Chapter 5-THE AMBUSH

At Heaven's Paradise the eight archangels had a meeting.

Michael: "Thank you all for coming."

Metatron: "It's not like we had a choice."

Gabriel: "So what's this all about?"

Michael: "I'll go straight to the point. You all remember Lucifer's kids right?"

Uriel: "Yeah we do."

Sariel: "I think it was Hesperus, Zucifer, Maveth and Azubah right? Yeah we know them."

Ramiel: "What about them? Are they on the move?"

Raphael: "No, if they where then we would be in big trouble."

Metatron: "What do you mean by that? Surely you don't think they can defeat us?"

Michael: "The other three won't be a problem." (Then all of a sudden Michael's expression turned serious.) "But the other one Zucifer, he's a treat himself. His power level is strong, I don't know how but it increased rapidly since childhood."

Uriel: "What do you mean by that? You telling me he's now strong enough to take both Seraphims and Archangels down?"

Raphael: "Yes, compared to Seraphims he can take them down easily, but he can't defeat an Archangel. But he can hold his own against one."

Ramiel: "This is bad. If he really is that strong then we have to team up against him."

Raphael: "That won't do, he has the demon blade Infinite Aurora blade, so his power level has to be increased. And God informed me that Zucifer has forms, fifteen in total, each able to terrorise any dimension, realms and even universes each five hundred of them."

Michael: "That's why Raphael and I think it's best to give the kids their weapons now. The only person who can fight him back is Alexander."

Metatron: "Let me deal with the other three Morningstars, Hesperus, Maveth and Azubah."

Uriel: "Careful out there Metatron, if Zucifer finds out you're after his brothers, he's gonna hunt you down. And remember, he doesn't have any heart meaning he won't hesitate to kill you."

Metatron: "I can handle them."

Michael: "That ego of yours will get you killed one day."

Metatron got up and walked away, and stopped right infront of the door, his blue armour shining through the lights and he looked back through his shoulders and he scoffed.

Metatron: "Clearly you're underestimating me Michael."

With that single respond he walked out of the room.

Michael (He looked at the door and spoke in a low voice.) : "And clearly you're underestimating them."

The day was as normal as ever in Heaven's Paradise. The young archangels were training, until archangel Michael interrupted them.

Michael: "Hey kids come here."

The young archangels stopped their training and approached him.

Michael: "Today is the day you'll all receive your holy weapons."

Miguel (he looked at his father with a confused expression.): "Holy weapons?"

Akram: "It refers to weapons but instead of normal weapons they can help us control our magical powers."

William: "Ohh I get it, since we can't release our full magical powers it acts as a perfect gateway for us to unleash our true powers, is that correct?"

Michael: "Exactly, you guys have magical powers but with holy weapons you can excess them with ease."

Alexander: "Then what are we waiting for?"

Michael: "Calm down, you will but first I need you to go on a small mission for me. And you'll have to go as a small unit, in which you'll receive an Archangel as your trainer and your leader."

Alexander: "What? I thought I was the leader of the deadly Archangels."

Michael: "You are but in this mission you'll have to split up into a four man mission. So Alexander, you'll be going with Akram William and Miguel. I'll be leading charge."

Alexander: "Fine, but first the weapons."

Michael: "Alright, come with me."

The kids followed him to the Holy weapons forge and each of them got their new upgraded weapons.

Alexander: "I got a one handed axe?"

William: "I got an upgraded cross baw."

Akram: "I got a spear."

Ramona: "I got a hammer."

Ariadne: "I got a staff."

Miguel: "I got a scythe."

Michael: "Don't take those weapons lightly. They are holy made, which means they are more powerful than normal ones, especially yours Alexander. It was created by the sun itself, which means you can fight using the power of the sun."

Alexander: "Not bad, now what's the mission?"

Michael: "Metatron went to try and kill Lucifer's kids, Hesperus Maveth and Azubah."

Akram: "What about Zucifer?"

Michael: "He won't be at the check point. So you'll have to back him up."

Alexander: "Alright we'll move out once Amina returns."

Michael: "You'll be leaving without her. This will be too much for her."

Alexander: "Fine, then let's go."

Without hesitation, Michael teleported them to the check point.

In Hell Hesperus, Maveth and Azubah got their weapons.

Hesperus: "Hmm? The Grand Sovereign Claymore? It says it's a massive, ornate greatsword that grows in in size and weight based on the wielder's pride. Guess I'm fit for it."

Azubah: "Cursed Serrated Scythe, A messy weapon designed for carnage that leaves wounds that cannot be healed by holy magic."

Maveth: "Dual Shadow Reavers? Sweet, I heard stories about this, it allows me to cut through shadows and teleport. Nice, now to go and confront father about mom."

Hesperus: "He better not give us any trouble."

The three boys ran to the Pride Castle to confront their father. When they arrived they saw him sitting on his throne.

Hesperus: "Sorry for barging in father, but we came to ask you some questions."

Maveth: "And we hope you'll answer them all."

Lucifer: "Hmm? What is it? Speak."

Azubah: "Why is it that when we try to remember mom's face or any memories we had for her its all foggy?"

Lucifer: "I don't know, maybe you're forgetting who she is."

Maveth (he bites his thumb so hard that he bleeds and a wicked grin forms on his mouth.): "Don't play dumb with us father, you know something don't you? So we want answers."

Lucifer: "Fine, I'll make you a deal. If you accomplish this mission, I'll tell you all you want to know."

Hesperus: "What's the mission?"

Lucifer: "An angel spy was recently spotted near the waterfalls in earth making portals to Heaven. Find them and force them to teach you how to teleport to heaven and then kill them, is that a deal?"

Maveth: "Don't ask me twice. Let's go you two."

Hesperus: "Since when are you the leader?"

Azubah: "The real question is why he voted for us?"

The three boys exited the palace and teleported to earth's waterfalls. When they arrived they could smell the aroma of the fresh water and even angel scent.

Maveth (he sniffed in the air and looked around.): "Eyes peeled you two, I can smell an angel up ahead."

Hesperus looked at Maveth with a weird expression, as if looking at a puzzled cube. And they walked to the water falls were they saw an angel communicating through a small portal.

Maveth (he leaned forward and sniffed then leaned back and thought to himself.): "So it ain't you I smelled in Hell a few hours ago. Then who? No matter, this will be a fun hide and seek. (He smiled and bites his thumb again.)

He used his weapon to cut through his shadow and he slowly sinked in it and he appeared behind the angels shadow and jumped up then he kick the angel's neck hard that the sound of the angel's bone breaking was so loud even Hesperus and Azubah heard it and the angel was thrown towards the boulders near by, and Maveth landed on his feet.

Maveth (cracking his neck.): "So, you're the angel whose been spying on us. Gotta say I was really hoping you were the one from before, ohh... Well guess I have to kill you then." (He took out the second Dual Shadow Reaver and aimed at the angel with his evil teeth out and his eyes glowing Ruby red.) "I think I'll start by ripping out your wings. Then I'll finally show everyone that I'm better than Z and became the new King of Hell."

Hesperus (walked out of the bushes and sighed.): "Hold your horses Mav, we have to make him teach us how to create a portal to Heaven."

Azubah: "Why is that every one of you wants to become the new King of Hell?"

???: "New King of Hell huh? How cute."

Then appeared a mysterious voice above them and it's power level was even above one of a normal angel, and they quickly looked around only to see the archangel Metatron. His blue armour reflecting the sun's rays. His arms crossed and he smiled as he looked down them, his wings slowly flapping and he lands down on the water.

Metatron: "So, you three are the great brats of Lucifer aren't you? Your faces look exactly like his, but your eyes are like hers (he spoke in a whispered voice and he looked down.)

Maveth (he walked forward his eyes darting at Metatron never leaving his gaze.): "I know you, archangel Metatron. I've always liked that name it has dominance in it. And to think you made that fake angel just to lure us here how predictable." (He pointed his Dual Shadow Reavers at him ready to launch at him.) "But you'll die in my hands."

Metatron: "Why must we fight with you kids? But if you really want me then come at me will all you've got." (He drew out his sword and aimed at Maveth who had death written all over his face.)

Maveth smiled, as if expecting him to say those words and he launched at him with full force, their blades climates with each other creating small sparks. Maveth smiled, he disappeared and reappeared behind Metatron and tried to cut his neck but Metatron dodged and kick him in the gut, Maveth spit out blood from his mout while the first was in his gut, sending him flying towards the waterfalls and threw the the water.

Hesperus (he looked at where Maveth fell.): "Idiot, you can't go into battle without a plan." (He then focused his attention towards Metatron.) "I guess it's my turn. We may be brothers, but unlike Maveth or the two of my brothers, I always have a plan A and plan B!!!"

He charged towards Metatron and holds out his hand and Grand Sovereign Claymore appeared and he jumped up and slashed it over Metatron's sword and and the Grand Sovereign Claymore grew a bit, it's strength, speed and power increased.

Hesperus: "Don't be fooled by it's features, this sword is very powerful."

Without hesitation Azubah appeared behind Metatron and he kicked his ribs hard and a loud sound of his bones breaking were heard and his amour cracked a bit, sending him flying towards the trees.

Azubah (he landed on one of his feet and looked at his brother.): "Damn how hard did I kick him?"

Hesperus: "The real question is why did you kick my opponent? You could have waited for your turn."

Azubah: "Even so I wanna finish this battle quickly, and remember if we fight one on one we won't stand a chance."

Maveth (he slowly walked out of the waterfalls his hair and clothes dripping wet and he grinned.): "He does have a point. And judging from this artifact earring, his power level is 300000+ while his magical power is 500000+. While we stand at 40000 power level and 30000 magical power. He has experience when it comes to magical powers, the only chance we have is to work together, as always."

Metatron (he got up and cleared some dust and wood from his armour.): "You kids are tough, but still even if you came at me at once you'll never beat me, even if you prayed to your father Lucifer, you are still ants to be...."

He was cut off by Maveth's kick on his left leg knocking him down.

Maveth: "You talk too much."

Hesperus appears on the sky and spins his sword at Metatron's head, but he dodged and landed behind them, but Azubah anticipated his landing and held out his hand from behind and his Cursed Serrated Scythe appeared spinning and it landed on his hand. He harnessed his magical powers to the scythe and threw it at Metatron.

Azubah: "THUNDER SCYTHE!!!"

The scythe spins towards Metatron's back but he dodged by flying up and the scythe followed him everywhere he flew to the point that he reached a dead end and the scythe connected with his armour chest. And an explosion appeared and the scythe sythe returned to Azubah. A big smoke was hovering on the air where Metatron was.

Azubah: "Did it connect?"

The smoke cleared and Metatron was flying on the air with many scratches on his body and armour, his breathing was heavy and he was sweating.

Metatron: "That wasn't a normal magical power now was it?"

Azubah (he smirked and leaned on his scythe.): "Ohh, you've noticed? Actually we combined our magical powers, my thunder power and scythe, while Hesperus used his aiming techniques to always follow the only target, on your chest and finally Maveth's shadow technique followed you everywhere you go. You like it?"

Metatron: "Good techniques, for little brats. But it will all be nothing once I get serious."

Maveth (he looked at Metatron): "What? So you where holding holding back this whole time?"

Metatron (he smiled.): "What? You actually think I'll use my full might at once on you little creatures? Pathetic. I'll kill you all right here right now."

Just as he was about to attach a portal appeared and came out Alexander, Miguel, William and Akram along with Michael.

Micheal: "Stand down brother, let the kids have a little practise with their cousins."

Alexander: "Don't call them my cousins, they are nothing but insolence creatures."

Alexander pointed his Divine Holy Entity Axe Sol-Aiel it's goldness shining throw the glowing sun and a red sun like aura appeared around it readying himself to attack.

Maveth (he looked up at him and smiled.): "Ohh, I remember you, you are from the forest aren't you? So you got a new toy huh? Well, I'll your opponent what do you say?"

Alexander: "No, I want your brother Zucifer, where is he?"

Maveth (his expression turned to one of anger and his veins grew and he screamed.): "HE AIN'T HERE SO YOU'LL HAVE TO DEAL WITH MEEEE!!!"

Maveth launched at him and their weapons collided and the fight between them began.
