Chapter 32: Are You Really Arguing About a Few Hundred Bones Right Now?

Kyle, the Son of the Profane Moon, was instantly enraged. He had just made his grand entrance, looking handsome and cool. And immediately, a black ball smashed into his face.

Kyle’s expression turned iron-blue. His muscles bulged. He looked down at Lynn with a ferocious glare.

"A puny human dares to ride on a Demon's head? Don't worry. I will slice his head off and display it for all to see!"

ROAR. He shrieked, revealing vampire fangs. Massive bat wings unfurled behind him.

WHOOSH. He dove straight toward Moon Orchid City like a supersonic missile. The sky changed color from his terrifying aura.

[ Meanwhile: Outside the City ]

Freya, the Thorn Witch, was still toying with Nanako and the Knights. She laughed mockingly.

"Lord Kyle is one of the Demon Lord's strongest servants! Did you know? He used to be a noble Vampire Progenitor!" "After receiving the Demon Lord's blessing, his power is beyond human imagination!"

She smiled faintly, full of confidence.

"Forget about you guys. Even if a Mage God or a War God came, they wouldn't dream of defeating Lord Kyle!"

[ Moon Orchid City ]

A sound that shattered the earth echoed.

Just as Freya finished hyping him up... A foot connected with Kyle’s cheek.

Axus (Head) trembled. "Tell... Tell you what?"

Summoning the last of his strength, Kyle whispered: "Why didn't you tell me... he was this strong..."

Axus cried, snot bubbling from his nose. "I wanted to! But you were too reckless! You just dove in! You were too fast!"

"I... f*ck..." Kyle raised a trembling hand. But he collapsed again. He had no strength left to curse.

"Big Bro! Don't scare me! Are you okay?!" Axus wailed.

Kyle stared at the sky, blood leaking from his nose. "I'm... I'm fine..."

Axus: "R-Really?"

Kyle mumbled: "It's just that... 400 bones in my body are broken... I can't feel my limbs anymore..."

Axus froze. "Big Bro... but we only have around 200 bones in total..."

Kyle stared at him with dead eyes. "It's... it's already come to this..." "Are you really arguing with me about the math right now?... Does... does it matter if it's 200 or 400?..."

Hic. Kyle’s head tilted to the side. His legs straightened. His eyes rolled back. Foam foamed at the mouth. [ Status: Unconscious ]

Freya spread her arms, back facing the city, smiling elegantly.

Behind her, the sky turned blood red. A massive, bloated hand reached out of the rift. A gigantic Cyclops squeezed his way into the material plane.

ROAR. The Cyclops, taller than a skyscraper, landed in Moon Orchid City.

Nanako and the Knights were in despair. "Another... Another High-Tier Demon Lord... Why? What are they after?!" Arnold shouted angrily.

Freya smirked. "I suppose it doesn't hurt to tell you. What could possibly make the Demon Lord descend personally?"

"Except for... The Violet Monarch's Crown."

The Crown.

Nanako’s eyes widened. My Dog Disciple has the Crown?!

Arnold shook violently. He knew the legends best. The Violet Monarch's Crown was forged from the faith of ten thousand races. It represented supreme authority. And the legend said... Whoever possesses the Crown can resurrect the Violet Monarch's body and inherit his unparalleled power.
