Two Swords, One Creature

They both started running at the same time and separated halfway through.

While Caitrin went to the left, Orano went right.

The Creature was confused about who it should attack first, but then it tried to attack Tatsumi since it made it angrier. Tatsumi swung his sword like he was going to attack, but Caitrin hit it from the left side.

The creature got angry and turned to her, but then Tatsumi attacked it and made it angrier. They attacked the creature like this again and again, but the creature had enough of it and it lifted its paws again and tried to hit them.

But they got away and got into a safe position once more.

And while they got closer to the bag, Orano said,

"We have to be closer. I'm almost there."

"What are we trying to do? What is the plan that is in your head?" Caitrin asked as she looked at the Tigo.

"I don't have the time to explain it to you. We just have to distract the creature first."

He then added,

"Another weak point of the creature is under its chest. We have to hit there next."

It was a situation where they had to think fast, so Caitrin looked at the creature and said to herself,

*I can do it.*

She then started running at the creature. 

The creature realized her and tried to hit her with its paw, but while she was running, she dropped to her knees and slid under its paw. Then when she got under it, she tried to hit the creature from the right side of its head. But the creature acted quickly like her and bit her sword. 

They couldn't get each other off guard, and Caitrin's protected her. But she was struggling to push it back.

So she shouted,

"Tatsumi! It's your turn!"

After she said that, she pulled her legs into her stomach and kicked the creature from below its head. The impact of the kick made its head go up. So after she kicked her, Orano caught the Tigo's head in the air and kicked it too.

This made the creature fly away again, but still, it looked strong as before and was acting like it didn't take any damage.

Caitrin then looked at Orano and saw that he was searching for something in his bag. 

She then said to herself, while still sitting on the ground,

*I actually saw his bag fall when the creature hit him, but what could be that important in it?*

Orano then took out a potion bottle that was filled with a red liquid and started to shake the bottle up and down. This made the bottle glow bright red, and then he threw it at the creature.

Nothing happened for the first few seconds when the red liquid spilled on the creature. But after a few seconds, the liquid shone again, and the crystals on the creature began to explode and break like a piece of glass.

Caitrin then stood up and said excitedly,

"They exploded! How did you do that?"

"I told you before that I fought a Tigo before. Ever since then I've been taking notes on the weak points of its crystals. And after some time, I finally found out that it starts to react when its crystals are mixed with a fast-reacting liquid. So I decided to carry something like this with me for this kind of situations."

And while they were talking, the creature roared once more and it tried to approach them. But this time it looked like it was more tired and weaker. 

It was like all of its energy was gone.

Orano said,

"Since all the crystals on it are broken, It can't defend itself anymore. It is time to finish it."

Caitrin gripped her sword and replied,

"Okay."

Then they both ran at the creature and started attacking it. 

They were attacking from all directions, leaving all kinds of wounds on the creature. 

And after a while, the creature couldn't stand it and fell to the ground and fainted. So after their fight ended, Caitrin fell to the ground and sat there, gasping for air.

She said while looking at the creature,

"Did we kill this creature too?"

Orano replied,

"It will definitely not come here anymore, but I can't say anything about its life. It suffered severe injuries and it can die because of them. But it can also cling to life since their kind is strong. For now, let's not touch it, even if it's a creature it can't do any harm anymore."

Caitrin said as she tried to stand up,

"Okay, but did you find anything related to the rift?"

"Yeah, I have already found something about that."

"Well, where did you see?" Caitrin said excitedly as she looked at him.

"I saw Emperal. Just like you."

"Really?"

"It will not be a nice search, but it is our next stop."

"So we are directly going there too, huh?"

"Exactly. Since we have no time to lose, we are directly going to Emperal. We will begin our next search from there."

Caitrin then looked at the sky and said to herself,

"So we are finally going there."

After their conversation, they left there and visited the bar one last time. Orano told the bartender the situation, and the bartender became happy and thanked them. 

As usual, Orano took his payment in exchange for helping, and they left there. 

And while walking again, Caitrin asked with a sarcastic voice tone and a tired face expression,

"I'm actually getting tired of horse-drawn carriages. Isn't there any way we can travel?"

"Actually there is one different way we can travel to the sixth kingdom." Orano replied.

Caitrin got very happy and asked excitedly,

"Really? Aah, finally! I was really getting annoyed by the aching bones. How are we going to travel then?"

"Since the people there like to travel more in better quality and pleasant ways, they use Air Balloons."

He then added,

"It's only half an hour from here. So it won't be long before we get there. But we'll have to deal with the fee and permit for the ride there."

Caitrin got very happy to hear that and wanted to say something as she smiled. But something inside her stopped her from doing it and she felt a different kind of pain in her chest. It was a big weight that she carried in her chest and it was getting heavier as they progressed.

And it bothered her very much. 

So she slowly stopped walking and bowed down her head. 

When Orano realized this, he stopped too, looked at her, and said,

"Hey, Caitrin. Are you alright?"

"Actually, I want to say something to you." Caitrin replied as she looked at him once more.
