Act 0: Prologue

"I"M TIRED"

After an exhausting day at school Mako stumbles on to her porch after yelling her frustrations, much to her neighbors annoyance. " SHUT UP" shouts her neighbor. The old hag always complains so Shinku doesn't take notice of this. As she walks inside she takes in the comfy atmosphere of her apartment before she plops herself on the couch.

"knock"

As soon as she hears the door knock she knows exactly who it was. She lazily gets up and opens the door. She sees the familiar face of the Mailman who gives her a single letter. She quickly closes the door. Who would write me she thought since she doesn't have any friends by choice nor close family members that would contact her. Especially after her parents died in a car accident two years ago. She proceeds to open the letter.

Hey sis it's been awhile, when you receive this letter it's probably already been months since I send it cuz Im tooo lazy to sendd it.

Somehow his writing is worse than a middle schoolers which is very embarrassing for a guy in his mid twenties

I wanted to know if you would like to come live with me. I'd hate that my little sis is having too drop out of school just to support herself. I know you've been working odd jobs for money.

Her brother has a point. She'll eventually be taken in to a foster due to still being underaged. This letter somehow brought back emotions that she thought were long gone. As if her brother just gave her the opportunity she was always looking for, with tears down her face she ran straight to her room and started to pack her things.

Little does she know the dark path that awaits her.
