Mimoko's interview

"Hi! I'm Mimoko. Mimoko Inoue. I'm here as part of the Beauty Queens, manning the rising star board," Mimoko smiled.

"That's pretty fitting, but what led to you getting that board instead of top 100? You're top 5 in the world now, not counting maestros," Kisha frowned.

"Initially, I was going to be in that spot, but strategically speaking, the team captain felt it would be better to have me on a lower board to try and rack up more wins."

"So no clash with Peter Morphy."

"Sadly, but this is a team event. I will be facing Tanabe-kun though, but my record against him points to a far more favorable result for the team compared to my record against Peter-kun."

"Right, right. He's like the only non-maestro to even draw against you."

"I feel others could. It all depends. That being said, two people who do have good chances of winning against me are on the same team."

"Noa and Hagemi. I've got plenty of questions for them, but you're the star right now. So, winning chances?"

"Kisha-chan, I'm not going to say anything like that. We have a strong lineup, but favorites don't always win. Given the format, a team could go undefeated, but lose in the grand final. Points only matter in the first part, then it's single elimination."

"Well, I'll just ask another one of your teammates for their winner predictions. Everyone, Mimoko Inoue!"
