Afterword [Volume End]

Hello, thank you all for reading through this fourth volume of EPGM. Unlike the first three volumes, this one I decided to write out completely beforehand, mainly due to how significant the changes I made were. And even then, I still ended up doing big edits after chapters were posted. If I'm being honest, this was probably my least favorite volume thus far to write, mainly because I feel it's the weakest story-wise. That being said, there are some very important story beats such as Okisato and the sinful 6, the reveal of more maestros, and of course Kuon's masterplan. I do feel most of my gripes lie with the Season 4 stuff I had to revise as while there are some great games, getting the story to flow to the point where said moments the games occur, was a true pain. 

The good news is now, Volume 5 will likely be a much smoother ride to write as that will focus on adapting Side Story 2 as well as the buildup chapters to the Chess Olympics. I'm really excited to work on that, so I hope you are excited for it as well. Thank you for reading. Look forward to Volume 5.
