Yaachi

Yuna wakes up. She was on her bed, the nightmare from yesterday flashed into her mind. She sat up, and got dressed. She left her apartment, and grabbed her bike. Biking back north, near the dam. She made her way to the Utaki. Getting off her bike, and entering the cave. She bowed, and clapped three times, before bowing again. “Jiichi, please. Make things go well today. I ask that you give me the strength to deal with the Akuma, when it comes back. Unless you want to deal with that yourself. Please Jiichi, please help me.” Yuna said quietly. The Mabui around her shined blue, and green. She ran her fingers through the Mabui, feeling the warmth of it on her fingers. She walked out of the Utaki, and grabbed her bike, and leaving the forest

Yuna rode her bike to Hiroko’s house, she got off, and rang the doorbell. Hiroko’s mother answered the door. “Yuna, how nice. Hiroko hasn't woken up yet.” she said, letting Yuna in. “Thank you.” Yuna said, walking into the house. Yuna went to Hiroko’s door, and knocked on it. “I wouldn’t disturb her, she gets pretty grouchy without proper sleep. Come on over here, and help me with breakfast.” Hiroko’s mother said. “Alright.” Yuna said, walking away from the door.

Hiroko woke up, and went about her regular morning routine. She showered, and put on makeup, before heading to breakfast. She sat down at the kitchen table, next to her mother. “Finally. Did you enjoy your beauty rest?” Yuna asked, startling Hiroko. “When did you get here?” Hiroko asked, standing up. “A while ago.” Yuna said. Hiroko hugged Yuna. “I helped make breakfast.” Yuna said. “You didn’t poison it did you?” Hiroko teased. “Why would I?” Yuna asked. Hiroko sat back down, and ate breakfast. Afterwards the two headed out, and they walked to the amusement park.

Ramon walked down the street reaching the Amusement park entrance. “If you give me what you want, I'll give you what you want. A new life, free from the evil you harbor.” the Akuma said, a memory from before. “Don’t go in without me.” Yusuke said, running up to Ramon. “Who are you?” Ramon asked. “Seriously, Yusuke, my name is Yusuke. Remember it.” Yusuke said annoyed. “Ah, alright. We still going in together?” Ramon asked. “I guess.” Yusuke responded. “Just to let you know, this doesn’t make us friends. Beings like me don’t do friends.” Ramon said, walking away. “So we are more than that?” Yusuke joked, following after. “I will hit you.” Ramon said. “You don’t do jokes, do you? Whatever, I plan on finding and annoying Hiroko as soon as possible.” Yusuke said. “Do you like her?” Ramon asked. “I can’t tell you, after all we aren't friends.” Yusuke said. Ramon rolled his eyes.

Ramon bought tickets for the two, and they walked into the amusement park, immediately coming across Yuna and Hiroko who had also just walked in. Yusuke laughed. “No, go away.” Hiroko said. “Heartless.” Yusuke said. “What a coincidence that we happened to be here at the same time as you two.” Yuna said. “Yep a coincidence.” Ramon said. “Who planned this was it you?” Hiroko said, pointing at Ramon. “No.” Ramon said blankly. “Someone did.” Hiroko said. Yuna got behind Hiroko and pushed her forward. “Onward, we are wasting time, let's get on some rides.” Yuna said. “Can we tag along?” Yusuke asked. “No!” Hiroko said. “It doesn't matter, as long as we are having fun.” Yuna said, pushing Hiroko. “Really?” Hiroko asked, annoyed. “Nice, Ramon, we are tagging along.” Yusuke said. Hiroko sighed, and accepted it, starting to walk. “So group, what ride first? Oh what about that one?” Yusuke asked, rushing ahead, pointing to a roller coaster. “Hey, I chose first, you have already been here last year.” Hiroko said, rushing after him.

“I give it a few months until they realize why they like annoying each other so much.” Ramon said. “What do you mean?” Yuna asked. “I’ll tell you when you are older.” Ramon joked. The group made their way to the first roller coaster. Hiroko sat down first in the cart, and Yusuke followed. “No move, that’s Yuna’s spot.” Hiroko said. “I was here first.” Yusuke said, grinning at Hiroko. “It’s fine, I’ll get the one behind you.” Yuna said, getting into the cart. Ramon sat next to her. “Well this is unnerving.” Ramon said. “How so?” Yuna asked. “This is my first time on a roller coaster. Is the cart supposed to look rusty, and rickety?” Ramon said. “No, I don't think so. But I'm sure it’s good.” Yuna said. “You’re sure, that means nothing.” Ramon said. “It means enough.” Yuna said. The announcer said something, and the roller coaster started moving. “I dislike this already.” Ramon said. The cart started going up a hill. “Well you are about to hate it in a few seconds.” Yuna said. “Why?” Ramon asked. The cart reached the top of a hill, and Ramon looked around, noticing. “Well, I'll be da-.” Ramon started getting cut off as the Roller coaster zoomed off the hill, and through the track.

The group find themselves enjoying the day. They did a few more roller coasters. Hiroko started warming up to Yusuke and the two started having fun. Yuna and Ramon got closer, and Hiroko noticed, feeling distant. Eventually the group got some food, Yuna got some Takoyaki. They sat down at a table to eat, Hiroko sat next to Yuna, and the guys had yet to arrive. “This guy is annoying me.” Hiroko said. “What guy?” Yuna asked. “Really, are you that oblivious?” Hiroko asked. “Do you mean Yusuke?” Yuna asked. “Of course I am.” Hiroko said. “Are you not having fun?” Yuna asked. “Uh-. No, of course not.” Hiroko said, annoyed, and flustered. “I saw you guys, joking and having fun.” Yuna said. “That’s enough.” Hiroko said. “What’s enough?” Yusuke asked. “Nothing!” Hiroko said, as her cheeks were red. Yuna took a bite into her Takoyaki, and saw a plush from a carnival game, it resembles a coconut crab. Yuna jumped, hitting her knees on the table, and started to choke on her Takoyaki. Hiroko and Yusuke stood up, but before they could do anything Ramon appeared, and performed a Heimlich on Yuna. “Thanks.” Yuna said, wiping drool from her mouth. Hiroko looked at them. “What was that about?” Ramon asked. “Coconut crab.” Yuna said quietly. Yusuke laughed at the answer, and Hiroko hit him. “Knock it off.” Hiroko said. “Let me buy you another one?” Ramon said.

Hiroko watched as Yuna and Ramon had fun together, walking back towards the food vendors. Joking, and laughing. A look of worry crosses Hiroko’s face. Yusuke looked back at Hiroko, and the two looked at each other. Both of them looked away from each other, Yusuke looked up front, watching, and Hiroko looked to the side, thinking. Yuna laughs again. “I knew it, I am jealous.” Hiroko said to herself, looking at Yuna and Ramon. A moment sat in silence, before the sound of flesh ripping. Hiroko looked around, not noticing anything, but she saw Yusuke and Ramon turned around, and look at her. Yusuke’s face shot with worry as Hiroko noticed a sword protruding from her chest. Ramon looked over at a tall tower, the Akuma from before stood, and smiled. Did it throw the blade? Pitch black, and evil the blade was. Hiroko wasn’t able to say anything, only a whimper escaped her lips.
