miserably as he notices that his bones break and limbs shred to pieces as they slowly start rebuild themselves.

Minutes pass by as what Fae thinks is hours, and eventually his pain subsides, and he is fully transformed into a demon.

Fae pushes himself off the floor and tries to attack the hooded character, but is immediately stopped when the hooded character says ‘Still.’

Fae begins to shout out, but the hooded characters are unfazed and tell Fae that his efforts are futile, as once he turned into a demon, he was completely under their control.

Fae swears at them for a bit longer before cooling his head off and asking the hooded characters more questions.

Fae asked if what they promised him before was still on the table, and the hooded characters said it was, and that when the time came,e he would get what he desired, but they needed to start distributing the drugs first before that was to happen.
