Chapter 17:

Dream

The Brainwashing of Becca Sunshine

The Amazons threw Becca onto her own bed.

She fought, but the thin woman was there, with a mask for her face.

Gas, to seep away her consciousness.

Becca’s vision grayed out. The room spun. The image of Art’s lifeless body on the floor dissolved.

She started falling.

Through the floor. Through the foundation.

She landed on sand.

Soft and fleshy.

She stood up.

She was on a beach.

She looked up.

The sky was a deep sapphire.

And in the center of it, hanging like a moon, was a heart.

Massive. Wet. Beating.

It’s pulse vibrated in Becca’s teeth.

-Your are here, a voice echoed.

She looked down the beach.

Art was there.

He was naked. Glowing. Whole.

He walked toward her.

-We’re entangled, she heard him think.

-I thought you died, Becca thought back.

-We died.

He stepped up to her and then into her.

His skin melted into hers. His ribs interlocked with hers like the gears of a clock.

Becca gasped as she felt his sex over hers, taking her from the inside out.

She felt his jaw unhinge and start to suck her face and swallow her head.

She slid down his throat.

She flowed through his veins. She curled up in the chamber of his heart.

They lay together on the beach. A single organism.
