CHAPTER 19

He approached Fujio at the park. This “He” was a student in Fujio’s class. Fujio could probably guess his name, but he hesitated and decided against it. He pretended not to notice him as “he” approached him.

“Hey... are you Fujio?”

Fujio slowly looked up, trying to look perfectly natural.

“Y-yeah?”

“Oh...”

Fujio watched him as he gave him a weird look and walked away. He felt his face getting hot and he shifted around. He knew that he really did nothing weird, but for some reason it felt like his fault.

“I should just forget about it; he probably got the wrong person or something...” He thought to himself as he got up from the bench.

He walked home while staring at his feet, thinking about all the possibilities of why this happened. He had no clue as to why people were looking at him like that at school, and why someone was approach-

Fujio looked up as he felt the impact on his head.

“S-sorry...” he said and speedwalked away.

He caught glimpses of the person he had bumped into, and they seemed to mumble something as they passed by too.

“W-wait... never mind...” but Fujio didn’t hear it well enough to react.

“Interesting...” Fujio thought, speeding up his walk.

With that thought he kept strolling off to his house, completely unaware of what he just missed.
