The Cracked Door

Next Day

I jumped up, disoriented. Ugh, where am I? Show yourself!

Mullet Girl walked in. "Oh, you're up. I thought I heard yelling."

What am I doing here?

"You called me to pick you up. You looked beat up and asked to stay for a few days."

How long have I been out " A whole day"Panic set in. I'm breathing heavy Where's my phone?

She grabbed me. "Look at me. You are OK. Tell me what's going on."

So, I told her. My family being killed, the stalker, the letters. And the photo the one of us kissing.

They threatened to send it to my best friend, J. I'm in love with her, but she doesn't like me that way. I didn't want her to see it. I met them because I'm stupid and now I'm in this big mess. I'm sorry I put you in it.

Mullet Girl hugged me as I cried "Wow. I knew you were getting stalked, but dang, that's a lot. Are you okay?"

(In her head: Oh... she's already in love with someone.)

10 mins after

I checked my phone.

J🤍: Hey are you okay? I have some big news.

N: What's going on?

J🤍: Can we hang out tomorrow night?

N: Yeah.

Mullet Girl went to run errands while I slept in her bed. When she came back, she woke me up with food.

"So, what do you like to do?" she asked awkwardly as we ate.

I laughed softly. I like to eat and watch anime. I like to paint, skateboard, and play guitar. I haven't done those things since I lost my family, though.

The silence was heavy. What about you?

"I like to box and work out," she said. "I like hanging with friends" but I like hanging with you mostly she says in her head

The food is really good. Sorry, I got distracted.

" No you are fine" I was gone tell you earlier " What do you want to do tonight?watch movies I can go get snacks." Yea we can do that I'll shower while you get snacks.

Mullet girl comes back from getting snacks " Hey N I'm back." N is in the shower still. Mullet girl " she's been in there for a while let me check on her."as she walks up she sees the door is cracked and she peeks through the crack of the door and sees N body. She froze, mesmerized by my body from my chest to my thighs and butt. She turned away, blushing hard. "What am I doing?"

5 mins later

When I came out, I saw her siting on the couch looking for movies.When did you get back? You should've told me."

"Oh, I just got back," she lied. "I called out but you didn't respond so I just wanted to give you some more time for your self because I know you have a lot going on." N blushes a lil "thanks"They sit on the couch and 20 minutes into the movie N is fast asleep and Mullet girl takes her to her bed and goes to sleep N wakes up and Mullet girl is not there

N checks her phone

Mullet girl: Hey i'm going to be out all day I have to train my client and get a hair cut and more errands so feel free to make your self comfortable.
