Chapter 8:
Zankoku Na Jinsei : In Another World I Was Suffered Like Hell (Volume 2) + (Volume 3)
He felt the boy's heart hammering against his chest—a sound he remembered from the Tree of Innocents.
Suddenly, the feeling of living so many lives arrived one after one...
Suddenly, he throwed the kid apart from where the kid was about to die......\
His legs buckled and gave way, a violent tremor seizing his entire frame.
He collapsed into the dirt, clutching his skull as if to keep it from splitting open.
One by one, memories began to hammer against the inside of his mind......cruel, jagged shards of a past
As his legs buckled and the trillion echoes of Shen’s mockery hammered against his skull, a grotesque, twisted smile carved its way across his raw, skinless lips....
Shin whispered: (No!!!!!!!!, Don't kill me.......
No!!!!!!!, Don't punish me....
Please don' t hit me!!!!!!!
PLease!!!! i beg you......
No.... please don't burn me.......)
Framed by deep, dark holes that looked like bruises from the abyss..
Creating the terrifying image of a man staring into his own grave while grinning through absolute, soul-crushing agony with a rudiculous smile meant for a man that no longer recognized his self.
But still the memories which was disappered didn't arrived instead it just give him head ache...
He didn't remember what he saw....
He just remembered what he had was head ache nothing more than that
And then, he got normal again....
He shifted his face toward the kid and shouted...
Shin shouted: ( You son of bitch....
Are you crazy?
And even what kind of creature are you?
You bastard!!!!
You have no brain right?
If you had then, this would never happened...)
Kid felt a insult toward him and also toward her mother....
And more than that it was from some stranger....
Next moment, he raised his hand and slapped shin as hard he could and then begin hitting him punch one after one....
Kid shouted: (Huh?
How the fuck you dared to say me bitch of son?
It looked like you have been not raised well by your parents...
In fact you are son of a bitch
And....
What the hell are you saying?
Did i asked you to save me?
And what even you meant by saying what are you?
Of course i am a human just like you bastard...
And think about this for a moment....who just saved someone he even didn't know...)
Shin said; (I am a human? Just like you? So that is what i am? And parents.....What is this word used for?
I just said you son of bitch because it just slipped from my mouth..
I don't even know what it mean...
Hey, i accept the fact i didn't knew you but it doesn't mean i can't save you from what you was about to do?
Am i right?)
Kid whispered: ( You are right about this...
Wait!!!!!!!
Are you saying you don't knew you was a human....?
And even don't know what parents are?
You don't know about anyone? Who is your father or mother? or even who are father and mother?
Don't tell me you don't even know how you was born?
Don't tell me th--------------)
And then, he got collapsed there because he had no much more energy left...
It was almost looked like:
He didn't ate or drink anything past weeks.
But to shin, it was like seeing an insect he didn't knew why he is looking so weak because he even didn't know why his stomatch was making weird sounds and the fact that he is hungry..
He kneeled down and then got kid on his shoulder and begin moving toward the house beside him....
It was like a mansion almost..
He didn't tried to give it thought even if he did he would never know what is that....
As he stepped into the mansion, the girl's image didn't just appear; it flickered over the boy's shivering form.
For a second, the weight on his shoulder wasn't a dying child, but the memory of a feeling that was trying to pull him back.
The environment triggered a glitch.
This place begin to seem like he knew it before but don't know now why he is feeling this...
And then the voices begin appearing his head from past memories....with glitching and cutted some of words...
Shin stood frozen, the boy’s dead weight on his shoulder forgotten as he stared out at the churning, charcoal waves.
Suddenly, the reality of the salt-heavy ocean began to glitch and tear at the seams.
The violent spray of the sea didn't just feel like water; it felt like a thousand "jagged shards" of a past he couldn't name, cutting through his mind.
Across the gray horizon, a shape flickered into existence—a girl standing where the water met the sky.
Her face was not visible it was blur....
She wasn't a stranger; she was a "hollow, aching void" suddenly filled with light.
He saw her gaze, a mix of "happiness and enjoyment that felt like a physical burn against his skinless face.
She didn't look at the "god" or the "mangled meat" of his flayed skin; she looked straight into the "glitch in his eyes," seeing the "boy screaming for mercy" beneath the surface.
The wind didn't just roar; it whispered her plea: I am trying to pull you back.
In that moment, the ridiculous smile on Shin's lips faltered, replaced by a soul-crushing tremor as the "bruises from the abyss" under his eyes filled with the first tears of a man who realized he was "staring into his own grave while she reached out to save him.
Then, like a broken record, the vision shattered, leaving him alone in the cold wind with a starving child and a name he still couldn't remember.
As the vision of the girl flickered against the charcoal waves, a sickening realization clawed at the walls of his empty mind.
It was the feeling of a hollow, aching void—a phantom limb that should have been there but was gone.
He knew, with a certainty that burned more than his raw skin, that something "truly mattered" was missing, a piece of his soul that he reached for but could never grasp.
Suddenly, the air became heavy and thick, turning into lead inside his lungs.
His heart didn't just beat; it hammered against his ribs like a trapped insect from the Tree of Innocents, making every breath feel like he was inhaling glass.
His throat tightened, the muscles locking in a "violent tremor" until he couldn't even draw in the salt-heavy air.
He was suffocating on the silence of a quadrillion forgotten years.
With every ounce of "god-like power" left in his broken frame, the pressure inside him finally erupted.
He threw his head back, his fingers "clutching his skull" as a guttural, soul-crushing roar tore from his chest—a sound that was half-scream and half-prayer to a god he no longer recognized.
As the roar echoed across the limestone cliffs, hot, jagged tears began falling beneath his eyes carving tracks through the bruises from the abyss and the blood on his flayed face.
The echo of his roar still vibrated against the limestone cliffs, yet as the last vibration died away, a chilling stillness took its place.
Just like that, he became normal again—the violent tremors ceased, and the jagged shards of the girl at the sea were swept back into the hollow, aching void of his mind.
It was as if a hand had reached into his skull and wiped the chalkboard clean; the visions were now forgotten, or rather, they were locked behind a door he no longer knew existed.
With a slow, steady hand, he wiped the tears and blood from the deep, dark holes beneath his eyes.
His face, though still a "mangled heap" of raw skin and "white bone," settled into a terrifyingly blank expression.
He felt no more pain, no more longing—only the "heavy gravity" of the mansion standing before him.
He adjusted the weight of the unconscious boy on his shoulder and began walking toward the looming mansion.
Each step was silent on the dirt, the movements of a man "reborn with no memories" of who he was or the "quadrillion lives" he had already discarded.
He didn't look back at the charcoal ocean or the place where he had just screamed for mercy; he simply moved toward the only "home" his broken instincts could find.
