Defending the Temple

Suddenly out of the nowhere they started hearing screams and scary animal noises. They look around frightened to identify the source of those screaming's.

"What is this?" Ryota asked afraid as he hold tightly his katana

"Demons" Ryosuke said holding also his katana in defence

"A lot of demons...and very angry demons" Sayaka said while holding her hands up in a alert position ready to cast a shield spell.

Then out of nowhere demons started to come from every direction and gathering in front of the main temple and stand against them. Some of them were walking on two while others demons walking on four legs, others where flying while some of them where even crawling on the ground screaming and cursing. They yelled and screamed various curses while they were spiting and gnashed their sharp teeth.

"DAMN YOU, YOU EXCORCISTS"

"DEMON MURDERS"

"DIE YOU HUMAN PIGS"

"YOU AND YOUR FILTHY KIND ARE FINISHED"

All of them where holding various kind of weapons like tridents, swords, sharp knifes, crescent axes and halberds. A few demon's were bigger size above 9 foot tall and they were holding huge spiked wooden bats. They look at them with pure hatred and madness on their eyes.

"Well, maybe it will be a good idea to retreat" Ryota said nervously as he stood alert

"Are you kidding, it's been so long since i had a good fight  and those losers are ready to give me one" Ryosuke said with his eyes gleaming with excitement, something Ryota haven't seen till now but somehow it makes him feel less nervous

"Are you sure about that? They must be like 20-30 demons in front of us"

"Which mean's we will get our share equally of each one of them"

"Ehe, if you say so..." Ryota gulped nervously but also sharing a small rush of excitement through his veins as he looked at his enemies

"Listen stick close to Sayaka and leave the 9 foot tall demons to me, okay?"

"You don't have tell me twice, and be careful too"

"Oh i'll be very careful" Ryosuke said ready to attack "Careful not to stain my clothes from their blood" he said sarcastically before he start running with inhuman speed and jumped to one of the tallest demons and send his head off with a single swing with his katana. The rest of the giant demons growl in rage and turn to Ryosuke ready to strike him with their weapons.

"That's right come to me, here's fresh meat...for me of course" he whispered as he started dodging their strikes and with every chance slice off their hands or legs.

While Ryosuke was fighting the huge demons, and apparently enjoying it too, the rest of the demons started charging against Sayaka and Ryota. He raised his katana ready to attack, while Sayaka hold his sleeve

"Wait" then as the demons got closer then she raised her hands on the sky and said:

"Let there be light" a huge beam of light appeared and made all demons stopped and cover their eyes while screaming in pain.

"Now Ryota"

"On it" Ryota charges to the demons and slice two of them while their covering their eyes. Sayaka followed his lead and raise his right hand against a group of demons who were crawling on the ground trying to cover their eyes.

"Silver Judgment" she yelled and dozens of magical silver spikes appeared above her in the air, sharp spikes that looked like they could slice anything with ease. When she dropped her hand down they all fall with extreme speed on the demons nailing them to death and piercing their bodies on the ground before they disappeared in black ash.

Some demons started to trying to defence their selves swinging around their weapons in distress, but Ryota dodge every attack and kill them down.

The flying demons had avoid the light beam and charged against them holding their long spears ready to stab them from above.

Sayaka raised her hand fast with dangerous glint in her eyes and said "Freeze" suddenly their bat wings turned to ice and the demons fell towards the ground, unable to fly, they crashed into many pieces of ice.

"Burned in the fire" Sayaka yelled and the ground bellow the demons turned into fire burning them. The demons screamed in pain as they were burning alive.

Meanwhile Ryosuke was still fighting the 9 foot tall demons killing them one by one. One of them raised his spiked wooden bat and put he down with force to strike him raising a cloud of dust from the strike. When dust was cleared Ryosuke was nowhere to be found, the demon looked around confused and alert before raised his head and saw Ryosuke coming down with force and strike his whole body vertically in a half. After killing all the huge demons, Ryosuke joined Ryota and Sayaka fighting the rest of the demons.

Even though a lot of time had passed since the fight had started, the demons didn't increased and lot of them keep coming from other sides of the temple. Ryosuke and Ryota started  to getting tired while Sayaka begin to focusing to magic defence.

"Something isn't right, why they keep attacking when we are overpowered them already" Ryosuke asked as he stab one demon on the chest and pull out quickly to keep pushing the demons back

"Those demons seems, to have specific orders against this temple" Sayaka said as cast a wind spell to cast away five flying demons

"That's impossible, only an Archdemon can cast such direct orders" Ryosuke said annoyed

"Even so, those demons doesn't seem to give up" Ryota said panting while he cut off one demon's leg and made him retreat in pain.

"GGRRRRRR" abruptly they heard a loud rumbling  and then huge steps which they made earth to shake, in front of them they saw a group of demons pulling a huge chain with force. Then the saw a huge creature with a chain around his neck as the demons were pulling him. It had a monstrous size about 20 feet tall walking on his two feet, it had huge ox horns on his head and its eyes were like a goat's, a shiny yellow colour with rectangular pupils. Its skin was deep brown and furry, its teeth were like bulldogs and it growled. It wore a belt made by human bones on his large belly. This beast was holding a huge wooden club on his right hand and waved it threateningly towards them.

Everyone look dumbfounded this large beast in front of them, Ryota whispered to Ryosuke 

"Maybe now it's a good time to retreat?" he asked hm lower as he looked to the beast approaching...
