Chapter 15:
Skyfall Zero ( Arc-1)
Then, Ren and Hina walk toward their classroom, both looking excited and happy. When they reach the door, Ren gently opens the door. Both Ren and Hina come inside the classroom.
They look around and see that most of the students are already seated. The room is quiet, filled with curious eyes. Then, Ren and Hina quickly walk to their desks and sit down, their hearts beating with anticipation for what comes next.
Just then, the teacher enters the classroom. All the students instantly become serious and sit straight.
Then, the homeroom teacher looked nervous and said, “ G-Good morning, everyone,” she says. “I am Sae Chabashira, and I am 26 years old. I will be your homeroom teacher. Now, I want each of you to introduce yourselves.”
A girl stands up first and says, “My name is Yuki. I live in Tokyo, and my hobbies are reading and gardening.”
Another girl stands and says, “My name is Mei. I am from Hokkaido, and I like watching movies.”
Next, a boy stands up confidently and says, “My name is Ryan. I am from New York, America. My hobby is basketball.”
Another boy stands up calmly and says, “My name is Akira. I am from Tokyo, and I like gaming.”
A girl with elegant posture stands next and says, “My name is Lily. I am from Berlin, Germany.”
Then Hina stands, smiling softly and says, “My name is Hina. I am from Tokyo, and my hobby is cooking.”
Finally, Ren stands and says,“My name is Ren. I live in Tokyo, and my hobbies are gaming and reading manga.”
After everyone finishes, the teacher claps her hands lightly. “Thank you for your introductions,” she says with a gentle smile.
On the other hand, in Class 1-B, everyone has finished their introductions, and the class atmosphere feels very lively and relaxed. Everyone had gathered around Miku, sitting close as they surrounded her with curiosity and Negi also.
Alya came forward, looking at Miku with shining eyes and said, “Miku… you’re from a royal family, right? Tell us, how does it feel?”
Yue joins in, curious and says, “Yeah! What kind of rules does a royal family have to follow?”
Neko also says, “ Miku.. you are living every girl's dreams. Every girl wants to be born into a royal family and wait for a prince. Ahhhh… how romantic it is!”
Negi also sits beside him and enjoys their conversation, then he says in a funny way, “Miku…Miku…Miku…. Why are you not saying something? Please tell us something, please don't break a cute girl's heart…. By the way, you are also cute.”
Miku answers calmly, her expression unchanged.
“Just normal royal family rules.”
Seeing their disappointed faces, she adds in a cold tone,
“If you want more information, open Google. It will tell you everything.”
Negi says in a dramatic and teasing tone.
“Boo. You’re so bossy, princess”
Then, Alya grabs Negi’s shoulder in a playful way and says, “Negi, you’re the only boy in this class. Aren’t you nervous about what we girls might do to you?”
Negi raises his hands like he’s surrendering and says, “I’m scared! Someone save this innocent boy! My hero came and saved me from these bad girls! And I'm not lose hope.” in a funny way.
The whole class couldn't control their laughter, and were laughing loudly.
For just a brief moment, a tiny smile appears on Miku’s face. It’s so faint that no one notices… except Negi. He sees it — and feels happy to see the first smile on Miku's face— but he doesn't say anything.
Soon, the students begin talking about their home countries, sharing stories and jokes.
Slowly, Class 1-B’s bond starts forming.
Meanwhile, the scene returns to Class 1-A.”
The homeroom teacher speaks again, her tone calm but soft. “Everyone, we will now go to the ground,” she says. “There, we will conduct a practical test of your powers. It will also allow your classmates to know about each of your powers.
The students exchange excited looks, curiosity rising in the room and they going toward the ground area.
All the students reach the training ground. The homeroom teacher stands in front of them and speaks.
“Students, when I call your name, come forward, show your power, and explain it briefly. First — Mei.”
Mei came forward confidently. She activates her power. Two giant red hands appear in the air, floating beside her.
“These hands are created by my power,” Mei explains. “I have full control over them, and I can move them anywhere within a hundred meters.”
The teacher was impressed and said, “Very useful ability.”
The students clap.
“Next — Ryan,” the teacher calls.
Ryan walks forward with confidence. “My power is super speed. I can run up to one hundred miles per hour.”
Before anyone can notice him, he already runs around the entire ground and returns to his spot in just a few seconds. Dust swirls behind him.
The teacher and students look at in shock.
“Next — Lily.” teacher says
Lily came forward calmly. She raises her hand. Cold air spreads, and gentle snow begins to fall over the ground.
“I can control ice,” she says softly.
Everyone looks up at the snowfall, amazed by her power, and the teacher says, “ very beautiful, but dangerous power.”
“Next — Akira,” the teacher calls.
Akira comes forward and raises his hand. A glowing barrier comes in front of him like a transparent wall.
“My power is shields,” he says. “I can create defensive barriers. They can even withstand explosions.”
The teacher smiles and says, “A very useful power.”
The students clap again.
“Next — Yuki.” the teacher says
Yuki walks forward quietly. Soft light gathers around her, and three energy beasts appear.
A sharp-eyed wolf lands on the ground.
A proud eagle spreads its wings in the air.
A solid tortoise stands beside her like a living shield.
“I can create three energy beasts,” Yuki says and explains her power. “The wolf is for combat battles, the eagle for air battles and escape in an emergency and the last tortoise for protection.”
The teacher looks impressed. “A very unique power.”
“Next — Hina.”
Hina comes forward. Golden strips shoot out from her hands, dancing through the air like ribbons. She moves them with smooth control, wrapping and releasing them effortlessly.
“Excellent control,” the teacher says with approval.
“And finally — Ren.”
Ren walks to the front. He takes a breath and says, “My power is fully energy-based. My body produces energy, and I can use it in many forms.”
Then, Ren releases energy waves from his body. Bright energy flows coming outward in all directions, forming ripples around him like tides.
Oh? Very interesting,” the teacher says.
After everyone shows their abilities, the teacher finishes writing her report. Then she leads the class back toward the classroom.
On the other side, Class 1-B also finishes their practical power. Now they sit together, enjoying ice cream under the open sky.
Yue takes a spoonful of strawberry ice cream and smiles. “Mmm… strawberry is really the best flavour in ice cream.”
Beside her, Neko happily eats three different flavors at once. “I could even give my life for ice cream,” she says dramatically.
Negi laughs and looks at Alya and says, “Alya, your power is seriously amazing. You can create ice cream of any flavor. This is heaven for us — we can eat ice cream anytime! You are a goddess, Alya,”
Alya waves her hand shyly and says, “Thank you, everyone. I’m glad you like my ice cream.”
Nearby, Miku quietly eats blueberry ice cream and says, “Thank you for the ice cream, Alya,” her tone is calm.
Alya says, It's okay, Miku “
Class 1-B continues laughing and talking , enjoying their ice cream together as their new bond slowly grows stronger.
Then, Scene shifts back to Class 1-A.
The students return to the classroom after the power practical. Then, the homeroom teacher continued teaching the remaining subjects. Time passed quickly, and before anyone realized it, evening had arrived.
Then— The school bell rang.
Riiing—Riiing!
That meant the class was finally over.
The teacher smiled and said,
“Alright students, before you leave, I’m giving you homework. You must complete it by tomorrow.”
The whole class became sad and says
“Aaahhh~!”
The teacher then spoke in a serious tone, “This homework is important, so you have to finish it. And remember, behave peacefully in the dormitory. No unnecessary trouble.”
After saying that, the teacher left the classroom. Slowly, the students began packing their bags and leaving the room.
Hina came over to Ren and said, “Come on, Ren.”
Ren replied while closing his bag, “Wait a moment, let me finish packing.”
After packing his backpack, Ren stood up. Then, the two of them left the classroom together and went toward the dormitory.
Their first day at the academy had gone really well.
