Chapter 37:

Chapter 37: Our Goal is to SLAY THE GODS!

I’m Too OP, So I Decided to Troll My Loli Master Instead of Saving the World

He tossed a strawberry into his mouth and asked casually: "That's how I see the Violet Monarch. What about you? How do you see him?"

Vivian paused, then clasped her hands together, eyes shining with worship. "The greatest Ancestor! The person Vivian admires the most!"

Lynn watched her from the corner of his eye and asked nonchalantly: "In that case... I'm saying hypothetically... if he were still alive, but ignored his family for a thousand years... would you hate him?"

Vivian’s eyes lit up instantly. "Is my Ancestor still alive?! Where?! Where is he?!" She looked left and right frantically.

BONK. Lynn delivered a knuckle sandwich to her head. Steam rose from the bump on Vivian’s head.

"I said HYPOTHETICALLY!" Lynn closed his eyes. "Didn't you hear the 'If'?"

Vivian rubbed her head cutely, pouting. "Mmm... If it's hypothetical... then of course I wouldn't hate him!"

Lynn paused, surprised. "Why?"

Vivian clasped her hands behind her back, kicking a pebble with her toe. "Because Ancestor is the Violet Monarch! The strongest man on the continent! If he is still alive and hasn't come to see us, he must have his reasons!"

"Because Papa once said..."

She raised her head, expression serious, looking at the stunned Lynn. She clasped her hands together again.

"The Violet Family will wait forever. Even if only one person is left... even if only a weak little girl like me remains... we must never forget the glory of the Violet Family!"

"Ancestor will definitely return! He will lead the Violet Family again, spreading our glory to the ends of the world!"

She raised her small fist and punched the air enthusiastically.

"And then... SLAY THE GODS!!"

She shouted. It seemed like infinite fighting spirit was contained within her tiny body.

Maybe she didn't understand the weight of those words. Maybe she was just young and naive. But when she shouted it, the vibrant, youthful energy was moving.

Lynn froze. Then, he laughed. He laughed so hard he held his stomach. Tears came out of his eyes.

It was a bit mocking. But it also felt like a heavy burden had been lifted.

He gently put a strawberry in his mouth. Sweet juice exploded as he bit down.

"He will. I believe that day will come."

"And, please believe this..." Lynn turned his head, the corner of his mouth curling up.

"Gods can be killed."

Vivian blinked, about to speak. But just then, a fierce wind erupted in the sky.

In that instant. Vivian watched in shock.

A bloody light shot out from the massive rift in the sky. It landed just outside Moon Orchid City.

A gigantic Blood Gate, several times taller than the highest tower in the city, slowly materialized.

HUMMMM. A terrifying aura from ancient times poured out of the bottomless crimson gate.

Vivian’s face filled with indescribable fear. "This... This is..." "The Blood Lord of the Abyss!!"

Outside the valley, Nanako and the Knights trembled, staring at the massive Spatial Gate forming outside the city. Even their souls and origins shivered.

The Blood Lord... Finally appeared!!

Lynn tossed another strawberry into his mouth. He stepped forward, stretching his muscles. His voice softened.

"But before slaying Gods, you shouldn't forget to cultivate properly. However, for the sake of you daring to say those words..."

Vivian trembled, staring blankly at the young man whose eyes had suddenly softened.

Under her gaze, the young man walked step by step toward the gate.

Stop. He stood smiling directly opposite the massive Spatial Gate. He rubbed his wrists.

"I'll give you a little courage."

My Descendant.

[ The Gate ]

Instantly. The massive Blood Gate twisted and expanded. Something was desperately trying to push its way out.

The earth shook. The sky changed color. The smell of blood poured out uncontrollably.

Then. A massive hand made of Rotting Crimson Sludge reached out, accompanied by the heavy beat of ancient war drums.

Squelch—— Squelch——

Under the trembling gaze of everyone in the city... A bloated, disgusting demon, flowing with crimson flesh and slime, squeezed out of the gate bit by bit.

On that disgusting sludge, faces struggled to surface. Bloodshot eyeballs popped open one by one.

ROAR—— A raspy, powerful growl that sounded like thousands of people screaming and scratching in your ears.

Next second. The massive, twisted demon descended onto the world.

The Blood Lord.

Vivian retreated in terror. Just one look made her feel like her soul was being crushed. This was an entity second only to the Monarchs in the Abyss.

According to the "Brief History of the Abyss" written by the Violet Monarch: The Blood Lord was a chaotic creature from the depths of the Abyss, formed by absorbing countless flesh and souls over eons. A true horror.

"Is this the territory once ruled by that Human Demigod..." The countless faces on the Blood Lord’s body emitted raspy whispers.

His independent eyeballs shone with mocking light. "Although foolish, I must admire him. To dare declare war on the Gods... he had some courage."

He descended personally for one reason. The Violet Monarch's Crown.

The Crown meant nothing to him. But what was inside the Crown meant everything. It was the supreme token that could allow him to ascend to Monarch Rank.

Half a Divinity (Godhead).

Whether Demon, Human, or other creature... There was only one path to Godhood. Forge a Divinity. Rise against the Heavens.

But because he was a product of chaotic flesh, souls, and resentment, he couldn't forge a Divinity within himself. He was capped at Demon Lord Rank.

To become a Monarch... The only way was to kill a Demigod and steal their Half-Divinity.

But killing a Demigod was incredibly difficult. Finding a Demigod who died in history and stealing their left-behind Half-Divinity was much simpler.

Kekekekeke—— Heart-stopping laughter erupted from his countless mouths.

A Thousand Years! A whole thousand years!

This was the most recent Demigod death in this era. This was his goal.

Many thought the Gods took the Half-Divinity after harvesting the Demigods. But only a few knew the truth. Wrong! Dead wrong!

The Gods didn't care about the Divinity. What they wanted was the Pure Origin Power born when the Divinity was being nurtured.

The leftover Half-Divinity... was left behind as Bait. Bait to tempt other beings to become Demigods.

Because only when more beings became Demigods... could the Gods satisfy their greedy, endless hunger.
