イントロ : 私の人生 (Intro: My Life)

Hey there. My name is Matsumura Momoe, and I'm from Miyagi prefecture in Japan. That's like in the middle of Hokkaido and Tokyo. My mom always tells me that my name means 100 blessings or something, but I don't get why she takes it seriously. It's not like I'm going to just one day suddenly get 100 blessings and would not have to live this wretched lifestyle anymore. As I have mentioned just now, yes, my family is poor. I'm 15, and I still don't have a smartphone. I keep trying to convince my mom to let me get one, but she always tells me to focus on my studies instead! I know that I don't need it to survive, but it would help me to have one.

Next week, I will be transferring to a new school. "Why?" You may ask. I got bullied in my old school. The students would make fun of me because of my old shirt, messy hair, and a bunch of other stuff every day. It wasn't just verbal assault. My classmates have physically assaulted me. It was not pleasing at all. That day, I came home with bruises all over my body and blood flowing out of my mouth. That's the day my mom decided that I would have to transfer to a new school. "Why didn't the teachers do anything?" It's because they didn't care. All they cared about was shoving knowledge into students' heads and making them do tests and have it graded. 

Even though all the bullying has affected me, I always try to stay bright so the people near me won't feel the same way. All I want is a friend. Someone I can trust and go to when I need help. Someone to go to places with me. Someone to eat with at lunchtime. That is all I ever wanted, but it never seemed to come to me. But starting at a new school means a new life. My goal is to make a friend in the new school. One would be great.
